As these thoughts crossed his mind, Li Yang sent a mental transmission to Hei Xu. "Mr. Hei Xu, don't let your expression change, and don't reveal what I'm about to tell you. I have a treasure that can keenly sense the auras of powerful individuals. Just now, it detected a powerful Deity nearby, likely a Tri-System Deity."

'What? A Tri-System Deity?'

Hei Xu's heart leaped when he heard Li Yang's words.

The surrounding void was desolate and silent. Besides them, who else could possibly be here?

This meant that whatever powerhouse Li Yang had discovered must be hidden.

He didn't dwell on why he hadn't detected the hidden expert while Li Yang had.

Li Yang was the disciple of the Blade Slaughter Sect Master, and with such immense Talent, the Sect Master surely treasured him.

The Blade Slaughter Sect Master's power was incredibly close to an Emperor's. He often roamed the outside world and possessed many treasures, so it was perfectly normal for him to have gifted some to Li Yang.

Treasures capable of detecting hidden experts were exceedingly rare, but they did exist.

At that moment, Hei Xu wasn't thinking about how Li Yang had managed to find the hidden expert. He was worried about Li Yang's safety!

'Why would this expert be hiding instead of showing themself? It's highly likely they were sent by an Alien Race to assassinate Li Yang!'

News of what had happened with the Star Moon Race had already spread. The other Alien Races had most likely received the information, so it was perfectly logical for them to dispatch an expert to kill Li Yang!

Li Yang was a monstrous genius being nurtured by the Human Race's Eternal Saint Hall in this generation. If an Alien Race succeeded in assassinating him, Hei Xu would be guilty of dereliction of duty and face severe punishment.

Therefore, he was the one most worried about something happening to Li Yang.

And now Li Yang had sensed danger?

Although his heart sank, Li Yang had specifically reminded him, so Hei Xu's expression remained calm and unchanged.

'A Tri-System Deity? Even with my strength, it would be difficult to take them down.' A sense of urgency gripped Hei Xu's heart.

He too was only a Tri-System Deity. If the enemy launched a surprise attack, he couldn't guarantee Li Yang's safety with one hundred percent certainty.

Just as this news sent a wave of anxiety through Hei Xu, Li Yang sent another mental transmission. "Mr. Hei Xu, is there a way for you to secretly request a powerful expert from the Human Race to come here and capture that hidden individual?"

Now that they knew their opponent was there, setting a trap to catch them was the best method.

The mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind. This way, there would be no room for accidents.

Hearing Li Yang's suggestion, Hei Xu instantly calmed down.

He had only just learned the news and had been momentarily anxious, whereas Li Yang had known about the situation earlier and had therefore thought things through more.

Even if Li Yang hadn't said anything, Hei Xu would have thought of the same solution after calming down a bit.

Hei Xu pondered for a moment before sending a mental transmission. "Li Yang, not far from the Star Moon Race's territory, there is a major power of our Human Race, overseen by a Dominator-level expert."

"A Dominator-level expert?" Li Yang was startled.

Hei Xu explained, "This is the territory of the Star Moon Race, and they have their own Dominator. They are merely in an alliance with us humans; in essence, they are still an Alien Race, so of course our Human Race must take precautions against them. Otherwise, if the Star Moon Race were to get any ideas, the destruction they could cause would be unimaginable!"

A single Dominator, if they truly went on a rampage, could inflict unimaginable losses on the Human Race in a very short time.

"Of course, it's not just the Star Moon Race. There are other Alien Race groups in this vicinity, some in alliances with our Human Race, others in vassal relationships. So it's imperative to be on guard."

Li Yang nodded upon hearing this.

'Those who are not our kin cannot be trusted.' Right now, everyone was just bound together by mutual interest.

It was just like with his Fire Nether Divine Beast avatar living among the Fire Nether Divine Beast race. He could clearly sense that their attitude toward the Human Race was not friendly; they constantly wanted to break free from their vassal relationship.

Taking necessary precautions was only natural.

"Li Yang, I have a friend in that faction. I'll contact them right away," Hei Xu said.

"However, it will take them some time to arrive. You can go back into the Star Moon Race's territory to stall for a while."

That Human Race power had many experts. Sending just one of them over would be enough to easily deal with the alien assassin.

"Alright," Li Yang nodded.

His gaze shifted to Elder Lie Shu of the Star Moon Race beside him. "Elder Lie Shu, I've just had a flash of insight and need to visit your clan's cultivation ground again. I was wondering if that would be convenient?"

Elder Lie Shu was taken aback by Li Yang's words.

'A flash of insight? He wants to go to the cultivation ground again?'

'What is with this human, Li Yang?'

However, comprehension of the laws was often a sudden affair. Sometimes, one could be stuck at a bottleneck, finding it impossible to break through, but a sudden jolt of inspiration could shatter that bottleneck completely.

With this in mind, Elder Lie Shu smiled and said, "Of course it's convenient. Young Master Li Yang, you can stay in our Star Moon Race's cultivation ground for as long as you like."

"Thank you."

At his words, Li Yang smiled faintly, and the group turned around and entered the Star Moon Race's territory once more.

Meanwhile, not far away, the hidden Werewolf Race assassin was waiting with great anticipation.

'When Li Yang comes over, I will launch a fatal strike! With a surprise attack, not even Hei Xu will be able to stop me. Li Yang, for a Tri-System Deity like me to trade my life for that of a Star Lord Realm genius like you, your death will be a worthy one.'

The Werewolf Race assassin thought to himself.

The Demon Race had truly spared no expense to kill Li Yang!

A Tri-System Deity could absolutely be considered a powerful Deity!

Even if Li Yang grew to his full potential, he might top out as a Four-Element Deity. Countless peerless geniuses ended up stuck at bottlenecks for eons.

Of course, for the Demon Race, it was an expense well worth making!

What was Li Yang's potential? He was not yet sixty years old, yet he had already passed the twelfth step of the Human Race's Path of Deities and even lit up the Star Moon Stele of the Star Moon Race with a purple light!

A purple light meant that it was a certainty Li Yang would become a Four-Element Deity!

With this potential, becoming a Four-Element Deity was merely his starting point!

In the future, it was far more likely that he would become an Emperor!

Therefore, the Demon Race did not want to see that day come, which was why they had dispatched such a powerful combatant right from the start!

The first attempt was always the most likely to succeed. They didn't want to send an ordinary Deity the first time, a Dual Pantheon Deity the second time...

Would that be assassinating Li Yang, or helping him train?

If you're going to assassinate someone, you send your strongest right away!

The Werewolf Race assassin waited, watching as Li Yang, Hei Xu, and Elder Lie Shu came out.

'Lie Shu from the Star Moon Race will definitely go back. When Li Yang comes over, only Hei Xu will be by his side. If I strike suddenly, this Hei Xu won't be able to stop me at all... The human Li Yang is a dead man!'

The Werewolf Race assassin kept his eyes fixed on them, but when he saw their movements up ahead, his expression changed.
