Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.
Chapter 371: I’d Rather Die Than Spend My Life With Someone Like You
The next day, Friday, while Faye was out busy doing her community service, Princess was with her friends. The kids were right there with her, all taking a nap.
With the Clubhouse quiet, the three friends sat side by side, busy playing a game on the monitor. It was just a friendly role-playing game, their fingers clicking away as the avatars moved on the screen.
"So Kiara, what are you doing this Sunday?" Princess asked, her eyes locked on the monitor, her hands making quick movements on the controller. She wanted to inform Kiara about their job to do, given by the GPF Chief
"Hmm, Nothing much," Kiara said, her eyes fixed on her character as she dodged an attack.
"Just taking my GF to the cinema. We’re going to eat some popcorn while French-kissing live on Gram..."
Princess didn’t even look away from the display. Obviously, the girl always has a plan.
"Oh, what a lovely plan you have my dear... cancel it. We have something else to do on Sunday." It was simple and final...
Kiara’s hand froze over her keyboard. Her character stopped moving mid-stride. Slowly, she turned her head toward Princess, who was sitting right between her and Beam.
"Why would I cancel my Sunday plans?" Kiara asked, her brow furrowing. "It’s important. My live view count is always high on Sundays. My subscribers love me and my girlfriend, and I am not going to trade anything for that..."
Before Princess could answer, Beam leaned back in her chair and let out a light snort. Not knowing she was lighting a fire..
"Your posts and lives always have the exact same titles about your previous relationship with an ex..."
Beam began ticking them off on her fingers, her voice dropping into a dramatic read-along tone.
"How To Cope After Being Dumped In The School Hallway... What My Exes Are Missing... 101 Survival After a Relationship With an Alpha... Found Someone Way Better and Hotter Than My Ex Alpha... The Best Revenge Against an Ex, What I Learned From My Previous Relationship...."
Beam ran through the entire list of captions she had seen plastered across Kiara’s page over the last few weeks.
And what she even doing on Kiara’s Page?
Princess stopped playing and finally turned to look at Kiara, her expression flat.
"Wow, wow girl. So you are using our past relationship for views..."
Kiara rolled her shoulders, turning back toward her screen like it was no big deal. "What? People like hearing breakup stories. They want to know who’s next. Besides, what I say on live is true. You did dump me in the school hallway for your baby mama."
Princess let out a harsh breath, her grip tightening on her controller.
And the fire was lite...
"I dumped you? Well, since you are being so honest... why don’t you tell your followers what actually happened during the relationship? Tell them who cheated on whom."
"Oh, come on," Kiara snapped, throwing her hands up briefly. "I already covered that part. I explained the real reason why I cheated on my ex girlfriend. You were the off vibe in our relationship, and that was why I did it."
Princess stared at her, her jaw tightening. "You have to be kidding me, right? I loved you. I gave you all my attention, you were always happy..."
The heat in the room suddenly spike. The air felt heavy, pressed thin between them.
Kiara didn’t back down. She met Princess’s stare head-on, her voice cold and steady. "As if. Your love for me was nothing but an illusion. An illusion created to repair a fragile heart that was on the verge of a mental breakdown. You never loved me. I was nothing more than a battery you used to fix your mental instability. You kept draining me while acting like a lunatic, always disappearing and coming back whenever it suited you. Our relationship was nothing but a facade. FYI, anyone who dates you is bound to cheat eventually because you’re a boring, needy of a lover."
The moment the words left Kiara’s mouth, the room went dead silent.
Princess didn’t speak. She didn’t shout. But inside her irises, a sharp spark caught fire. Her eyes flashed a deep, glowing blue.
Beam caught the glint of blue and practically threw her weight sideways, rolling her gaming chair right between the two of them. She held up both hands, trying to cut through the thick air.
"Princess, hey, let’s focus on the game," Beam said quickly, her voice higher than usual as she looked at Kiara, practically begging her with her eyes to back off. "Whatever Kiara is talking about, I’m sure she doesn’t mean it... right, Kiara?"
Kiara leaned back, resting her elbow on the armrest and looking straight at Princess without a single trace of regret.
"Obviously not. I was just telling my truth... exactly what I said to my viewers, why I cheated on my ex-girlfriend..."
She wasn’t going to take it back. Not a single word.
Princess stood her ground. Her chest rose and fell with a single, controlled breath, pushing down the aura threatening to flare out. Slowly, a smile pulled at the corners of her lips. It was a forced smile, sharp around the edges, as she looked down at her ex.
"You know what? I am happy you cheated," Princess said, her voice dropping into a low, even calm.
"I found the girl who will never cheat on me, no matter what, and love me for me. Someone who is nothing like you.... I only dated you because I pitied you. Your sister begged me to choose you and have you as my Luna, just so you could break your generational curse and free yourself from your fate."
Princess stepped closer, her eyes locked onto Kiara’s.
"You used your own hands to ruin us," Princess whispered. "And you are going to die knowing that you had the chance to free yourself..."
Kiara didn’t flinch. She met the blue glow in Princess’s eyes with a bitter sneer.
"I’d rather die, Princess, than spend my life with someone like you..."
