Qin Shen Shen looked at him. "What about me?"

"These days... has any guy asked you out?" Huo Jinyan asked in what seemed like a casual tone, but he was actually pretty nervous.

"Huh?" That was something Qin Shen Shen hadn’t expected at all, hadn’t even remotely thought about.

"Open it and see." Huo Jinyan had just come back from France; he’d bought it in a small town there.

Qin Shen Shen opened the box. Inside was a wooden woven bracelet, very special.

"Do you like it?" Huo Jinyan was actually looking forward to her reaction.

"I like it." It was something her God had picked out for her, so of course she was delighted.

"I’ll put it on for you." Huo Jinyan picked up the bracelet and slipped it directly onto Qin Shen Shen’s wrist.

The bracelet really wasn’t expensive, and it was precisely because it wasn’t that he gave it to Qin Shen Shen.

Of course, it wasn’t that he was being stingy, nor that he thought she didn’t deserve something better, but because he knew that if it was too expensive, she wouldn’t accept it.
