【 THE GODDESS STATUE, THE SERAPHIM 】

The Elven Queen Diana Moonlight!

Could it be… that he had stumbled upon the missing Elven Demigod by sheer coincidence?!

Four Seasons’ heart pounded wildly while their party’s chat group had already exploded with excitement…

“Hey Cousin! Go ask her! Find out if it’s really her!”

Yeye typed.

“I’ll send you a portrait of Diana! I specifically saved it. It’s from an illustration in the historical records of the Church of Life!”

That was Nana.

Soon, Four Seasons received a screenshot.

The screenshot showed an Elven woman wearing a crown. She was noble and elegant, mature and composed with hair color similar to the Goddess’s, but her eyes were blue-violet, and her appearance bore a three- or four-tenths resemblance to the Goddess.

This was a portrait of the Elven Queen, Diana.

Four Seasons saved the image, then quickly finished the berries in his hand and wiped his mouth with a handkerchief. Afterward, he hurriedly rang the bell several times.

Before long, the door to the room was gently pushed open.

“Sir Elf, is there something you need?”

A demi-human girl peeked through the crack in the door.

“Just call me Four Seasons.”

Four Seasons smiled.

He then looked at the girl and asked directly:

“Um… Hey, Miss Demi-girl, that Diana you just mentioned, is she also an elf?”

The girl frowned and pushed the door open, though she seemed somewhat displeased.

“My name isn’t ‘Demi-girl.’ It’s Lina.”

“Ah… sorry, Lina. Could you answer the question for me?”

Four Seasons clasped his hands together and asked expectantly.

Being stared at so intently, the demi girl seemed somewhat uncomfortable. This was understandable. The elves were simply too good-looking. Even players with an appearance score of 60, which was merely considered passing, could be called handsome on the continent, let alone someone like Four Seasons, who had deliberately maxed out his appearance score.

So being stared at by a ridiculously handsome man was enough to make most women feel flustered.

However, the girl did not answer immediately. Instead, she looked at Four Seasons warily.

“…Why are you asking about this?”

“Well… it’s like this. Our Elven race has an elder who disappeared long ago, and her name also happens to be Diana.”

Four Seasons explained.

Lina’s eyes widened, and a trace of surprise appeared in her gaze.

“An elven elder who disappeared?”

“Yes. So… Miss Lina, could you tell me everything you know?”

Four Seasons asked expectantly.

The demi girl tilted her head and thought for a moment before saying:

“I’m not entirely sure. I’ve never actually met Her Majesty Diana either. I only heard the other Lords call her that…”

Other Lords?

Four Seasons’ heart skipped a beat.

Good heavens, were there other Mythical beings here?

What kind of place had he stumbled into?!

Lina did not notice Four Seasons’ strange reaction. After thinking for a moment, her eyes suddenly lit up.

“Oh that’s right! Lord Imheter left some statues of Her in the village. He really likes carving statues of people…”

Statues!

Four Seasons’ spirits immediately rose.

“What exactly does it look like?”

He asked expectantly.

“She’s an elf, a very, very beautiful elf!”

Lina said, wagging her tail.

“Uh… could you be a little more specific?”

He pressed further.

“She has pointed ears, very pretty ones, and her eyes are extremely beautiful!”

Lina gestured as she spoke, even pulling on her own furry ears to make them look pointed.

Four Seasons: “…”

He could tell now.

This demi-human girl’s head… perhaps wasn’t exactly the sharpest.

However, just as he was wondering how to guide her into giving a more detailed description, the demi girl suddenly brightened.

“That’s right! Lord Imheter also left a statue in the village. I can go get it for you!”

Four Seasons immediately perked up.

“Then I’d be extremely grateful!”

He clasped his hands together.

When he raised his head again, the girl was already gone.

Four Seasons: “…”

It seemed she was quite interested in this matter herself.

Lina did not stay away for long.

About ten minutes later, she returned with a small statue in her hands.

However, the moment Four Seasons saw the statue, he froze.

The statue was not of Diana.

Rather, it was a statue of the Goddess…

Why would a statue of the Goddess of Life be here?!

And… it had been carved by that Titan named Imheter?

Four Seasons was completely bewildered.

“How is it? Isn’t it pretty? Is this Lady Diana?”

Lina held up the statue and tilted her head. Her eyes were bright, and she seemed quite fond of it.

Four Seasons: “…”

In the end, Four Seasons still could not determine whether this Diana was the same Elven Queen Diana he had been thinking of.

However, after explaining the statue’s true identity to the demi girl Lina, giving her a detailed introduction to Goddess of Life as she stared at him in astonishment, and gradually building a closer relationship with her, he was finally able to have a deeper conversation with her and obtained some useful information.

Turns out, this ‘Dream Island’ where he currently found himself was located east of the mainland continent, separated from the continent by the sea.

It was a true paradise isolated from the outside world.

Here, countless races lived together in harmony. Creatures commonly found on the continent, uncommon ones, and even species that had long since gone extinct could all be found here.

As for the Diana mentioned by the girl, she lived in a place called Utopia. However, only certain chosen beings were allowed to enter and leave it.

It was an even more peaceful place, detached from the outside world, where various creatures that had never been heard of in the Outside World lived.

Of course, there were also quite a few inhabitants of Dream Island living there.

Including elves.

“Miss Lina, then… may I ask how I can enter Utopia? I’d like to pay a visit to Lady Diana.”

Four Seasons asked.

“That… well, I don’t know either. I’ve heard that everyone who is able to enter Utopia is brought there by His Majesty Lord Imheter.”

Lina shook her head.

“Utopia is an isolated realm. It’s even more wondrous world than Dream Island. His Majesty Lord Guy once said that it is the safest place in the entire universe. Even if everything in the universe were to come to an end, it would still continue to exist…”

The girl continued.

“Lord Guy?”

Four Seasons asked curiously.

“Yep! His Supreme Majesty, Lord Guy.”

Lina replied.

After saying that, she thought for a moment and added:

“His Majesty Lord Guy is the master of Dream Island and Utopia.”

Four Seasons fell into thought.

He contacted his teammates and searched the relevant names on the game’s official website, only to discover that he could not find any information about this ‘Lord Guy’ at all.

This left Four Seasons extremely puzzled. After all, ever since the whole map of Seigües had been unlocked, plenty of people with far too much free time had visited practically every temple on the continent, digging through every possible record of any True Gods and compiling everything they could find.

The official website had even released a True God Compendium.

Yet oddly enough, neither Imheter nor Guy appeared in it.

These… were True Gods that no one had ever heard of!

Not only that, after communicating with Lina, Four Seasons keenly noticed that the Mythical beings here… seemed to dislike having believers.

This only made him increasingly curious.

However, after hearing his account, Nana offered another possibility:

“They are very likely Ancient Gods.”

“Ancient Gods?”

Four Seasons asked curiously.

“That’s right. I once read about them in an ancient book. The True Gods of this World can actually be divided into two types. The first are the ‘Gods of Faith,’ whose power relies on the faith of their believers, while the second type, the Ancient Gods does not require faith. And furthermore… there are special cases as well, such as the Goddess of Life, who, despite having believers, is essentially an Ancient God as well.“

Nana answered.

“I see…”

Four Seasons suddenly understood.

If that was the case, then he had most likely stumbled into the stronghold of the Ancient Gods.

“By the way, have you confirmed Diana’s identity yet?”

His teammates asked anxiously.

Four Seasons scratched his head.

“Well… Not yet.”

“But I think the possibility is very high, extremely high!”

He added.

Although he still could not confirm her identity with absolute certainty, the fact that this Diana was an elf and a Mythical being, while also sharing the same name, made Four Seasons feel that the chances were at least eighty or ninety percent.

After all… Mythical beings weren’t exactly as common as cabbages.

There was just one thing he could not understand. If that Titan Imheter was so fond of carving statues of the Goddess, then why had he immediately changed his attitude after learning that Four Seasons was a believer of the Goddess of Life (albeit a fake one)?

Four Seasons was utterly puzzled.

Just then, he suddenly heard a faint, sacred hymn coming from outside the window, accompanied by a brilliant glow.

Four Seasons’ heart stirred, and he hurried over.

When he looked up at the sky through the window, his eyes instantly widened.

“What’s that—eh? An angel?!”

Clad in silver armor, with six wings spread across its back, sacred and majestic…

It was a descending Seraphim.
