96 Cripple His Legs
Jiang Ming and Yang Liqin continued their hug for a good few minutes before pulling away from each other.
That was because Yang Liqin could tell his nefarious intent if they had continued the hug.
“You really need to control your lust.” Yang Liqin scolded.
“How can you blame me for getting enchanted by your attire?” Jiang Ming complained.
“Hmph, you men, and your excuses are numerous. If you want to be lustful, you can come up with a billion excuses to justify your action.”
“…”
Just when Jiang Ming was completely defeated by her words, Hong Ling suddenly knocked on the door.
“Madam Yang, Young Master… there’s a person outside wanting to meet with you.” Hong Ling said calmly.
Yang Liqin raised an eyebrow in confusion. “Didn’t I say to reject any meetings from the customers? All they want is to create a bridge of connection with us, and I’m too exhausted to deal with them.”
The door opened up as Hong Ling entered the room.
“Yes Madam Yang, but that person is claiming to be an acquaintance of the Young Master and wishes to meet him.”.
This time, it was Jiang Ming’s turn to be confused.
He rarely had any acquaintance with many people when he transmigrated here.
“What is that person’s name?” Jiang Ming asked, seemingly curious who would be claiming to be acquainted with him.
Hong Ling thought for a second before recalling the person’s name. “I believe he referred to himself as Sun Jichen from the Sun Clan.”
“Sun Jichen? Who the hell is that?”
“Eh… but he was pretty confident and said you two were acquainted during the alchemy guild.”
Suddenly, like a thunderbolt had struck Jiang Ming’s mind, he finally recalled a name called Sun Jichen.
It was the same person that had tried to obstruct his path and make things difficult for him, only to end up backfiring and wet his own pants.
“You mean that person who can’t even keep his own urine inside his tiny thing?” Jiang Ming started chuckling aloud.
“Why does he want to meet with me now?” He asked.
Hong Ling shrugged her shoulders.
“I don’t know. It was only because he was so full of himself and confident that he was acquainted with the Young Master. And since I’m not sure about the information, I decided to rush up here to verify it.”
Jiang Ming nodded his head.
It was reasonable of her to think twice and try to confirm whether or not his words were true.
After all, she doesn’t want to make a mistake and accidentally offends the person if it really turns out he’s an acquaintance.
“What are you planning to do, Jiang Ming?” Yang Liqin tilted her head to stare at Jiang Ming and asked.
Jiang Ming shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know, aunt. Meeting him and not meeting him does not affect me in any way.”
“I see…”
Yang Liqin then tidied up her clothes and smiled. “Since this Sun Jichen wants to meet with us and even proclaim himself as an acquaintance, then let’s see what he has to say.”
At the same time, she sent a mental transmission to Hong Ling. “Have the Blackheart Team on standby. If this Sun Jichen is wasting my time, then have him cripple for interrupting my time with Jiang Ming.”
Hong Ling quickly nodded her head, indicating that she had received her order.
Sometime later, Hong Ling left the office, followed by Jiang Ming and Yang Liqin.
Hong Ling had ordered some of the workers to bring Sun Jichen to a waiting room before so she didn’t need to guide them.
Instead, she gave an excuse that she had some other business to do to leave them alone.
Jiang Ming found nothing suspicious about it, so he allowed her to leave.
Meanwhile, Yang Liqin proceeded to head toward the waiting with a mysterious smile.
‘Sun Jichen, how can I not remember this name. You have caused my Jiang Ming to suffer much during his academy year.’ She sneered inwardly.
After a few minutes, Yang Liqin stopped by the waiting room where two guards were standing by.
“Greetings to Madam Yang.” The two guards quickly greeted and bowed as soon as they saw her.
Yang Liqin, however, showed a fierce glint when she noticed they had forgotten to greet Jiang Ming.
The two guards also realized their mistakes as they quickly made a 45 angle turn and bowed toward Jiang Ming.
“Greetings to the Young Master.” They said nervously.
Of course, Jiang Ming wasn’t petty enough to care whether the guards greeted him or not.
What was the point of greetings anyway if they would meet again?
“I’m surprised, aunt. After my leave, the Moon Bazaar’s security and guards have increased tremendously.” Jiang Ming praised her.
Jiang Ming was sure that if he was the one managing the Moon Bazaar, then it could never have been this successful.
After all, he barely had any experience in running a business, much less handling the management work.
“Well, I couldn’t possibly disappoint you when you placed such a heavy burden on my shoulder.” Yang Liqin giggled as she teased him.
“I had never doubted my aunt’s ability once in my life.”
“I know…”
Yang Liqin then proceeded to enter the waiting room with the guards holding the door.
Once she entered, she was quickly greeted by Sun Jichen.
“G-Greetings to Madam Yang.” Sun Jichen stutteringly said.
“My name is Sun Jichen, and I hailed from the Sun Clan.” He added.
“Enough, I have heard your name already.” Yang Liqin cut him off before he could continue his speech.
“Jiang Ming, go take a seat there first.” She pointed at a chair and told him calmly.
Although a bit confused by the arrangement, Jiang Ming paid it no mind and took his seat.
He was curious as to what Yang Liqin planned to do.
“M-M-Madam Yang, I came today to see if we can have a chance of collaborating.” Sun Jichen’s forehead began to sweat as he tried to persuade Yang Liqin.
However, his face quickly turned ashen white when Yang Liqin suddenly clapped her hands.
“Men, cripple his legs first. I hate it when people talk to me without kneeling.”
