Global Dungeon: I Can See the Status Bar
Chapter 605 - 275: Eerie Black Mist, Finally Discovering the Cyan Profound Sword Sect Ruins (Part 2)
This is the whole view of the Little World!
Compared to the towering Cultivation Realm, it may seem like a mere "insignificant" speck, but it’s still astonishingly vast, occupying nearly all of Lu Wenwu’s vision!
Around this conglomerate of light globes-like Little World, black mist, akin to a solar corona, is continuously rising.
They amalgamate, separate, and change forms around the Little World, desperately attempting to intrude into the world.
The outermost barrier of the Little World has dimmed so much, yet it still stands like a mountain, blocking the seemingly omnipresent black mist outside.
The black mist continually attempts to penetrate, but the teetering world barrier remains frighteningly resilient, not allowing even half of it to break through, maintaining nearly half its brilliant glow.
What is that thing exactly!
Lu Wenwu’s eyes narrowed intensely, feeling two emotions named fear and fury wandering constantly in his heart.
He doesn’t dare to activate the Eye of True Sight to analyze.
The cosmic environment is too peculiar.
The sensation from the black mist is unprecedented!
The Netherworld Pardon Order and the Life and Death Talisman are by no means invincible, can’t be fully relied upon, and Lu Wenwu knows this well.
But why does he feel both fear and fury?
Could he actually feel the emotion of fear?
The jump altar didn’t give Lu Wenwu much time to think further.
The Space Barrier loomed near, and he was about to reach his destination.
Without having time to think deeply, Lu Wenwu wielded the World-Breaking Shuttle, blasting a small opening in the world barrier, instantly diving within.
"Bang!"
A suffocating sound shattered the long-standing silence.
The dust accumulated over countless years softened like cotton, becoming the perfect tool to absorb the impact.
Lu Wenwu’s entire body slammed fiercely onto the ground, stirring up swathes of black dust.
The temporary altar used for inter-world jumping shattered into pieces, completing its mission.
Lu Wenwu climbed from the ground, coughing as he conjured a water ball to wash his face, using the moisture to forcibly suppress the dust around him.
He didn’t rush to set up another anchor coordinate but first observed the world he was in.
Desolate, lifeless, sparse Spiritual Qi, turbid air.
That’s Lu Wenwu’s initial sensory impression of this world.
He didn’t sense the presence of any life signs around.
The sky of this Little World was of a weird dark gray, lacking the Sun’s radiance, making it impossible to distinguish day from night.
The surface, which should have been bright, likely appeared gloomy for this reason, resembling an overcast day.
In the distance, strange high mountains crisscrossed, with rivers flowing with turbid yellow water winding through them.
Unknown species of ancient large plants were "extending" in this environment, twisted branches interwoven into strange and bone-chilling forms, resembling Demon Fiends.

[Analysis]: Mutated ancient tree died after being contaminated by evil presence
A drop of blood?
Lu Wenwu saw for the first time something with only a drop of blood.
He casually tossed a Low-grade Spirit Stone over.
The instant the Spirit Stone hit the tree trunk, the massive ancient tree cluster crumbled, falling apart into large swaths of black dust that lingered on the ground, leaving only a faintly glowing Spirit Stone embedded in the earth.
Lu Wenwu’s face immediately turned livid.
He grasped why the black "soil" beneath his feet felt so strange.
Stepping down, it didn’t feel like stepping on earth, but instead like stepping into a cotton pile, sinking every step, with masses of "dust" swirling upwards.
What is this soil?
Clearly, it’s the decomposition of these plants covering the ground completely!
And very likely not just soil.
Also... creatures!
Suddenly, Lu Wenwu recalled the eerie black mist he saw earlier in the Void.
Is this the evil presence described by the Eye of True Sight?
Lu Wenwu condensed his Divine Sense into a "line" about half a meter wide, extending it as far as possible, then scanning radially like a radar with himself at the center.
Five seconds later, his heart sank.
Within a hundred miles, it is all the same...
The spiritual qi is sparse to the point of near absence, and there is no sign of life.
After pondering for a moment, the Nether Yin Dragon Wings burst out behind Lu Wenwu, and the whole person soared into the sky. He picked a direction at random and flew out using the Fleeting Shadow technique.
Hundred miles...
Thousand miles...
Ten thousand miles...
Lu Wenwu’s flying speed increased further after condensing the Purgatory Dragon Body. At full speed, he covered ten thousand miles in an extremely short period.
Gray, eternally unchanging.
Silence, still silence.
Lu Wenwu flew at least thirty thousand miles.
Besides the occasional rotten tree, he found absolutely no other scenery.
It seemed as if this place was a copy-and-paste job, with jagged rocks everywhere and oppressive gray-blackness all around.
Lu Wenwu detected a strange erosive force in the air.
This force was constantly eradicating all organic matter here.
Only spiritual power could barely resist it somewhat.
Finally, when Lu Wenwu’s straight flight distance approached forty thousand miles, he finally discovered something different!
It was a stone structure, half-collapsed!
There were traces of human carving!
Even though the simple stone building appeared empty under his divine sense, it was still exciting.
Lu Wenwu increased his speed, continuing to blaze forward.
As he traveled further, more and more structures with human traces started to appear.
Most of these buildings showed little technical skill, constructed with stacked large stone blocks like stone matchboxes.
Not aesthetically pleasing, but functional for living.
The further he went, the more of these simple buildings gathered.
Unfortunately, besides the stone, nothing else remained.
This monotony persisted until Lu Wenwu flew another twenty thousand miles forward.
He had almost reached the end of this little world!
At the end, those gray stone houses disappeared. A mountain entirely artificially constructed stood there, towering in the silent vast wilderness.
Lu Wenwu suddenly felt a surge of excitement.
On this mountain, the glow of an array still flickered, holding the world’s last spirit vein within.
This meant that the pervasive erosive force was intercepted!
Thank goodness!
This place should contain some complete human artifacts!
Buoyed by excitement, Lu Wenwu carefully descended.
The identity recognition function of the still-operational Mountain Protection Array was still in effect.
Lu Wenwu sensed another wave scan over him, the array letting him through without interception.
With his feet on the mountain, spiritual qi finally returned to levels typical of the Cultivation Realm, comparable to the Mortal Realm.
Lu Wenwu looked up at the gigantic hall, the only one on the mountain, aged and somewhat damaged. The faded vermilion door bore four imposing characters.
Cyan Profound Sword Sect!
After so many years, Lu Wenwu could still feel the astonishing sword intent contained in those four characters.
Taking a deep breath, he stepped onto the broken White Jade Tier and pushed open the hall doors, the interior view causing his breath to catch, as a decaying atmosphere hit him face on.
Skeletons!
Skeletons everywhere!
Skeletons wearing the robes of the Cyan Profound Sword Sect lay scattered inside the hall, the magical robes long rotted into rags, the magical artifacts eroded into fragments.
Under these skeletons, bone fragments are densely packed.
Inside this seemingly endless hall, these bone fragments covered at least half a meter thick!
Looking closer, Lu Wenwu noticed a strange pale gray aura permeating each of these bones.
A step would cause them to shatter into dust like the ancient trees outside.
Standing in this space-expanded hall, possibly the last remaining hall in this little world, feeling the discomfort his body constantly transmitted, Lu Wenwu murmured softly.
"Damn it... Could it be that all the corpses of the world are gathered here..."
