She had so much on her plate every day, she didn’t have the time to deal with Wyatt Thorne.

She hadn’t even settled the score with him yet, and here he was, sticking to her like glue, impossible to shake off.

When Wyatt Thorne blocked her path, Chloe Sinclair’s eyes narrowed, her delicate brows knitting together.

The moment Wyatt Thorne heard Chloe Sinclair was actually going to report him to the dean’s office, he panicked.

“Chloe, if you don’t like me, you can just tell me. But doing this… it really hurts my feelings.”

Chloe Sinclair asked without hesitation, “I told you to stay away from me. Did you listen?”

Wyatt Thorne didn’t speak, but his silence was answer enough.

Seeing him standing there in a daze, Chloe Sinclair simply walked around him and left.

Meanwhile, Chloe Sinclair was a woman of her word. She went straight to the dean’s office.

The teacher in the dean’s office recognized Chloe Sinclair.

So she was a little surprised to see her, a smile appearing on her face. “Sinclair, what brings you here?”

Chloe Sinclair said, “Ma’am, I’m here to file a report.”

The teacher from the dean’s office was taken aback.

Just then, Wyatt Thorne walked in.

Chloe Sinclair pointed at Wyatt Thorne. “Him.”

The teacher’s gaze immediately turned serious. “Sinclair, you know that you need evidence for everything. You say Wyatt Thorne harassed you. Can you provide any proof?”

The faculty at Emberfall University were quite fair. They might show favoritism when it came to academics, but when it came to matters of conduct, the teachers would never take sides.

She asked this to make sure Chloe Sinclair wasn’t lying.

“The students in the Sector A Cafeteria can all testify for me.”

Chloe Sinclair took a deep breath. “Wyatt Thorne and I didn’t know each other at all before this. However, even knowing full well that I have a boyfriend, he pursued me time and again. After I rejected him, he continued to harass me, causing me a great deal of trouble and misunderstandings.”

After she finished, the rims of her eyes reddened, making her look pitiful.

The teacher from the dean’s office instantly felt her impartiality wavering.

But in the end, she still turned her head to look at Wyatt Thorne. “Is what Chloe Sinclair said true?”

Wyatt Thorne’s heart pounded with panic. “Ma’am, there’s been a misunderstanding. I can explain.”

“There’s no need for an explanation. Ma’am, you can ask any random student. Someone even recorded a video of it.”

Chloe Sinclair spoke with such conviction that the teacher’s brow furrowed, realizing the gravity of the situation.

“Alright, I’ll contact your deans first, and we’ll investigate this together. If it’s true, then Wyatt Thorne will be dealt with accordingly. The same goes for you if you’re not telling the truth, Sinclair.”

Since the teacher from the dean’s office hadn’t seen any definitive evidence, she didn’t press the matter aggressively.

Chloe Sinclair nodded. “Thank you, ma’am.”

Only Wyatt Thorne’s face was pale. He knew he was finished.

The teacher from the dean’s office immediately contacted the deans of three departments.

Chloe Sinclair was, after all, double majoring in Physics and Math. The teacher thought for a moment and decided to call both of their deans.

As the apple of both deans’ eyes, anything that happened to Chloe Sinclair at the university was a major event.

Hearing that their beloved student had been harassed, the two old deans stormed over to the dean’s office, fuming.

At that moment, the Dean of Computer Science was as timid as a quail, not daring to say a word.

“I’ve already asked around! It was a student from your Computer Science department who bullied my protégé!”

“I asked too! It was that Wyatt Thorne who harassed our Chloe time and again, and even caused her to be misunderstood by others!”

And so, the matter was settled.

After returning, the Dean of Computer Science had someone pull the surveillance footage and student testimonies. The evidence was conclusive.

Wyatt Thorne had indeed harassed Chloe Sinclair.

The dean’s face turned red with anger.

He had heard of Wyatt Thorne—the heartthrob of the computer science department, with decent grades. His own female protégé was quite fond of the young man.

But upon further investigation, he discovered the young man’s private life was a complete mess.

He was involved with a girl from his own department while simultaneously stringing along a student from another.

The dean was old and had seen a lot, but he was still disgusted by this student.

In the end, he directly gave Wyatt Thorne disciplinary probation.

This punishment wasn’t the most severe, but it was by no means minor.

The moment Wyatt Thorne received the disciplinary notice, his face changed completely.

When his advisor handed him the notice, he said earnestly, “Thorne, from now on, you should focus on your studies. Save the dating for after graduation.”

Wyatt Thorne wasn’t an idiot. He understood what the advisor meant, and his expression darkened.

He grunted in acknowledgement, took the notice, and left.

Wyatt Thorne had been on his best behavior for the past few days, and Chloe Sinclair enjoyed a pleasant month at the university.

The old master’s research lab was in a suburb of Emberfall. Security was extremely tight, and if Chloe Sinclair wanted to go, she needed to request a week’s leave from the university.

When she even came back for classes, many professors told her to go back and continue her research.

Otherwise, she might still be holed up in the research lab.

Nathan Trenton teased, “That’s true. It would be a huge embarrassment if Emberfall University’s top Genius graduated after four years and couldn’t even get a diploma, wouldn’t it?”

Chloe Sinclair found it hard to disagree. “I think so too.”

“How many days are you planning to stay on campus this time?” Nathan Trenton asked.

Nathan Trenton was now a professor at the university and was busy with his own research, so he hadn’t been back to the lab much in almost half a year.

Hearing Chloe Sinclair say this, he pushed up his glasses and said in a gentle voice, “Let’s go together then. The professor must be quite busy lately.”

With that, Nathan Trenton and Chloe Sinclair left the department building together and walked to the athletic field. The moment they arrived, Chloe Sinclair froze.

“Why is there still military training going on?”

“A few of the freshman departments haven’t finished their military training yet. They’re doing it in batches.”

As he spoke, he walked over to one spot and exchanged a few words with the drill instructor standing there.

With everyone chiming in one after another, the crowd suddenly erupted.

The drill instructor’s face instantly darkened.

Nathan Trenton paid the students no mind. “Their advisor is busy with something recently. This is my contact number. You can call me if anything comes up.”

Then he looked at Chloe Sinclair again.

Nathan Trenton sounded a bit helpless. “Instructor, Chloe Sinclair is my student.”

The drill instructor nodded quickly, a little embarrassed. “I know. I’m a fan of Miss Sinclair.”

With that, the instructor glanced at the students who were staring at him and lowered his voice, “Professor Trenton, when the military training is over, could you ask Miss Sinclair for an autograph for me?”
