Chapter 801 Dustspark [Top 5 Golden Ticket Bonus]
Chapter 801 Dustspark [Top 5 Golden Ticket Bonus]
The fact that he was unable to get the Aether Treasure was a huge blow that he wouldn’t be able to easily get over. But truth be told, he should have already accepted this.
He had entered with only 40 million or so Hero Points. Just entry to gain access to an Aether Treasure had cost over 10 billion, and even with how much she was willing to spend, Nyssa certainly couldn’t afford such a caliber of Treasure.
Aether Treasures were too powerful and important, let alone Ancient Aether Treasures.
The more Sylas learned about these matters, the more he found it odd that the Thryskai had made this a competition instead of just handing it to Ulrik. And all that considered, why Ulrik in the first place?
Everything seemed to suggest that Ulrik wasn’t a big shot amongst the Thryskai, so why was so much effort being placed on him?
Could his lineage outstrip his talent? Maybe Sylas was underestimating just how much the Thryskai were willing to invest into one of their own regardless of rank? Or maybe… there was something going on here that he didn’t have full comprehension of.
Sylas pressed these thoughts down.
He didn’t have the time to waste on them.
A focused flame flickered in his eyes as he focused on the first treasure.

[Dustspark Viper Dungeon Key (???) (Dungeon Key)]

Strings of question marks filled Sylas’ vision. There were no explanations, no descriptions, no hints as to the challenge he would face at all.
A Dungeon Key was a Treasure that spoke for itself. It opened up a portal to another world’s Dungeon, allowing one to challenge it from anywhere within a certain radius.
Sometimes, extremely famous Dungeons would have extended openings thanks to the help of certain Treasures. As a result, they could be cleared again and again, and farmed for their resources.
In such situations, the world in question where this Dungeon resided would sell these Dungeon Keys, allowing outsiders to enter and gain a tidy sum as a result.
For obvious reasons… this was an insane decision by Sylas.
The original cost of this Dungeon Key alone was the exact same as his price of entry into the challenge against Ulrik and Lorien. In fact, it was over the ten billion cost.
And the moment Sylas saw it, he knew he had to have it.
Sylas pulled the key out of the air with his telekinesis, forming a line of connection with it through Aetherflow and twisting it.
There was a ripple that passed through the air and soon a portal spread out.
**
An hour later, Sylas stood in silence, corpses littered around him. There was a deathly stillness as sparks of lightning raced across a desert surface, spontaneously racing across the land.
Sylas himself was in the air, the corpse of an enormous yellow and brown serpent dangling from the slightly curved tips of his fingers.

[The world is complex, but the rigid order of a Dungeon is where you thrive the most.]
[+50% ALL Stats when entering a Dungeon of Classic Rank or Lower]
—
Classic Rank Dungeons were Dungeons ranked in the top 1000 of a District at a given level.
Above Classic Rank Dungeons were Dungeons that were top million in a Galaxy, and these were known as Mythic Rank Dungeons. Beyond these were Epic Rank Dungeons that were top hundred thousand in a Galaxy, then Ascendent Rank that were top 10,000 in a Galaxy.
Finally, there were Eternal Rank and Titan Rank, referring to top 1000 and top 100 in a Galaxy.
There were Dungeon Ranks beyond this that took into account larger scopes than just Galaxies alone, but even Mythic Rank Dungeons were beyond Sylas for now, let alone beyond the Galaxy level.
However, these things weren’t on Sylas’ mind right now in the slightest.
He ignored the rewards of the Dungeons for a moment, and instead focused on two things.
The number of Genes he had collected.
The flashing notification screen before him.
The number of Genes was enough to make a man’s eye pop, not because of their quantity, but because of their quality.
Every run netted Sylas 231 Silver Genes. He didn’t know what that meant about the shocking strength of the beasts inside because he couldn’t see their stats.
But what he did know was that it didn’t matter in the slightest.
Not when the Dungeon was filled with F-Grade Serpentes that could only bow before his Vipermancer Beast Totem.
In the end, he had accumulated 693 Silver Genes. But more importantly than that, he had also claimed three Comprehensions, and a dense vat of Blood and Bone Essence.
All of that would be extremely useful for when he triggered his second Treasure.

[Body Essence Refinement (???) (Secret)]
[???]
—
When he chose this, Nyssa had tried to warn him. It turned out that this body refinement method required a large amount of Blood Essence and Bone Essence. But the problem was that the accumulation of these was even more expensive than the 20 billion Hero Point Secret technique itself…
Unless you were Sylas Brown.
This would be perfect to use while he was dealing with this notification.

[You have displayed a tenacious Will and a sharp intent for battle, but you are missing the final piece to your power. Following the Path of another is easy, following your own is much more difficult.]
[The word Mancer has a storied history, deeper than you know. There are many complex definitions but it can be boiled down to a single word: Control]

Sylas hardly spared the Legendary Reward Requirements a single glance. As far as he was concerned, it was already a foregone conclusion.
His focus at the moment was enough to make the best of the world feel a shudder ripple through their soul.
Sylas pulled out three Dustspark Viper corpses at once and then picked one. This would require the sacrifice of one of his Comprehensions, but it was just fine.
For this… he picked the first of the three as it was the weakest of them all.
Then, his body convulsed.
It was time to form his Gold Class.

[Class: Throne of Glassvolt Heir]

Sparks flew through the air, tendrils of lightning bouncing off the mirror-like surfaces of gorgeous Glass.
