Chapter 771: Chapter 374: Inside Revival (Two in One)_1

Upon entering the city, Chen Mo found an incredible number of local inhabitants. Furthermore, there was a sense of a grand mix of various races. It was indeed rare to witness so many different races coexisting harmoniously within one city-state. Their appearances, attire, and languages varied greatly, yet within this city, there seemed to be no barriers among them; instead, they genuinely interacted and integrated.

The streets were filled with people of different races, each showcasing their unique ways of life. Mighty beast-men and elegant elves conversed gracefully, diminutive dwarves and noble half-elves shared meals. These diverse scenes of life intertwined, forming a vibrant picture of multicultural coexistence.

In a small plaza, a dwarf blacksmith and a beast-man warrior were showcasing their crafting skills and weaponry to each other, drawing admiring gasps from the onlookers. Not far off, in a café, a group of half-elf artists collaborated on a magnificent painting, their ideas merging on the canvas to form a unique artistic style.

In a corner of the city, a restaurant emanated an enticing mixture of exotic aromas. An Elf chef diligently prepared delicious cuisine with carefully selected ingredients, while a gourmand from a dwarf tribe enthusiastically savored various delicacies. This was a melting pot of cultures and a feast for the taste buds.

The commercial street was filled with a multitude of items—from magic gems to ancient scrolls, they had everything imaginable. Merchants of various races enthusiastically called out to customers from their stalls. Communication, despite the linguistic diversity, seemed to be an entirely natural affair here.

In this city, Chen Mo felt a fusion of diverse cultures. There were no apparent boundaries between different races; they communicated and interacted within the shared cityscape. People here seemed to strive to maintain an attitude of openness and inclusiveness, allowing diversity to become one of the city’s most charming attributes.

After observing the various lifestyles of the different racial groups in the city, Chen Mo quickly found a vendor selling maps. The vendor had dark, coppery skin and resembled a dark elf with human-like features.

As soon as he saw Chen Mo, the Destined One, enter his shop, the vendor immediately greeted him warmly. “Honored Destined One, how may I assist you?” The handsome dark elf approached Chen Mo, his face wreathed in smiles.

“I need maps of the second and third regions of the World of Heavenly Element. Do you have them?”

“Yes, we do. However, our map for the third region is not very comprehensive and only covers part of the area. Would you still like to purchase it?”

“Some is better than none. I’ll take them all. How much are they?”

“Out of respect for you being a Destined One, it’ll be 10 eternal gold coins.”

“That’s quite cheap. Thank you then.” Chen Mo casually handed over ten eternal gold coins to the vendor.

“Please come again.”

Chen Mo smiled and nodded, mentally noting the shop. Following the information on the map, he immediately used Divine Flicker to teleport to the location of the Holy Mother Spring Water in the second region.

Holy Mother Spring Water was usually sold from a Temple of the Holy Mother. To obtain it, one had to go to a Temple of the Holy Mother. According to the map, the second region contained three Temples of the Holy Mother—one dedicated to the Mother of the Land, another to the Mother of Dawn, and the last one to the Mother of the Darkness.

Chen Mo considered his profession. After all, his profession had elements of darkness. He decided to go to the Dark Mother Temple.

As Chen Mo used Divine Flicker to arrive, he found that the so-called Dark Mother Temple was not as dark as its name suggested. On the contrary, the temple structures were filled with vitality. The towering building complexes, predominantly white jade in color, had walls inlaid with gemstones that shimmered with a mysterious yet brilliant light. The temple’s gardens were neatly trimmed, with blooming flowers whose fragrance wafted through the air, creating a tranquil and beautiful scene.

Chen Mo looked around and saw practitioners of various professions bustling about within the temple: those with unusual abilities, dark mages, shadow assassins, and others. Some were practicing spells, releasing dark element Energy that permeated the air with a mysterious aura. Others were in the temple’s library, studying ancient magic scriptures and exploring the mysteries of Dark Magic.

In the center of the temple stood a tall platform, upon which was a statue of the Mother of the Darkness. The Mother of the Darkness was a sculpted female figure with blurred features. She was cloaked in a black robe, her countenance mysterious and majestic. In her hand, she held a black gemstone that flickered with a profound light. The statue radiated a solemn aura, a fusion of dark and mysterious powers.

The practitioners inside the temple were engrossed in their cultivation and work, yet the overall atmosphere was far from dreary. People laughed as they exchanged experiences and shared knowledge, fostering a joyful atmosphere of cooperation and unity.

Although the “Dark Mother Temple” had “darkness” in its title, it was, in fact, a vibrant and sunny place. Practitioners of all professions came together here, pursuing enhanced power and knowledge, which created a unique and harmonious atmosphere.

Just as Chen Mo arrived, he was noticed. Two people immediately looked his way, and one of them said, “Excuse me, friend. The area around our temple is a Flying-Restricted Zone; flying is prohibited here.”
