…
Isaac stood frozen in place, staring at what had just appeared before him.
Entire mountains of vegetables rose from the soil, shining faintly with mana.
The colors were richer, and the air around them even felt thicker with energy than the previous harvests.
He blinked and focused on the notifications.
The lines of text nearly made him lose his breath.
60,000 Tier 2 Potatoes.
30,000 Tier 2 Garlic.
50,000 Tier 2 Tomatoes.
50,000 Tier 2 Onions.
25,000 Tier 2 Cabbages.
25,000 Tier 2 Pea Pods.
Isaac sucked in a sharp breath.
“That’s… insane.”
The numbers were through the roof, but what caught his attention wasn’t just the quantity.
He crouched down, grabbed a potato, and turned it in his hand. The skin gleamed faintly, as if it carried a vitality of its own. He didn’t even need to eat it to know.
“It’s not just the numbers,” he muttered. “Their quality is on a whole other level. If the Tier 1 vegetables already had health benefits, then these will be something else.”
He dropped the potato back into the pile and rubbed his chin.
“Even if I sold them dirt cheap, the profit would be insane.”
He thought he was getting used to these kinds of yields, considering how many harvests he’d done in the past few days.
However, seeing so many Tier 2 vegetables stacked in front of him left him stunned all over again.
The sheer sight of it felt unreal, like a feast piled up for a kingdom.
But the harvest wasn’t just vegetables.
Isaac looked at the ’ingredients’ he had harvested after the vegetables reached Tier 2.
60 Essence of Earthen Vitality.
60 Starch of Mana Absorption.
30 Essence of Pungent Vitality.
30 Clove of Burning Breath.
50 Juice of Crimson Renewal.
50 Seed of Solar Harmony.
50 Layered Tear Crystal.
50 Core of Sharpness.
25 Leaf of Verdant Barrier.
25 Heart of Nutrient Bloom.
45 Pearls of Mana Storage.
45 Pod of Linked Growth.
“That’s a long list.” Isaac whistled.
His eyes scanned through the ingredients again.
He didn’t know all of their uses yet, but after seeing how effective the Life Energy potions had been, he had high expectations.
These names alone suggested they weren’t ordinary at all.
“I wonder how I can make uses of these,” he said while the corner of his lips rose.
Then he focused on the total stats he got from this harvest.
“I got almost fifteen thousand Mana and fifteen thousand Constitution from just one harvest.”
He shook his head and chuckled.
“If only my Const and Mana stats and their backlog wasn’t capped already. I’d be making a killing right now.”
He would need to breakthrough to Adept rank, and reach Level 11 for that to happen.
“I’ve already completed all my Class Advancement Quests except the evolutionary trial one. So I should be able to reach Level 11 soon.”
Isaac looked at his fist and clenched it.
He could feel that he could begin the evolutionary trail at any moment.
Starting it would teleport him into an instance dungeon.
“I should ask Professor about evolutionary trial, and start it after getting the information.”
Isaac became excited at the prospect of levelling up.
With that in mind, Isaac continued the work.
He moved on to his other crops, harvesting the Tier 0, Tier 1, and Tier 2 Vitality Grains. Then he made his way over to the wheat fields.
The system recorded each yield as he worked.
The steady rhythm of notifications was almost like a pleasant background music.
After finishing the wheat, he headed to the smaller plots that Selene had suggested.
Azure Root. Fireleaf Spinach. Mallow Bulb. Whiteshade Radish. Goldvine Pea. Nightcap Tomato.
Five hectares in total, each filled with rows of marketable crops. Isaac worked his way through them.
By the time he was done, the fields looked bare.
“Tyr, come here!”
Tyr came running.
Isaac instructed him to move the harvest back into the house.
The piles of vegetables, grains, and roots filled entire rooms.
Isaac scratched the back of his head as he looked at the stacks building higher.
“I think we need to create a warehouse soon.”
It wasn’t sustainable to just fill the house with produce. Even though they would soon send them to market, the sheer volume was reaching a point where it felt weird to keep them in the house, even if only temporarily.
He sighed and turned back toward the fields.
That was when he felt it, a gaze pressing on him.
He looked up.
Celia stood by the window of her room, leaning slightly forward as she watched him.
Her long hair caught the light, and her expression was calm, though her eyes clearly followed his every move.
Isaac raised a hand and called out, “Good morning.”
She blinked once before replying, “Good morning.”
She looked at him in a daze.
Then her lips curved into a smile.
It looked refreshing, almost like a flower that was blooming and revealing it’s true beauty.
Isaac paused for a second, caught off guard.
She really did look beautiful when she smiled like that.
He was still processing it when another screen appeared right in front of his eyes.
[Wife candidate Celia von Rae’s affection for you has reached 90.]
[It is recommended you make her your wife to gain more Affection Points, and help her grow at the same time.]
Isaac was stunned.
He glanced at the floating text, then back at Celia.
She was still smiling, leaning on the window frame as if she had all the time in the world.
He muttered under his breath,
“That’s…. surprising.”
As if on cue, Celia’s eyes became clear. It was as if she had come to a realization.
“Good morning, Isaac!”
This time she said it with a cheerful smile, one that felt almost playful.
Isaac stared up at her, unsure whether to laugh or sigh.
