Chapter 538: Battle Tower Ranking (Part-1)

The servant didn’t seem surprised, as many came to the Hall of Heroes just to try the Battle Tower.

She nodded and led him towards the Battle Tower. The Battle Tower was massive, more than hundreds of metres tall, and a mysterious aura surrounded it.

He silently paid the entry fee; it wasn’t free, but the fee was relatively low because they wanted more warriors to come and try it.

The place was quite lively, even though very rarely someone manages to get into the ranking in millions of years. More people just came here to try to see their improvement.

And especially for a place like Silver Lake City, there was never a person who ranked in the transcendent or Supreme ranking. Only it said once the City Lord in younger times barely managed to get into the sub-transcendent ranking.

The sub-rankings are the rankings based on the state. The human realm is divided into 72 states. And the sub-rankings are the rankings for the strongest ones within the state.

The sub ranking also can have up to a million names, so it is countless times easier to get into it.

And the city lord of Silver Lake City managed to get into the transcendent sub-ranking in his younger days. But even then, he barely crossed the million ranking and reached 999,103rd rank.

Still, it shocked everyone and the surrounding cities near Silver Lake City. Apollo was looking forward to seeing what the battle tower would bring out.

He wanted to see what level the strongest beings of the human realm had reached. He was confident in his strength, but he wasn’t going to be careless.

Apollo couldn’t wait anymore and entered the Battle Tower. Nobody cared about him when he entered, as every day, even if not thousands, hundreds of people tried to challenge the Battle Tower in Silver Lake City.

The moment he entered the Battle Tower immediately, the space around him seemed to change, and he seemed to appear in outer space with countless stars shining. And then a voice echoed.

[The first battle will begin in ten seconds. Be prepared.]

Those three challenges can be considered the qualification battle to determine whether you are worthy to challenge the true geniuses. And they were quite difficult, as most didn’t even manage to defeat their first opponent.

He waited calmly, and quickly ten seconds passed, and then finally his opponent started to materialise right in front of him.

The first opponent wasn’t human, but it seemed to be some bull-like beast with flames burning on its four legs.

"Moo!"

The fiery bull didn’t waste a moment. It immediately charged towards Apollo, each heavy step creating scorching tornadoes of flame that swept across the surrounding space.

Apollo was calm; he could roughly guess the strength of this bull. It was at the peak of the third-order transcendent realm, but it was alright, not much stronger than an ordinary third-order transcendent, even though it looks quite ferocious.

He didn’t even bother to dodge. He simply stood still and allowed the bull to ram into him.

BOOM!

The collision produced a tremendous explosion. Yet the devastation everyone might have expected never occurred.

The fiery bull’s charge came to an abrupt halt. It had collided with Apollo, but he hadn’t moved even an inch.

The enormous beast remained frozen in place, completely unable to push him backwards. Apollo’s small body in front of the bull appeared like nothing, but that small body was like an immovable mountain to the bull monster.

"Alright, that’s enough for you."

Boom!

Apollo said calmly, and without the bull monster even understanding anything, it exploded and shattered into bits of energy, disappearing into the Battle Tower, ending the first battle in a matter of a few seconds.

[The first battle ended; the second battle will begin in ten seconds.]

Immediately, the voice rang again, giving only ten seconds to prepare. Apollo didn’t even use 1% of his strength, so it didn’t matter as he calmly waited for the second opponent to be manifested.

Quickly, the second the opponent also materialised, and in his time, it wasn’t some monster but a human third-order peak transcendent.

He looked at the figure with interest; his aura clearly had more depth than the bull monster. And waited for him to make his move.

The human projected transcendent didn’t wait and, like the bull monster, made his move. Immediately, a bow appeared in his hand, and then he fired arrows at him.

Seeing this, Apollo’s eyes glowed a bit; the moment it fired arrows, the arrows seemed to disappear and appear right behind him. The power of the arrows was also terrifying, as it seemed to contain terrifying penetrating power to shatter planets.

He understood that this human archer had a good understanding of the rules of space and also understood some rules of penetration and combined them to create a transcendent divine ability of archery.

It was a good divine ability and difficult to tackle for most peak third-order transcendent, but he wasn’t an ordinary transcendent. His physique already surpassed most supreme, so the attacks at the transcendent level couldn’t do anything to him.
