Chapter 813: Chapter 546: Moonlight Turns Out to Be Her Highness Princess

CRACK...

CRACK...

A teeth-setting sound of shattering bones echoed faintly from deep within its throat. The entire process was effortless, brimming with a primitive, bloody beauty.

Standing on Lightning’s back, Raylo took in the whole scene. His heart gave an uncontrollable, violent thud.

This was a pure display of predator and prey! These Domain Level Mouse Dragons, which could have wreaked absolute havoc in the outside world, were nothing more than captive rations for this Catastrophe Level Silver Dragon here in the Wailing Forest!

After swallowing two Mouse Dragons, the thousand-meter-long Silver Dragon paused slightly. Its massive head, comparable to a small mountain, slowly turned around. Those pale golden eyes, like two freezing Suns, pierced through the thousand-meter distance and landed with absolute precision on Raylo and Lightning beneath his feet.

BOOM!

A pressure several times stronger than before locked onto them! It was the scrutiny of an overlord at the very top of the food chain.

Cold. Indifferent.

Under this gaze, Lightning’s hundred-meter-long Thunder Dragon body trembled uncontrollably. Coal Ball’s black fur stood on end; it pressed tightly against Raylo’s shoulder, letting out uneasy whimpers.

The atmosphere grew unimaginably heavy.

Just then, Moonlight, who had been resting on Raylo’s shoulder, moved. She slowly stood up. Her soft white fur fluttered without any wind, her usual lazy demeanor completely swept away. In its place was an aura of chilling deadliness. Raising her head, her pale golden eyes fearlessly met the gaze of the thousand-meter-long Silver Dragon.

"Roar?" Moonlight let out a low croon.

Immediately after, she shot into the sky from his shoulder!

BUZZ!

A cluster of silver brilliance erupted, centered around her tiny body! Within the light, her form rapidly expanded and elongated!

A streamlined body! Scales reflecting the Moonlight! Long silver horns with spiral patterns! Enormous Dragon Wings sparkling with starlight!

In a mere blink of an eye, a vigorous Silver Dragon over three hundred meters long replaced the large white cat in midair!

Moonlight had revealed her true form! Her Dragon Mighty was released without reservation, engaging in a silent airborne standoff against the terrifying aura of the thousand-meter-long Silver Dragon!

A thousand meters away, the colossal Silver Dragon clearly froze. For the first time, a distinct ripple of emotion appeared in its indifferent eyes.

It was... surprise! It seemingly had no idea that a member of its own kind was hiding among these intruders!

After a brief silence, a thunderous roar echoed through the heavens and the earth!

However, that roar was not filled with the brutality and killing intent that Raylo had anticipated. On the contrary, the emotions within it were incredibly complex. It carried shock, excitement, and even a trace of doubt.

Raylo froze. He wondered, "What is going on? Why does the atmosphere feel a bit weird?"

Beneath him, Lightning’s massive body remained tense, letting out uneasy, low growls from its throat. Clearly, the oppressive presence brought by the thousand-meter-long Silver Dragon was still as heavy as physical weight. Yet, the anticipated attack never came.

After letting out that single roar, the gigantic Silver Dragon fell silent. Its pale golden eyes, like freezing Suns, stared unblinkingly at Moonlight. The emotions in its gaze shifted constantly, as if trying to confirm something.

Moonlight hovered in the air as well. Her three-hundred-meter-long body looked somewhat petite compared to the other party. However, her aura was not weak in the slightest. Her Catastrophe Level Dragon Mighty was released without holding back, standing toe-to-toe with the behemoth in the sky. Her pale golden eyes were equally filled with vigilance and confusion.

"Roar?" Moonlight let out another low, questioning rumble. She also had no idea what this frighteningly large kin of hers wanted to do.

Right at that moment, BUZZ!

An invisible wave of Spiritual Power spread out like a tide from the thousand-meter-long Silver Dragon.

It was a spiritual communication!

Raylo’s heart tightened. The most direct method of communication between Catastrophe Level creatures was spiritual communication. Such an exchange was far more efficient than spoken language, capable of transmitting much more complex and direct information and emotions.

He could not eavesdrop on their exchange. He could only watch as Moonlight, enveloped by that Spiritual Power, violently jerked her massive body. The vigilance and confusion in her eyes were instantly replaced by a much more intense emotion—sheer astonishment.

Moonlight’s emotional fluctuations were vaguely transmitted into Raylo’s mind through their Spiritual Link. It felt chaotic, like a tangled ball of yarn. Clearly, she had received information that left her utterly shocked, perhaps even unable to comprehend.

Raylo’s heart leaped into his throat. He wondered, "Just what... was said?"

Time seemed to stretch out in that moment. Every second became agonizingly slow. Down in the hilly nests below, the Mouse Dragons that had luckily escaped death buried their heads in their burrows, shivering violently, not daring to make the slightest sound.

The entire Wailing Forest was dead silent. Only the two Silver Dragons with vastly different sizes engaged in a soundless exchange high up in the sky.

Finally, the waves of Spiritual Power slowly receded. Moonlight remained hovering in place, as if she still hadn’t recovered from the sheer volume of information she had just received. Her pale golden eyes, uncharacteristically out of focus, looked somewhat vacant.

"Moonlight?" Raylo couldn’t help but call out softly through their Spiritual Link.

Moonlight did not reply immediately. A few seconds later, her massive body twitched slightly, and her vacant gaze refocused. She slowly turned her head and looked at Raylo.

The next second, a jumbled stream of information flooded into Raylo’s mind. It was the content of the spiritual communication she had just had with the Catastrophe Level Silver Dragon, passed back by Moonlight.

The moment Raylo received this information, he was equally shocked. He thought, "What? What did I just hear?"

He blinked hard, wondering if he was hallucinating from being too nervous. He sorted through the information Moonlight had sent back once again.

There was no mistake... The message was crystal clear and unmistakable.

The thousand-meter-long Silver Dragon called itself Silver Moon Blade. It was one of the strongest guards under the command of the Silver Dragon Queen of the Silver Dragon Race.

And it... It referred to Moonlight as...

Her Highness Princess! The Silver Dragon Princess! ℯℯ𝑙.

Moonlight... was the Silver Dragon Princess?!

That lazy dragon who only knew how to eat and sleep all day, the one who would transform into a large cat to act spoiled and roll around in his arms for no reason, was actually the princess of the Silver Dragon Race?

This... How could this be possible!

He instinctively looked at Moonlight. She was also looking at him, her pale golden eyes filled with the exact same bewilderment and loss as his. Clearly, she had been completely dumbfounded by this sudden revelation of her identity as well.

What princess?

According to Silver Moon Blade, a millennium ago, the Silver Dragon Race encountered a catastrophe known as the "Moonfall." During that disaster, the Silver Dragon Queen of that era used up her final shreds of Power to protect the last remaining bloodlines, escorting a portion of her people and the fallen Moon Remains deep into the Endless Forest Sea.

As for Silver Moon Blade, serving as the Queen’s guard, it was separated from the tribe during that calamity. Heavily injured, it ended up stranded on this Continent. It slumbered for a long age, only waking up not too long ago.

The reason it hadn’t left was because it was waiting. Waiting for a slim sliver of hope. Waiting for the aura of the royal bloodline to appear once more.

It was waiting for the new queen of the Silver Dragon Race to reemerge, lead the Silver Dragon Race, lift the Moon Remains lost deep in the Endless Forest Sea once again, and raise the homeland of the Silver Dragon Race back into the sky.

And Moonlight was exactly the contemporary, solitary... princess of the Silver Dragon Race!

Silver Moon Blade had confirmed her identity through the unique royal bloodline within Moonlight. To any descendant of the Silver Dragon Race, that bloodline aura was like a beacon in the dark night, so clear and distinct that it could never be mistaken!

Raylo’s breathing grew incredibly heavy. Moonlight was a princess! His companion was actually the noble Silver Dragon Princess!

What did this mean? It meant that the suffocatingly powerful Catastrophe Level Silver Dragon before him was not only not an enemy...

But instead... it was on their side!

While Raylo’s mind was racing, the gigantic Silver Dragon with a body over a thousand meters long slowly folded its sky-obscuring Dragon Wings. Its massive head, comparable to a small mountain, slowly lowered itself.

It was a posture of submission. It was a guard paying the highest respect to the Monarch it was sworn to protect.

"Silver Moon Blade..." it murmured reverently. "Pays respects to... Her Highness Princess!"
