Gathering Wives with a System

Chapter 475 Sharing Hundreds of Summons, Meeting Sword Empress

He wanted to try sharing the troops and buildings.

It was an exciting thought. Would his system be able to share them?

‘System, share Emily’s troops!’

Champion-rank Summon (Low-rank species), Purple Gale gained.

Champion-rank Summon (Low-rank species), Hammer Goliath gained.

Champion-rank Summon…

Champion-rank…

Ch…

Dozens of lights appeared inside Isaac’s mind. These were the summons Emily had gotten through her summoning altar.

Their total number was around 200+.

Among them, one percent were Champions, five percent were Master, ten percent were Elite, fifteen percent were Adept, and the rest were Initiate.

Although the ratio of powerful summons looked low, the actual numbers were high. He could count five Champions, and dozens of Masters and Elites.

“The best thing here is that I got Life Talent and Support Talent

summons.’

In his City, Isaac almost always got Combat Talent summons through the summoning altar.

While having Combat Talent summons was good, Life Talent and Support Talent were equally precious, if not more.

‘I finally have a reliable source of Life and Support Talent summons.’

Isaac was not worried about the summons having identity crisis if they met their shared copies.

The monsters summons he had shared from Emily were the reason behind his confidence. Those summonses maintained their

individuality, and believed they were unique even after meeting the copy.

The same would likely happen here.

‘I can’t summon these people in reality now. If I do, the Lords would notice I have too many people who have a ‘twin’ and it would be hard to explain how this was happening…’

‘Wait, can’t I just say it’s my Lord Talent?”

‘Mhm, thinking again, my Lord Talent is already too clear to anyone. The 200% Drop Rate!

‘Emily’s Talent is also easy to notice. She can revive her citizens!

‘I need another Lord under me. I can put the ability to copy summons as their Lord Talent!

After making his decisions, he looked back at the status screen with a faint grin, and said,

‘System, share the buildings in Emily’s City!’

Please upgrade System to Level 3 to share the Buildings.

Upgrade Requirements: Have five wives, each with 100+ Affection.

Upgrade Benefits: Share dungeon rewards, stack Titles, share building rewards.

Isaac’s gaze sharpened.

Instead of feeling down, he felt invigorated at the system prompt.

‘I already have Alice, Emily, Celia, and sis. All of them have 100+ Affection!’

‘With Selene’s addition, I will have five wives and the System will be

upgraded.

The possibility of sharing buildings was mind-shattering.

It would allow Isaac to grow as a Lord at an unprecedented speed.

‘If I can share buildings, I just need to divert all resources towards Emily’s City and share the completed buildings with myself, he thought.

He looked back at the blueprints he got from Emily.

The blueprints were all rare rarity. They were powerful, but needed extremely precious resources to be built.

Most of the materials were things he could acquire with money, but several of them – the refined resonance crystal for the Watchtower, a specific compressed alloy used in the Thornwall’s base sections, the memory-bound stone for the Archive – were exclusive to certain Lords.

Other settlements had developed rights over their production and didn’t sell them freely.

The only way to access them was through negotiation, and the Lords carrying those rights would know exactly how valuable they were.

That’s why today’s meeting mattered a lot to Isaac.

The number of materials he could get from the other lords would depend on the negotiations.

Of course, there was a distinct possibility that the Lords might not sell the materials to him, to keep in check.

Isaac had to be prepared for everything.

‘I wish Selene was here. She would be of great help, he thought.

He had watched her develop her negotiation approach during the

Trial.

She was no longer the girl he had gaslighted during their first

business negotiations, and had become a true powerhouse who was better at negotiations than most people twice her age.

Still, even if she was not here today, he had learned from watching

her, and he was confident enough in his own skills.

‘Only if I can get all the materials today, can I equip my city and make

it so that no one can look down on us anymore!

Isaac recalled the events of the morning, where the Florathi had looked down at him.

That happened because their military might was unmatched in the

region. Their strength made them arrogant enough to act like that.

Isaac currently had Avery on his side, which was not a small deterrent. X-019 and Elyndra had to run away with their tail between their legs upon facing her.

But Avery was one person, extraordinary as she was.

Even she would not be able to stop the entirety of the Florathi

kingdom alone.

Isaac needed to level up his City fast, and make it stronger if he

wanted to stand on toes with other Lords, and for that today needed

to go well.

He pulled into the central building as he was finishing the thought, and everyone stepped out.

The interior of the building was already occupied.

Celia peeled off with Althea, Emily and Charlotta to enjoy the festival,

and Arlene went with them, leaving Isaac standing in the main corridor with Alice and Avery.

The Lords’ meeting allowed each Lord to bring two additional people. Avery and Alice would be Isaac’s companion today. Emily had gone to enjoy with Celia, saying she didn’t want to join a stressful meeting. “The Lords would probably be waiting to judge me. Should I give them

a surprise?’ Isaac thought, fiddling with the pendant given to him by the angel. This pendant could hide anything he wanted on his status. As long as he hid his War God lineage, Isaac had no reason to hide other things. Especially because he knew how Inspect items work. The Inspect items were unlike his Inspect, which could show everything. The items available to other had great limitations. He was still planning his entrance when he registered a familiar presence and looked toward the lounge area off the main hall. Sword Empress was sitting there. She looked up when he entered, and stood.

Isaac stiffened for just a moment.

He had predicted she might be here, but seeing her in person after everything that had happened in the Trial brought up a complicated set of questions, the most pressing of which was whether she

remembered any of it and, if so, what her reaction to that memory

was.

Her expression, as she crossed the room toward him, gave him

nothing.

She looked calm, and composed, and if there was any discomfort in her she’d buried it somewhere he couldn’t see.

“It’s been a while since we met, master,” Isaac said, settling on neutral

ground. “Mhm,” she replied, and stopped in front of him. “I’ve been busy with training, and getting stronger. With all the Lords arriving, I didn’t want anyone to think they could look down at the city.”

Isaac nodded.

He had the impulse to use Inspect on her and read what was actually sitting underneath that composure, and he suppressed it. Sometimes the honest answer was that knowing would cause more complications than not knowing, and this felt like one of those times.

“I’ll be coming into the meeting with you. Along with Alice and the Water Elemental Spirit,” she said.

“The meeting only allows two people per Lord,” Isaac said. “It does, but they won’t restrict Avery. And Florathi will account for

my presence on their side, so I won’t be counted in your quota either.”

She said it practically, like the logistics had already been settled. Isaac nodded but then noticed something.

“Wait, so if you and Avery don’t count as people I bring. Then isn’t Alice the only person who I’m bringing along?” he asked. “No, you have a second person already,” the Sword Empress said.

“Who?” Isaac asked.
