Back when Jiang Ming was still a newbie in Cultivation Omega since he had just purchased the game, he was already bullying others from the start.
After all, Cultivation Omega was a game and he always had a knack for gaming that most people are jealous of.
“Heh, another one down.” Jiang Ming laughed heartily as he watched the juicy loot dropped from the player.
As for the player’s name, Jiang Ming had no intention of remembering because they were merely there for him to farm.
Jiang Ming slowly grabbed the loot and smiled wickedly when he noticed alchemy pills and a unique weapon.
“Damn- this motherfucker was a pay-to-win player.” Jiang Ming sneered as he was glad to find this fat sheep.
Cultivation Omega was one of those rare games where there is no top-up to gain better gear or advantage..
However, that doesn’t mean other players couldn’t sell the equipment they managed to gather through a selling website in real life.
Pay-to-win players in Cultivation Omega referred to those rich players that used real-life currency to purchase equipment from other grinding players.
As Jiang Ming celebrated his luck in encountering a fellow rich player that had money but no skills in the game, someone slowly creeps behind him.
“Woah, you have lots of great equipment.” A female voice suddenly came from behind.
Jiang Ming stopped his looting process as he narrowed his eyes.
“Yeah, I really have lots of great equipment.” Jiang Ming then said as he slowly retrieved a weapon out and turned around to strike her.
“Especially with your equipment added to my collection.” Jiang Ming sneered as he thought he had killed her.
However, to his disbelief, the female in front of him had stopped his sword with her bare hand.
The female giggled softly as she cracked Jiang Ming’s sword in halves.
“Did you really manage to kill so many people with a trashy weapon like this?” She then said.
Jiang Ming’s expression paled as he took a step back. “H-How did you break my legendary sword with your bare hand? What is your level?”
Jiang Ming was ready to escape as soon as she became distracted to ponder his question.
The female tilted her head as she rubbed her chin slightly.
‘Right now’ Jiang Ming shouted inwardly as he quickly tried to activate an escape talisman.
Alas, the female laughed evilly as she snapped her finger and the talisman lost its effect.
“Woah, I didn’t say you can escape. This Qi Shan wants to play with you for a bit longer.” Qi Shan smiled wickedly as she started chasing after Jiang Ming.
When Jiang Ming noticed his escape talisman had failed due to her, he had already used his movement technique to run.
However, it didn’t take long before Jiang Ming halted his movement when he saw Qi Shan standing calmly in front of him.
‘Fuck, why is she so persistent.’ Jiang Ming cursed inwardly as he turned around and started running in the opposite direction.
But no matter where Jiang Ming tried to escape from, the same scene would replay itself where Qi Shan would be standing calmly in front of him.
Time slowly passed and Jiang Ming collapsed on the ground as he spread his arms wide open.
“Screw it, consider my unlucky day to encounter a devil like you.” Jiang Ming shouted as he gave up escaping.
It has been more than 13 hours yet Qi Shan never allowed him to escape so Jiang Ming found it pointless.
Logging out was also impossible because he was considered in combat and whenever he was close to escaping from the combat meter, Qi Shan would miraculously appear in front of him.
Meanwhile, Qi Shan chuckled softly as she walked toward Jiang Ming slowly in amusement.
“Have you finished with this cat and mouse chase?” Qi Shan teased.
Jiang Ming continued to have his eyes closed as he waited for Qi Shan to get closer.
When Qi Shan entered his striking zone, Jiang Ming tried to thrust his sword at her heart at this moment but alas, it was a futile effort when Qi Shan dodged his strike.
Jiang Ming clenched his fist in anger when he saw Qi Shan dodged his strike effortlessly.
“Damn it, what is that crazy reaction speed?” Jiang Ming cursed in anger as he almost had her in his grasp.
“Are you a hacker?” He then asked since his strike was deemed impossible to dodge in that close distance.
He had practiced the sword thrust every day to perfection and so far, not a single person had managed to dodge his sword thrust, especially when they were in close proximity.
“I have no idea what you mean by a hacker?” Qi Shan shrugged her shoulders as she showed a confused expression.
Jiang Ming’s expression became complicated as he stuttered, “Then do you know what I mean when I said you must be a top player?”
Qi Shan shook her head in response.
It was only at this moment that Jiang Ming finally figured out who his opponent truly was.
‘She’s a goddamn NPC, no wonder why.’ Jiang Ming screamed inwardly as only the NPC at this moment was at god level.
Although there are NPC that don’t have combat experience, some NPC were deemed god-like in the game forum and were unkillable.
Moreover, the NPC had their own distinctive and eccentric behavior that doesn’t follow a robot-like program.
Jiang Ming facepalmed as he cursed his terrible luck to encounter one of those god-like NPC in Cultivation Omega.
“Can you kindly spare me?” Jiang Ming stood up as he pleaded for mercy from Qi Shan.
“You’re not a player so killing me doesn’t give you any benefits at all and you don’t even need my equipment.” He added.
Qi Shan shook her head. “You have struck at me first so your pleading is invalid.”
Afterward, Qi Shan’s figure blurred and before Jiang Ming realized it, a notification appeared on his screen.
