Chapter 1835: Titans Leaderboard

Chapter 1835: Titans Leaderboard

"Wouldn't you like to know," Cassarae said with a sneer after a moment of being stun-locked.

Sylas looked at her for a long time in silence. It was hard to imagine how someone who had another so firmly gripping their collar could somehow also seem so intimidating at the same time, but Cassarae was all too used to Sylas by now. And she had not the slightest fear of him, especially not when this coldness wasn't even directed at her in the first place.

Even so, whether it was Old Brama or any of the others, they found themselves holding their breaths. The only few that seemed to be going about their business as normal were Cassarae, Isolde, and Elara-the last of whom was looking around for some popcorn she could eat to enjoy the show better.

Cassarae's hand moved and she held up a middle finger right between Sylas' brows, still holding onto his collar with the other. She seemed to derive more satisfaction from leaving him in the dark than anything else.

Clearly, he wasn't taking her threats seriously. Unfortunately for him, though, she was truly a vindictive bitch. And she loved that about herself.

Sylas pushed his chair and stood.

Cassarae had always been on the taller side for a woman. She also didn't shy away from high platform shoes, whether that was heels or, more recently out of necessity, thick combat boots. Even now, she wore a pair of black elevated boots that looked like a military-high-heel combination with a thick black sole.

However, even with them and the fact she was over six feet tall herself, Sylas towered over her and somehow appeared even larger than the space reality left for him.

Her hand located itself tilting up to keep up with his height change, and by the time he placed a gentle hand on her knuckles and moved it away, it was like she had lost all strength in it.

Sylas wasn't looking at Cassarae any longer, though.

[Horizon Scepter (Legendary) (Horizon Treasure)]

[Abilities: Horizon Sight; Horizon Travel]

[Place sights on any location in Milky Way Horizon]

[Teleport to any location in Milky Way Horizon]

[Return to Milky Way Horizon from any location in Skai Heaven]

The scepter shimmered so brightly that not a single soul present but Sylas himself could look at it directly. It almost looked like he was holding a beam of light the same way Zeus might hold a bolt of lightning.

Sylas' eyes glazed over as he leapt from one location he thought of to another. But even as he went from the headquarters of the Petals of the Seeing Thorn, to the Leava Clan, and even then to branches of the Thryskai, he didn't find anything out of the ordinary.

Sylas went through them again. This time paying much more attention than before.

He realized quickly that many powers had protections against what he was doing right this moment, a veil of sorts that protected them against being looked into from afar.

The Thryskai, despite being on the weaker side in this Sector specifically, had the strongest protections. This was a bit of a surprise because their main base wasn't in this Sector. They were the equivalent of branch Clans.

Sylas bet that if he tried to use the scepter against the main Kaelthar Clan, not only would it be blocked, it would probably be detected and there might be backlash involved.

That said, while the Milky Way Sector could be a bit murky at times, and the Milky Way Horizon even harder to see through completely, there was no place in the Milky Way Galaxy that Sylas couldn't see through.

His eyes narrowed even in their glazed-over state and he turned his focus to their galaxy itself.

The Trakar were in a mess after the death of their Patriarch. It seemed that after losing not only the Patriarch, but the obvious Heir Apparent, they had descended into chaos.

They were too busy fighting amongst themselves to have time to deal any sort of blow to Cassarae.

The Thryskai were oddly silent. They had even less protection than the Thryskai in the wider Sector, so Sylas felt that he could peer into what they were doing a little bit. But even so, there didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary around them at all.

It had to be remembered that the Kaelthar had spread far and wide, so they had branches within the Milky Way Galaxy as well. In fact, before Sylas, it was a Kaelthar who had been number one on the Skai Galaxy Titans Leaderboard.

But they didn't seem to be doing much of anything right now. In fact, they seemed to be actively keeping a low profile like they had received some sort of orders.

And then there was the Florineth. Of the three big Races of the galaxy, the Florineth were the third. But they, too, had lost their Matriarch and their Heiress Apparent, Soryntha.

Another Race basically brought to the brink of chaos because of Sylas.

Much like the Trakar, there seemed to be a lot of infighting going on. But it was more sinister and underhanded. Sylas could practically see the dense Poison Runes hanging in the air.

But there wasn't anything that stood out as something that would have directly impacted Cassarae.

Sylas' eyes narrowed.

The Valentrix.

The Valentrix were a Race that Sylas had never interacted with before. They were quite silent and low-key. However...

[Skai Galaxy Titans Leaderboard]

[1. Xalor Celeste | Lv. 50 | (Valentrix)]

If Sylas recalled correctly, this name had been eighth the first time he saw this list. Back then he had been in 13th

place.

Now, he was no longer an F-tier, so he wouldn't appear on this list anymore. And this Xalor had taken first place.

That was very odd considering two things.

For one, even though Sylas had killed many in the top ten, he hadn't cleared out them all. And after checking the E- tier list, none of them had progressed to E-tier yet either.

And two...

Why was there only a single Valentrix in the entire top 50?
