Chapter 1251 - The Only One Who Can Fix the Problem is the One Who Created It

Chapter 1251: The Only One Who Can Fix the Problem is the One Who Created It

Not knowing whether he should be embarrassed or annoyed, once An Yang came back to his senses, he quickly told Jian Yiling that he had some other things to handle before he left.

Even though he liked Hu Jiaojiao, his feelings were worthless. In fact, his feelings would only add to her distress. If that was the case, what was the point in liking her?

It would be best for him to stay far away and not bother her anymore.

Despite thinking this, it was impossible for Hu Jiaojiao to pretend that she didn’t hear those words just now.

An Yang still cared for her. He still liked her.

“Yiling…” Hu Jiaojiao cried out as she hugged her friend. Hu Jiaojiao started crying.

She missed him a lot.

Jian Yiling clumsily patted Hu Jiaojiao’s back to comfort her.

“Yiling, I’m sad… I don’t know what to do… I have no way to change my origin… I have no way to make myself a better person…”

“You don’t need to make yourself a better person. You’re fine as is,” Jian Yiling replied seriously.

In Jian Yiling’s eyes, Hu Jiaojiao was an amazing human being.

“No, no. That’s not true. I’m such a mediocre and average person…” Hu Jiaojiao cried out.

Ever since she was a child, Hu Jiaojiao never had much confidence in herself.

Furthermore, after the encounter with An Yang’s mother, she became even less confident about herself. She didn’t know what her strengths were.

“Yiling I can’t let go of An Yang… I can’t forget about him,,, And yet… I can’t do anything about it… I can’t do anything…” Hu Jiaojiao sobbed.

When Jian Yiling saw her friend sobbing, she was at a loss for words.

When Zhai Yunsheng arrived home, Jian Yiling asked him about his arrangements.

“What are you going to do? Can we really help Jiaojiao and An Yang?”

When it came to these problems, Jian Yiling genuinely did not know how to solve them.

Zhai Yunsheng lowered his head and hugged Jian Yiling before he said: “Call me your husband and I’ll tell you.”

“No,” Jian Yiling replied and she shook her head from side to side.

Despite Jian Yiling not listening to him, Zhai Yunsheng said: “We will go and meet An Yang’s mother. The only one who can fix the problem is the one who created it.”

“What are we meant to say when we meet her?”

“Don’t treat her as An Yang’s mother and don’t treat this as an emotional issue. Treat it as a normal business deal.”

If it was a business deal, Jian Yiling would know what to talk about.

“Okay,” Jane Yiling replied. She was willing to give it a try.

“Tomorrow afternoon, I’ve arranged to meet An Yang’s mother at the Hanging Gardens Restaurant.”

It appeared as though Zhai Yunsheng had already made an appointment.

He knew that Jian Yiling was very concerned with Hu Jiaojiao and An Yang’s situation.

“Thank you.”

Upon hearing this, a wicked smile appeared on Zhai Yunsheng’s face as he said: “I much rather prefer to hear the words husband instead of thank you.”

“No way,” Jian Yiling said as she quickly turned her head away. Her face became flushed.

Every time he asked her to call him “husband,” she would think about the time he teased her all night. Back then, if she refused to call him her “husband,” he wouldn’t continue what he was doing.

The more she thought about it, the more flushed she became.

###

The next day Zhai Yunsheng let Jian Yiling go to see An Yang’s mother by herself.

As An Yang’s grandpa was a big shot in South East Asia, An Yang’s mother was completely spoiled and pampered in her upbringing. She would rarely encounter something that made her unhappy.

Therefore, her son’s choice of a girlfriend was considered to be the worst thing she ever encountered. And thus, she was unwilling to concede or take a step back.

“Miss Jian, I know you’re good friends with my son and I understand your concern for An Yang, but we have already discussed An Yang’s marriage. Please don’t interfere.”

An Yang’s mother then added: “Miss Jian, I am a mother. Therefore, I will certainly not harm my son. Everything that I do is for his good. Furthermore, this is my family’s business. You should not interfere with it.”

Despite saying such things, An Yang’s mother’s attitude towards Jian Yiling was still very polite.

But even if Jian Yiling asked her to change her mind, she would not change her decision.
