165 Rejuvenation Drops
The key floated midair in front of Jiang Ming, but he didn’t have any intention of grabbing it.
Instead, he retreated a few steps back and crossed his arms.
“Enough of the playing, GLCS. You better answer honestly what is this Avalon Ruin and what’s hiding behind the door.” Jiang Ming snorted coldly.
“I have been complying with your request ever since you reported to me about the ancient ruin’s appearance. Don’t you think it’s time to cough it up now?” He added.
Ding!
<GLCS merely wishes the best of luck to Player Jiang Ming and nothing else>
“Save that crap for someone else. Using rewards and reasoning to entice me… Did you really take me for a fool? There’s a reason why I’m number 1 in Cultivation Omega despite the billions of players in the game.” Jiang Ming scoffed coldly.
Alas, like usual, the system went deaf mode on him.
However, Jiang Ming wasn’t going to comply this time as he turned around and prepared to leave.
How could he continue to allow himself to be manipulated by a system?
He was the owner and the one with the authority. If a system can not be deemed useful to him, then he shall not use it..
Either way, only he can control his own destiny and not some system prompts.
With that kind of mindset, Jiang Ming proceeded to walk away.
A few seconds later, the system could only resign and answered Jiang Ming’s doubt.
<Inside is a relic kept by the Token Holder from above. If Player Jiang Ming obtains it, then Mission#28 would be completed, and further information shall be revealed>
<This is the best I can inform Player Jiang Ming. GLCS level is still 1 and needs to be upgraded to increase its function and information>
–
Jiang Ming nodded his head.
“Should have done that in the first place. Why does everyone wish to force my hand before being honest with me?” Jiang Ming snorted, grabbing the key that was still hovering around him.
All he wanted was an answer and nothing else.
After grabbing the key, Jiang Ming went toward the large door and inserted it into the keyhole.
THUMP!
The large door created a loud sound as it began to open up. While the door was slowly opening up, numerous shrieks of cries echoed from behind.
“What the heck?” Jiang Ming shouted in confusion. He was dumbfounded to see monsters coming from behind him.
“Didn’t I kill all the monsters already and I even placed a formation at the entrance to deflect any remnants hiding?”
Jiang Ming could only clench his fist as he witnessed monsters coming in, ready to attack him.
His eyes squinted in a fierce glint as he kicked the ground softly, propelling himself to one of the monsters. With his Moonstow Flame as the base of his punch, Jiang Ming punched the ribs of the monster.
As soon as he made the first move, the other monsters roared as they leaped toward Jiang Ming.
“Tch, a bunch of brainless monsters.” Jiang Ming sneered coldly, activating his movement technique to appear 3 meters to the left in an instant.
Meanwhile, the monsters weren’t agile enough to detect his movement and continued to pounce toward the afterimage of Jiang Ming.
“Aiyah, a bunch of brainless monsters is really disappointing. Why are you stepping in the bombs I’ve set up?” Jiang Ming smirked coldly.
He turned around and spread his arms, looking like a certain chad man that resembled the suit of armor.
BOOOOM!
Explosions occurred behind him, creating fascinating fireworks with limbs of the monsters scattering across. Although he didn’t know how the monsters managed to sneak up on him, he was already prepared beforehand.
Nothing is guaranteed nor certain no matter what. Hence, he would have always had a backup plan ready to initiate whenever the situation arises.
The bombs Jiang Ming placed earlier were the backup plan.
Only a fool would believe that everything would be smooth-sailing in a gloomy and desolate ruin.
“Get rekt, bitches. Don’t you dare play some cliche scene on me again!” Jiang Ming sneered coldly, walking ahead since the door was now open.
By the time he entered, the large door behind him started closing in itself.
He ignored the door from closing as his gaze focused on the tiny light beacon emitting at the center.
Upon walking further, he realized it was a coffin with an open hole in the middle of it.
“I suppose this must be the corpse of the so-called Token Holder mentioned by the GLCS.” He concluded.
To open a closed coffin is usually a bad omen, but who was Jiang Ming?
He was a person that gives no fuck if he wanted to do something. Thus, without hesitation, Jiang Ming kicked the lid of the coffin away.
BANG!
A loud bang was created with the lid crashing to the ground.
At the same time, Jiang Ming glanced at the inside of the coffin, only to be shocked.
“Where the fuck is the corpse?” He exclaimed loudly. “A coffin is meant for a corpse to reside in, not a damn relic crap.”
Ding!
<Congratulation to Player Jiang Ming for finding the relic left behind by the Legacy Token Holder>
–
Ding!
<Due to Player Jiang Ming obtaining the relic, the Mission #28 is hereby completed>
<Reward: 3 Rejuvenation Drop>
–
“Is this for real?” Jiang Ming held a dumbfounded look as he glanced at the reward.
The unknown reward for mission #28 was unexpectedly the rarest item in Cultivation Omega.
Rejuvenation drops could instantly recover a person’s health to the max no matter the circumstances. Meaning you can be on the verge of dying and be recovered to your youthful year.
If this was ever to be out in the market, then the whole world would be embroiled in war just to obtain the item. After all, it’s like being reborn and restarting your entire life from zero, but with profound experience kept.
Just when Jiang Ming thought things couldn’t get any better, another system prompt popped up.
Ding!
<Game Lord Cultivation’s System had met the requirement to level up>
