For actors like them, unless they were on a proper, long break, when they worked it was basically around the clock.

Shooting at three or four in the morning was completely normal.

"Then how should I talk to you?" Huo Jinyan asked with a laugh. "Should I be all serious and ask, have you eaten today? What did you eat for breakfast? What did you eat for lunch? Drink more hot water? Do you like hearing that kind of thing?"

Qin Shen Shen shook her head. "No."

No girl would like that.

Though, if it were someone you liked, even the most boring lines would feel sweet.

"Then if I say, I miss you a lot, I like you a lot, would you be willing to hear that?" Huo Jinyan tested the waters, his words hovering on the edge of a confession.
