Chapter 1646 Success
Chapter 1646 Success
Sylas’ momentum was so violent, waves of the armies were blown back. Demons began to spontaneously combust, their simulated Runes unable to withstand it in the slightest.
Robareda covered her eyes with a forearm, an expression of what could have only been fear flickering in the depths of her irises.
She had never seen a man like this in her life. She had only ever heard of them from a far-off distance-individuals who broke the common conventions so thoroughly that what made sense for the common folk and even the geniuses amongst said commoners could never be applied to them.
However… all these men she had heard of were members of legendary S-Grade Races, people who lived in a Heaven so far from their own, even the Emperor Sanctum never came into contact with them, let alone they as subordinates of the Emperor Sanctum.
Sylas’ Aether Pathways roared, his Foundation quaking. One pulsing wave after another extended from his body, and with each one, his Physical stats increased by another 10,000 stat points.
From 270,000 to 280,000.From 280,000 to 290,000.From 290,000 to 300,000.
Every step forward compressed the earth beneath him further. The simulation cratered and shook on its very foundations, and Nosphaleen, who was trying her best to keep up, found her Will shaking so violently she thought it might collapse.
She closed her eyes tightly.
Elbrum had relaxed somewhat after receiving word the Emperor Sanctum was coming. It was a feeling that filled him with disgust the moment he had it. It didn’t make sense for him to feel like this about a mere F-tier.
Why did he need the Sanctum? He should be capable of handling this alone, so why was he feeling like a weight had been taken off his shoulders?
Yet, there was no denying he had relaxed. He could lie to others, but he couldn’t lie to himself.
However, all of a sudden, his feeling of uneasiness came back.
“Something is wrong.”
He spoke out subconsciously before he even understood himself what the problem might be—or that there was even a problem at all, for that matter.
When he looked over to Deacon and the Emperor Lizard, he realized they felt the same exact way.
A pair of illusory wings appeared behind Deacon and he suddenly flashed out of the skybox, appearing high in the skies. Almost no one noticed his actions… except for the B-tiers of the highest-ranking Sanctums. They looked up into the skies, peering through the layers of protection on their various holdings with a frown on their faces as well.
They could all feel it.
They felt as though something was being taken away from them, but they couldn’t explain how that was.
But what was particularly shocking about it all was that while they did feel that something was being taken away, they didn’t feel like it was being stolen… It felt like they were handing it over willingly.
When the realization hit them, all of their eyes opened wide at the same time.
They knew what was happening.
“NO!”
Elbrum roared, but it was too late. He was just a D-tier. He didn’t have control over this at all.
Sylas’ roar into the skies sounded like a deity was touching down from above. Memories of Gogo’s Ancestor danced in his mind.
He tapped into that anguish, that pain, that harmed Pride.
And it forced him to evolve further.
The octave of his roar grew deeper, fuller, and the world was only split apart all the more, his Virtue of Pride Seed thrumming with a dense, unbridled majesty.
His Primus Luminaria Crown stacked atop his Primus Imperium Crown. His Dominus Paragon Crown stacked atop them both.
And then came another Crown, one that seemed to radiate from Sylas’ own heart-a Crown that erupted from the depths of his own Pride, one that couldn’t be granted to him by anyone else.
BANG. BANG. BANG.
SHUUUU.
All of the surrounding Aether from the entire simulation surged into Sylas’ body. All at once, the world fell into complete silence, one Demon after another crumbling to ash as every Wave was wiped out at the same exact time.

Sylas’ eyes cleared and the pain he was experiencing slowly faded away as nothing but clarity was left in his wake.
‘Mm. Seems I succeeded.’
Absolute turmoil took over the outside world as Elbrum realized what Sylas had done.
In the depths of an unknown star, a man chained by amethyst links, his arms splayed apart, suddenly awoke.
Gralith’s eyes shone bright as his arms flexed, shattering the chains to pieces.
