182 Completion
After revealing to Jiang Ming that his current world would be destroyed if he failed to become a Game Lord, the voice vanished.
“Hey, you can’t just reveal some bits of information and not say anything else.” Jiang Ming screamed loudly.
“Aren’t you being irresponsible for such unreasonable claims? And what do you mean by being too tired to do the tedious work? Doesn’t that mean you are perfectly capable of preventing something but you were just too lazy to do so?”
There are so many questions going through his mind that he wanted an answer for.
However, not a single response came to him after those final words of his.
Jiang Ming could only click his tongue in annoyance.
All he wanted to do was enjoy life, and not be dragged to some bullcrap.
Ding!
<Congratulations to Player Jiang Ming on completing the Sudden Quest and obtaining 1% of the Main Storyline>
<Reward: Soul-Binding Item>.
–
Still naked in space, Jiang Ming saw the familiar system prompt yet again.
“I-Isn’t this a bit too superficial though?” Jiang Ming muttered in disbelief.
What does it mean by completing the sudden quest?
He didn’t even get any valuable information, but the GLCS deemed it as a completion and even granted him a reward item- not that he would complain about free loot.
“Ugh, whatever, what comes will come and we’ll meet it when it does,” Jiang Ming scratched his head slightly.
It truly had been a hectic journey since accepting the mission from GLCS.
Not only did he have to travel to the Guilong Forest to deal with an abyssal demon, Skartoom, but he also had to come to the ancient ruin and encounter an unruly woman, Shuang Shu.
Recounting those days and the time he wasted, Jiang Ming was exhausted.
Although everything seemed terrible at first glance, he couldn’t lie about not enjoying the rewards he received in the process.
The rewards included 3 rejuvenation drops, Gamer’s Cube, a breakthrough in cultivation, a relic from the Avalon Ruin, and most importantly, GLCS being leveled up.
Any of these rewards could be graded as a mythic grade if he was still in Cultivation Omega.
Bzzt!
While he was still calculating his rewards, Jiang Ming found himself being brought back to the dimension belonging to Shuang Shu abruptly.
Though he was still restrained in his movement and his body would not even budge an inch.
“Release me already, Shuang Shu.” Jiang Ming snorted coldly.
“I already received the whatever piece of inheritance from the Primordial Cultivator, so you should listen to me.” He added.
Of course, that was a blatant lie since he didn’t even know the inheritance he was supposed to receive.
Meanwhile, Shuang Shu pondered for a few moments before snapping her finger and releasing him.
“The ancient ruin is going to collapse soon, so hurry up and use the Gamer’s Cube power to condense my body.” Shuang Shu prompted him.
“…”
“Why are you standing like a dork?”
“… Maybe because I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.” Jiang Ming shouted.
Shuang Shu was baffled for a few seconds before facepalming. “Ugh, how can you not know your Gamer’s Cube usage?”
“I just got it in a few hours, woman. I’m not a genius that would understand an item as soon as I laid my eyes on it.”
“Get over here then, I can only impart the knowledge I have in the Gamer’s Cube for you.”
Jiang Ming nodded his head.
He took a step forward and allowed Shuang Shu to point her finger at his forehead. He wasn’t afraid of her trying to harm him since she could have done that in the first place when he wasn’t in his physical body.
Not to mention, it was clear that her cultivation base should have been something that he had never gotten to as well.
Sometime later, Jiang Ming felt a warm sensation coming through his forehead as he became a bit familiar with the Gamer’s Cube. Although it wasn’t some vast knowledge, it was still better than being completely ignorant of it.
“Remember this carefully, the Gamer’s Cube is not your typical run-in-the-mill item, but something sought by many cultivators. You should get what I meant by that, right?” Shuang Shu said.
“I’m not an idiot, Shuang Shu.”
He would have been dead by now if he couldn’t understand something so simple. Having a valuable item but not enough strength to protect it means death.
“I’m just making sure,” Shuang Shu shrugged.
“Now condense my body. You might not trust me at the moment, but it’s the same for me.”
Jiang Ming narrowed his eyes. She was correct about him not being able to trust her.
They had barely just met and can’t even be counted as acquaintances. He would be mad to fully trust her and think that she wouldn’t betray or backstab him.
“Fine, I’ll just condense you a stupid body.” Jiang Ming snorted coldly. The current him was too weak to go against someone of her caliber even if she hadn’t regained her full power.
That alone was enough proof for him that her strength might have surpassed the current world he resides in.
His eyes were closed as he retrieved the Gamer’s Cube. The Gamer’s Cube was connected with him, so it was relatively easy to call it out.
With the Gamer’s Cube in hand, Jiang Ming followed closely the instructions she had received from Shuang Shu.
Lights of particles started splattering on her face, creating a somewhat similar scene of some white substance splattering on a horny woman.
While thinking about the similarity, Shuang Shu’s eyes turned ice-cold. “Can you stop thinking perverted stuff with your face glancing at me?”
“Tsk, only a perverted fella could understand another perverted fella’s mind. What are you acting so high and mighty for when your mind is dirt as fuck?” Jiang Ming retorted, rendering her speechless.
‘That’s right, woman. You stay quiet when you are the one begging me to help you out. How dare you expose my naughty thoughts when you’re not close to me!’
