Fifty years ago, the First Red Moon appeared which changed Earth forever.On that night, tattoos across the world transformed into mysterious Divine Runes, granting their owners supernatural Talents.

Dimensional Gates followed soon after, bringing Dungeons and monsters. Humanity adapted. Awakeners became the pillars of civilization and an an enigmatic realm known as the Beyond became humanity's second battlefield.

Jet was born fifty years too late. Like countless others born after the First Red Moon, he could only watch the Awakened from below.

Then, when Jet was eighteen, the impossible happened. The Red Moon appeared for the second time. Every person carrying a tattoo was given another chance to awaken a Divine Rune.

Jet had none. He missed the greatest opportunity in human history by a single tattoo. Ten years later, still an ordinary man in a world ruled by the Awakened, Jet died protecting his little sister during a devastating Dimensional Impact.

But death wasn't the end.

Jet opened his eyes again, he was eighteen, exactly one month before the Second Red Moon. Armed with a decade of future knowledge about Divine Runes and their hidden laws, Jet emptied his savings, buried himself in debt, researched myths and legends from across human history and commissioned ten unique tattoos–ten concepts chosen specifically for their terrifying potential.
