26 I’m the Owner
Jiang Ming glanced around to try and see the workers for Moon Bazaar.
Alas, because of his clothes that seemed to be out of place in the Moon Bazaar, he was quickly targeted by a customer.
“Hey, what is a poor man like you doing in the Central District?” A snotty young master said as he held a woman in his arms.
The woman giggled as well and said, “Young Master Lei, it’s common for beggars to try and seek opportunities from wealthy people.”
“Haha, How could I forget about that my dear,” Young Master Lei laughed heartily as he pinched on her buttocks.
The woman moaned slightly as she wiggled her butt for easy access for young master Lei.
Meanwhile, Jiang Ming was looking at them like they were idiots. ‘How do these no-brainers keep existing in life?’
“Jiang Ming, I found a worker over there,” Hong Ling tugged on his sleeve as she pointed at a worker that was busy handling multiple customers but not as much as the other workers..
Jiang Ming turned around to glance at the worker as he nodded his head.
“Let’s go and ask him for the manager,” Jiang Ming then said as he prepared to walk over there.
“What the- you goddamn beggar dared to ignore me,” Young master Lei suddenly shouted in anger as he raised his fist up.
His voice was loud enough for the customers and workers to stop their task temporarily as they looked for the source.
“Isn’t that Lei Zichen from the Lei Clan?” A person exclaimed when he noticed who was throwing a fit in the Moon Bazaar.
The crowd started to become intrigued about who managed to offend Lei Zichen.
The commotion became so huge that a manager was quickly called in as he asked in an out-of-breath tone.
“Young Master Lei, what happened? Did our worker offend you somehow?”
Lei Zichen glanced at the manager and his name tag that says Cao Dong as he quickly pointed his finger at Jiang Ming.
“I thought the Moon Bazaar is a high-end luxury store so how could you let a beggar like him enter. Look at his clothes, it’s so garbage and the fact that he directly ignored me.” Lei Zichen exclaimed loudly, making sure everyone knows who he is talking about.
Jiang Ming who was standing calmly laughed at Lei Zichen who was acting like a clown.
“Hong Ling, is this the kind of person you had to deal with every day back in the alchemist guild,” Jiang Ming asked Hong Ling.
Hong Ling nodded her head.
“It was pretty annoying as they all tried to take advantage of me or tried to show off their wealth to get me into their bed.” Hong Ling said in a bitter tone.
Jiang Ming placed his arms around Hong Ling’s shoulder and whispered softly, “Then watch carefully on how you should deal with them the next time you encounter such a person.”
Meanwhile, Cao Dong walked up to Jiang Ming and asked, “Apologies but may I ask who you are.”
And he continued in a low tone, “If your identity is less prestigious than Lei Zichen then I suggest you apologize to him and beg for forgiveness. Otherwise, you’re going to have a hard time in the Central District… his father is a second-commander for the guards.”
Cao Dong wanted to warn Jiang Ming so that he wouldn’t make any more mess.
Jiang Ming could sense his goodwill as he didn’t directly accuse him and tried to throw him out.
“You have a good personality- it’s a good thing for you and me since I won’t have to change much of the management,” Jiang Ming said in a low tone as he patted Cao Dong’s shoulder.
Afterward, Jiang Ming slowly walked toward Lei Zichen.
“Heh, at least you know your wrongdoings.” Lei Zichen smirked as he believed Jiang Ming was coming toward him to apologize.
He showed a haughty attitude and lifted his shoe up, “Clean my shoe properly while apologizing then I shall forgive you.”
“Sure, I’ll help you,” Jiang Ming smiled brightly as he raised his legs and kicked the left ribs of Lei Zichen.
Lei Zichen didn’t expect Jaing Ming would attack him so he was unprepared as he collapsed on the ground while screaming in pain.
“Argh, you dared to hit me. You’re a dead man now,” Lei Zichen screamed in agony as he clenched on his left ribs.
The crowd held a gawking expression as they never expected Jiang Ming would be this bold to attack Lei Zichen.
The woman who accompanied Lei Zichen also screamed at Jiang Ming as she went over to help Lei Zichen get up.
“You dared to attack the son of the commander for the guards. You won’t even be able to leave the Central District alive.” The woman shouted and pointed her finger at Jiang Ming.
Jiang Ming laughed heartily at these two people and said, “I’m the owner of the Moon Bazaar. Do you think your father can do anything against me?”
Lei Zichen was dazed a bit before laughing like a maniac. “Manager, did you see what I mean by a beggar now. He even dared to boast about being the owner when everyone knows it’s owned by Chen Peizhi.”
Afterward, Lei Zichen took out a talisman and burned it as he stared at Jiang Ming with a menacing smile.
“Don’t even think for a second you can live for messing with me.” Lei Zichen threatened as his focus soon landed on Hong Ling.
“As for that woman with you, I’ll have her serve me for the entire night before I throw her to the guards to let them vent.”
Hong Ling paled as she quickly held Jiang Ming’s sleeve tighter.
Jiang Ming laughed at Hong Ling’s timid behavior and whispered, “Why are you suddenly afraid?”
“I was putting up an act for you. After all, the more confident he gets, the more he will break by the time he notices that he messed with the wrong person.” Hong Ling replied in a low tone as she continued her fake act of being scared.
