Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.

Chapter 407: Faye Tells Princess

  • Next Chapter

It was Sunday morning. The Grand-Kings sat in the kitchen, standard breakfast routine under way, the pups tore into their food, completely absorbed, while Faye kept half an eye on them.

Princess stared straight at her bowl, spooning up cereal without really tasting it.

"So, are you going to tell me why you came home looking like fried roasted chicken last night?"

Faye’s voice broke the steady quiet room. She didn’t look up right away, just kept watching the pups chew.

Princess paused, her spoon hovering an inch above the milk. She had crept through the front door way past midnight, shoes in hand, taking every step slow so the floor. She genuinely thought she’d dodged the interrogation for at least one morning.

"How did you know?" Princess muttered, eyes fixed on the floating flakes.

"I am a werewolf, and you are my mate," Faye said, turning her head to catch Princess’s eye. "You marked me, remember? I know. Your pheromones were tampered with."

Princess swallowed, lowering her spoon. "I’m fine."

"Obviously, you are. You’re an Alpha." Faye set her elbows on the counter, leaning in just enough to cut off the escape route. "So, what did you and that bitch talk about last night?"

The name hung in the air. Silviana. Princess didn’t say a word. She just kept her gaze locked on the table, jaw working slightly as she searched for a way around it.

"We agreed on no more lies or secrets," Faye reminded her, voice dropping its casual bite, turning firm. "So tell me."

Princess leaned back, she looked Faye dead in the eye, shifting the ground beneath them before Faye could press any harder.

"Why don’t you tell me where you were yesterday? You were avoiding my questions. You go first, then I will go next."

She hadn’t forgotten the way Faye had dodged her questions. The subtle shifts in topic, the sudden interest in chores, Faye had been hiding something too, and Princess wasn’t about to spill her own guts while Faye stayed safe behind her wall.

Faye held her stare for a long second, weighing her options. Then she sighed, letting her shoulders drop as she abandoned the pups to their own devices and turned around completely to face her girlfriend.

"Okay, then. I’ll go first so what happened last time won’t repeat itself."

She grabbed the edge of the counter, pulling herself up straight.

"Before I begin, just know it’s Malo’s fault."

The blameshift was instantaneous, but in Faye’s head, it made complete sense. If Malo hadn’t dragged her, talking about lol, she wouldn’t have been anywhere near that mess.

Malo had painted the picture, lit the fuse, and handed her the match.

"We wanted to avenge Bambi’s brother’s death," Faye said, watching Princess’s face for the initial twitch. "We all planned it together and went to the fortress to kill the guy."

Princess didn’t flare up. She didn’t drop her spoon or slam a fist on the table. Revenge was normal territory. It was practical. But something in the timeline was off.

"You shouldn’t have stressed yourself," Princess pointed out, her tone almost dry. "The girlfriend that rented her already did the job."

"Yeah, we all witnessed it," Faye admitted, remembering the sheer wall of smoke blowing back into their faces. "It was pretty smoky and dusty."

Princess tilted her head, watching her closely. "Okay, is that all?"

"No, there’s more."

"Were you injured?"

"No."

"Did you get yourself into another deadline deal?"

"No."

"Then what is it?"

Princess’s relaxed posture vanished. She straightened up, her eyes narrowing as she locked onto Faye’s shifting feet.

Faye reached down without looking, picking up four small bottles of water from the side tray. She popped the tops and slid them down into the pups’ mouths, keeping their small hands busy. Princess automatically reached over, steadying one of the wriggling pups by the scruff so Faye could push the bottle in without spilling it everywhere.

Even while helping, Princess’s eyes never left Faye’s face. She was waiting for the actual weight to drop.

Faye cleared her throat, rubbing the back of her neck.

"I found out just yesterday that Yuki isn’t the only one who worships me and expects me to avenge their lost souls," Faye said, the words spilling out before she could smooth them over. "There’s a cult in my name. Not actually my name, but the Moon Wolf... or Hija Dela Luna."

Princess stayed dead still. She slowly absorbed the confession, processing every piece of it. A noise down by her shoe caught her attention, Minny had managed to dump food down his front, smearing it across his nose. She pulled a cloth off the counter, bent down, and wiped his little face clean, her hands working on instinct while her mind raced.

She stood back up, tucking the cloth into her pocket.

"Did you tell them who you are?" Princess asked.

"I blurted it out."

Princess nodded again, slow and rhythmic, her expression unreadable.

"Wow... Is that also Malo’s doing?"

"Honestly, no," Faye said, dropping her head for a second before looking back up. "It was all me. The tension, the attempted murder, killing Jessie’s girlfriend... Then I was provoked, and I told them. I don’t think they believe me because of my features. They don’t match the Moon Wolf."

The detail caught in Princess’s throat. She held up a hand, stopping the stream of excuses.

"Is the Jessie you’re talking about the same Jessie you tried to sleep with?"

Faye gave a single, tight nod. That was answer enough.

"Why did you kill her girlfriend?"

"She tried to kill me, and my Beta killed her while protecting me," Faye said quickly.

"Okay."

The word just sat there. Princess didn’t yell. She didn’t throw a single piece of feedback into the air.

Faye shifted her weight from foot to foot, waiting for the blast radius to hit.

She braced herself for the Alpha glare, the sudden drop in temperature in the room, the anger that usually followed a mess this big. But Princess just kept staring at her, terrifyingly steady.

"You’re not mad?" Faye asked, her voice dipping lower.

"Oh, I am," Princess said, her voice smooth, almost quiet. "But I don’t want to vent my anger on you or walk out, because then you’ll go into that state again and demand a break. That is worse than me being mad."

She took a step closer, cutting the distance between them until Faye had to tilt her head up to keep eye contact.

"Just so you know, I will lose if any of them come after you. They better believe you instead of trying to kill you."

Princess paused, her gaze harsh.

"Maybe it’s also high time you start acting like a Moon Wolf. Learn to kill those who defile you."

Faye swallowed down the lump in her throat. "Okay... That’s something I’m still processing. But these are Yuki’s people. I think she created them to help me kill Alphas."

"Obviously, she created them for revenge," Princess muttered, turning her gaze back toward the window as her brain pieced together the broader board. "But I’m sure there’s a hidden agenda behind why there’s a Moon Wolf cult."

She didn’t have the proof in her hands yet, but the pattern was too clean.

Dedicated followers didn’t just pop out of nowhere because of myth. Yuki had built them, step by step, laying down a foundation of fanaticism.

Yuki formed them to make the Moon Wolf strong enough to rip an Alpha’s heart out.
