Chapter 1393: Zolte Kaelthar (2) [Bonus]

[Bonus chapter thanks to Chronotitan <3]

Sylas’ Scorpion Warlord Armor was sliced to ribbons, the lashes cutting into his flesh and blood, down to even his bone.

However, his expression hardly changed in the slightest. The Skill was powerful, but it was clear at a glance to him that Zolte had only learned it very recently.

It was likely only there for the purpose of mimicking the Bat Lineage, which likely had a similar Skill. It seemed that the Bat Lineage didn’t want to shed all pretenses of cordiality. If they made it too obvious that Zolte wasn’t even one of their own, then they would be far too heavy-handed.

Unfortunately for Zolte, that was also limiting him in the Skills he could use. The reason he had brought out his Comprehension so early on was precisely because of that.

He couldn’t rely on the smaller and more manageable abilities he would usually use, so he had to jump the gun a bit.

That was only yet another reason they were far too foolish.

To face Sylas while having to hold back… it was simply openly asking for death.

Sylas’ body landed heavily, his Armor having been shattered to pieces, his body wading around in waterfalls of its own blood.

Zolte had already capitalized, closing the distance and swinging down the halberd with a mighty momentum.

Sylas’ Scorpion Warlord Armor appeared again instantaneously, as though it had never been shattered in the first place.

Several Warlords felt their eyes sharpen. This sort of speed… to say it was abnormal didn’t do it justice. However, it wasn’t enough. It had already been destroyed once; it would simply be destroyed again— The words had only just left their lips when Sylas’ body sparked again. But this time… there was just something about it that was so very different from the last time.

Aether.

An Aether coming from the depths of Sylas’ body rather than one produced by the Armor alone.

The Aether sparked to life, and a shield formed before Sylas.

[Glassvolt Prism Arts].

Sylas slammed a palm into the ground, forming one shield after another as he accelerated back.

But it was entirely unnecessary. He had formed five in the blink of an eye, but Zolte only made it through three of them before his momentum was completely stifled.

When Sylas first gained his Prism Art Gene Class Form, the casual creation of shields and weapons could only exert around 1,000 stat points of force before being destroyed. In this world, that was the equivalent of just a single stat point—too pitiful to even care to use.

But since then, Sylas had evolved several times, forming a Legendary Gene Class. And, on top of that… his body was filled with 100 Foundation Glassvolt Aether.

A single casual shield formed with a thought from this Gene Class Form, spontaneously formed by the world, easily had a true 10,000 stat points. Not of Earth… but this world.

Meaning, it was 10 million times stronger than it had once been, and Zolte couldn’t hope to make it past a third shield.

That wasn’t because three shields carried 30,000 stat points in defense, but also because the Glassvolt Aether continuously ate away at his Aether with every collision.

He wasn’t just facing 30,000 stat points in defense. It was more than threefold that when the poisonous characteristics were taken into account.

And that left two shields, hovering in the air like reflective emerald for only a moment before they morphed, with a thought, into a pair of halberds.

Sylas swapped from Mixed Demonic Arts to Madness.

[Madness (Bronze)] – Progenitor

The Madness consumes you, but does not control you. Instead, it becomes your tool to both control yourself and others. You, while steeped in Madness, maintain your wits about you. Your enemies, though, are not so lucky.

Instantly, Sylas’ telekinesis went from being able to exert a perfect 1,000 stat points to a perfect 11,000 stat points. However, he pulled on his Gluttony Seed and Lust Seed at the same time, increasing the amount of mass behind them from over a million kilograms to almost five million.

Sylas himself only weighed about 120 kilograms right now. The difference between him exerting that sort of Physical, and his telekinesis now, was akin to night and day.

BOOM. BOOM.

They rocketed against Zolte’s body like cannons, his eyes bulging as he spit out a mouthful of blood. The cracks in his bones sounded akin to echoes of thunder, his powerful body being sent flying across the marbled floors.

Sylas raised a hand, his Comprehension changing once again, this time to his Glassvolt Comprehension. His Intelligence increased by 950% on top of his already obscene Intelligence.

His Aether Pathways bulged, but happily took in the excess Aether that poured in from the world.

He could feel that every time he pushed his body under the presence of his Primus Imperium Conquest Title, it was forced to accommodate these new changes.

If he could even accept E-Grade Aether, what was 10x more F-Grade Aether?

Even if it was 100 Foundation, perfect F-Grade Aether.

When this realization hit the Warlords, their eyes all widened.

They had been wondering just why Sylas’ Aether made their hearts tremble the way it did.

This Aether… even a casual usage of it was so powerful.

How could an F-Grade Skill that wasn’t even at Legendary Mastery possibly display 10,000 stat points of strength like [Glassvolt Prism Arts] was right now?

The answer was Sylas’ self-made Rune.

This was why he was the Primus Imperium.

He was on a level all his own.

Chi.

A lance of Glassvolt formed. A beautiful cone-like construct formed of reflective green crystals that sparked with roaring bolts of emerald lightning that seemed to spontaneously shatter the world around it.

Chi.

Another lance formed on top of it, the two forming a network of Runes—a complex mesh that fed off of one another, learning and growing.

Chi.

Yet another formed.

Each one amplified the last as Sylas layered them, using the casting method he had learned could fuse his F-Grade and E-Grade Warlord Armors in his combat.

Suddenly, [Glassvolt Prism Arts] formed a Skill under the power of his +950% Intelligence that approached almost 100,000 Attack.

And then he launched it.
