Chapter 340: Chapter 193: I Like This Greeting Gift

2:50 PM!

The familiar fleet of luxury cars leisurely made its way up from the foot of the mountain.

The security team, having received their orders, immediately reported the arrival. Jiang Hui quickly received the news. After briefing Raymond and Chen Fei on the particulars of the reception, he headed upstairs to Su Chen’s room.

Raymond and Chen Fei also sprang into action. After all, any screw-up on their part would be a direct embarrassment to their boss.

Soon, the fleet of luxury cars pulled up to the villa’s main entrance. Arthur stepped out of a Rolls-Royce, taking a moment to straighten his attire.

A flicker of surprise crossed the eyes of Raymond, who was standing at the entrance to greet the guest. ’Hm? I didn’t expect it to be the third young master of the Morgan family.’

"The third young master of the Morgan family? Raymond, you know him?" Chen Fei, standing to the side, whispered upon hearing this.

"Yeah... you know the business we’re in at IPS. We’ve had some dealings with the Morgan family in the past," Raymond explained simply, as there were certain details Chen Fei wasn’t privy to.

Of course... if Su Chen were to ask, Raymond would have given a much more thorough explanation.

Meanwhile, a trace of surprise also flickered in Arthur Morgan’s eyes as he stepped out of the car. He never would have imagined that the head of IPS, one of the world’s top ten security firms, would personally be standing at the door to greet him.

"Arthur, good afternoon!" Raymond greeted, stepping forward.

"Raymond, long time no see. I didn’t expect we’d meet again here." A faint smile played on Arthur’s lips, and his voice was exceptionally gentle and unhurried, like a pleasant caress of a soft breeze.

He had no airs about him whatsoever, making for an exceptionally pleasant first impression.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Raymond made a gesture with his right hand. "This way, please, Arthur."

Arthur nodded with a smile and headed into the villa. Just as he stepped inside, he saw a young, handsome man emerge from the elevator, followed by the butler, Jiang Hui, whom he recognized from that morning.

Arthur knew instantly that this young man had to be his host, Su Chen. And though he had been mentally prepared, he was still taken aback upon seeing him in person.

’He’s young... so incredibly young.’ The background check he had run hadn’t included Su Chen’s age. In Arthur’s mind, he had always pictured Su Chen as a middle-aged man around his own age who had inherited a family business.

But seeing Su Chen’s youthful appearance, Arthur realized his previous assumptions had been rash. It seemed this Mr. Su’s background was even more significant than he had imagined.

Even someone as unflappable as Arthur felt a ripple of unease.

Su Chen saw Arthur as well and strode over, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"Hello. I’m Su Chen," he said, taking the initiative to introduce himself while extending his right hand.

Arthur shook his hand and introduced himself in turn. "Hello. Arthur Morgan."

After the brief introductions, Su Chen led Arthur out to the backyard, which had already been prepared for their meeting.

A table was set with an assortment of pastries and steaming hot tea.

Su Chen and Arthur took their seats, while Raymond, Chen Fei, Fleur, and the others stood respectfully to the side.

"This is some tea I brought from back home. See what you think," Su Chen said, sliding a cup, filled about three-quarters full, in front of Arthur and gesturing for him to drink.

Arthur didn’t stand on ceremony. He lifted the teacup for a sniff, and the moment the aroma filled his nostrils, his pupils contracted.

A family like the Morgans had tasted and drunk every top-tier luxury imaginable, which was precisely why Arthur was so astonished.

Tea was, after all, one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world. Even in a top-tier family like the Morgans, many were fond of it, Arthur included.

He had tasted a great many teas, but almost none that could compare to the cup in his hand. This couldn’t help but astonish him.

’Is there a tea that the Morgan family can’t buy?’

For a time, Arthur’s attention was completely captivated by the teacup in his hands. He took occasional sips, savoring each one.

Seeing this, Su Chen didn’t interrupt, content to sip his own tea.

After a good while, Arthur finally came to his senses. He looked at Su Chen and asked curiously, "This tea has a truly wonderful flavor, Mr. Su. May I ask what kind it is?"

"Hahaha. It was a gift from an elder. There isn’t much produced in a year," Su Chen said with a laugh.

Arthur understood immediately. It was the kind of tea that was priceless—simply not available for purchase.

Although he felt a twinge of regret, he wasn’t a true tea fanatic at heart, so he didn’t dwell on it.

He set down his teacup and gave a meaningful glance to his beautiful secretary, Fleur, who stood nearby.

The next moment, Fleur carefully placed the elegant bag she had been holding onto the table.

"Mr. Su, since this is our first meeting, I’ve brought a small gift. I hope you like it." Arthur then took two exquisite boxes from the bag and pushed them across the table toward Su Chen.

Su Chen was taken aback for a moment. He hadn’t expected Arthur to have prepared a gift; it was a genuine surprise.

"You don’t mind if I open them now, do you?" Su Chen said with a smile. He was also curious what Arthur would give him as a first-meeting gift.
