Gene Domination: The Loli Who Devours Worlds
Chapter 217: Humanity's Hope!
The entire base was boiling with excitement.
As Gipsy Danger, its body battered, slowly walked back to the port, the tarmac was already crowded with people.
Technicians, logistics personnel, civilian officers, and even the kitchen chefs.
Everyone had run out, looking up at that steel giant covered in blue Kaiju blood.
“They’re back! They’re back!”
“Three! Those were three Level Four Kaiju!”
“Less than three minutes! All killed!”
Cheers, screams, and sounds of admiration rose one after another.
And when that petite figure stepped out of the cockpit and stood on Gipsy Danger’s shoulder—
The entire base fell silent for a split second.
Then, an even more frenzied cheer erupted!
“It’s her! That Little Girl!”
“Silver hair! It’s her!”
“A hero! She’s a hero for humanity!”
Lilith stood on the shoulder of the eighty-six-meter-tall mecha, her long silver-white hair fluttering in the sea breeze.
She looked down at the frantically cheering crowd below, blinking her eyes in a bit of a daze.
Hero?
Are they talking about her?
What Lilith didn’t know was—
During those three minutes of her battle, the footage had already been edited into a video and broadcast worldwide via satellite signals.
The violent aesthetics of those three punches killing Otachi.
The sheer brutality of using a Kaiju as a flail.
The precision of the triple-fire Plasma Cannon.
That heroic figure standing on the mecha’s shoulder with white hair flying—
Had already conquered everyone.
The current Lilith had long since become a global superstar!
…
Inside the base, Sterk personally led a group of high-ranking officers to welcome her.
The smile on his face was brighter than any Lilith had ever seen.
“Well done!”
He reached out and shook hands with Lilith.
“No, not just well done—it was magnificent!”
He let go and gestured for Lilith to talk as they walked.
“I’ve already arranged for people from Shao Industries to custom-build a mecha specifically tailored to your physical strength.”
His voice carried an irrepressible excitement.
“Combining all of humanity’s top technological power to design and complete a mecha isn’t difficult. If we operate at full capacity—it can be finished within a week!”
One week.
Lilith raised an eyebrow slightly.
That Speed was indeed fast enough.
“As for your ten companions—”
Sterk continued.
“Once your mecha is finished, theirs can be modeled after it. After all, with their physical fitness, they need the same type of mecha.”
The same type.
Lilith nodded, indicating she understood.
The “same type” Sterk mentioned was similar to what she had guessed—abandoning all protection, giving up lightweight materials that reduce the pilot’s load, and piling all resources into mass, hardness, and weight.
For such a mecha, once a pilot entered the cockpit and connected to the control exoskeleton, the weight borne by the body could reach several tons.
If an ordinary person connected to it, let alone driving it, they would simply be pinned in the cockpit, unable to move.
But a load of several tons was nothing to her and those ten Reincarnators.
And—
Once such a mecha moved, its kinetic energy would be far beyond what ordinary mecha could compare to.
Compared to mecha that had to compromise to balance various performances, this kind of extremely violent mecha was actually easier to manufacture.
Because it had no technical difficulties.
It’s not hard for humans to build a mecha.
The difficulty is how to let humans drive it at the minimum cost.
And now—
They had found people who didn’t need a minimum cost.
…
A lounge was specially prepared for Lilith.
The room wasn’t large, but it was clean and tidy.
A large bed, a wardrobe, a desk, and a computer.
Outside the window, the distant port and the azure sea could be seen.
Lilith lay lazily on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
Her long silver-white hair spread across the pillow like soft moonlight.
She stared at the ceiling, but her mind was racing.
The corpses of the three Kaiju she killed earlier had already been packed into her System Inventory.
One to submit the mission, the other two…
Lilith stuck out her small lilac tongue and licked her lips.
But she knew there was no rush to enjoy them now.
The System Inventory could stack items of the same type; these Kaiju corpses only took up one Storage space.
She’d wait until she had enough, then eat them all together.
She just wondered if the Precursors in the Wormhole would send more Kaiju this time.
If more came…
The corners of her mouth curled up slightly.
That would be even better.
However—
Lilith rolled over and lay prone on the bed, her chin resting on the pillow.
There was one more thing.
That Hunter who had yet to show his face.
While fighting the Kaiju, she had discovered a Swarm used for detection.
The Hive Lord path.
That Hunter should be a Hive Lord.
Since the opponent hadn’t made a move yet, it seemed they were planning something big.
“If I could use the Swarm to lure the Kaiju over…”
Lilith murmured softly, a glint flashing in her eyes.
The Hive Lord’s greatest advantage was Swarm tactics, and the Kaiju—according to the final movie clips—also had a massive number of Kaiju.
Once an uncontrollable situation arose here, she wondered if the other side of the Wormhole would send all those Kaiju out.
Lilith rolled over and lay flat again.
She stared at the ceiling, a smile playing on her lips.
“I hope that Hive Lord doesn’t disappoint me.”
Outside the window, the sunset gradually sank below the horizon, dyeing the entire sky golden-red.
At the distant port, Gipsy Danger was undergoing repairs.
Technicians swarmed around it, discussing how to use better materials to reinforce the fists that were nearly scrapped.
And on the wall—
A giant poster had just been pasted up.
A silver-haired Little Girl, standing on the mecha’s shoulder, overlooking the sea.
Below was a row of eye-catching large characters.
“Humanity’s Hope!”
