Chapter 2146: Chapter 1707: Ghost Solid Body

"Ange’s protection? Is this a new divine technique you’ve grasped?" the Monarch asked.

Divine techniques are manifestations of rule power, and a rule power that can be named after oneself implies it’s unique, because there are no other rules to reference, hence it can only be named after oneself.

Of course, some pretentious individuals name their rules even when they aren’t unique, so sometimes you’ll encounter different names for divine techniques which have quite similar functions.

The creation of divine techniques is not particularly difficult for monarchs and gods; for instance, Death Scythe and King’s Arrival are divine techniques created by the Monarch.

Death Scythe and King’s Arrival are divine techniques, created by the Monarch, based on Undead Godhood. Moreover, he granted these skills to all his subjects through the Soul Network, so anyone reaching the Golden Skull Level could potentially awaken these two skills.

Why can skeletons awaken these two skills upon reaching the Gold Level, while zombies and the undead lack exclusive skills like these? It’s because the Monarch is a skeleton.

Among the Undead, no monarchs of zombies or undead have been born, so there isn’t anyone to create divine techniques exclusive to zombies and the undead.

And even if a divine technique were created, it might not be like the Monarch’s, selflessly attributed to all the undead creatures.

The Monarch’s selflessness is truly selfless, not requiring a soul contact to awaken these two skills.

Due to the dissipating trait of souls, when a subject of the Monarch dies and their soul dissapates, their soul energy disperses nearby. If there is a suitable skeleton nearby, the soul energy might nurture a new skeleton within it.

These newborn skeletons have no soul contact with the Monarch, but because of the nearby dispersal of soul fragments from his subjects, they might still awaken skills.

After several Undead Calamities, almost no undead skeletons on the Master Plane and Resting Abyss are devoid of the Monarch’s soul energy; they just haven’t awakened due to their level.

Yet none of the undead skeletons on the Star Burst Plane or Divine Light Alliance can awaken these two skills.

Ange’s protection can make the protected immune to any soul damage from enemies with lower Soul Strength than Ange.

Who is Ange? He’s the Great Unified Origin of the Seven Forces, with a Soul Network connecting several God Stars, which means there’s hardly anyone in the Void who can inflict soul damage on Ange.

With Ange’s protection, the Monarch doesn’t have to worry about soul damage and can navigate through the Void without concern.

"Hahaha, with your protection, watch me chop him into pieces." the Monarch laughed heartily, his consciousness returning to his body and releasing the Soul Seal.

At this moment, the Exotic Ghost had nearly consolidated a new body, feeling his power continually surging, envisioning himself dismantling that Incremental Body into bones, then dragging the other ghost hiding in the shadows out to dry in the sun. But he suddenly felt his body tremble as he was pulled forward by a huge force.

The thought scanned across, discovering it was the Incremental Body he had restrained, pulling his thought closer to where he was.

Pulling thought? Such a description is very abstract, as thought is formless and traceless, how could it be pulled? But the Monarch indeed grasped it.

This was a power Ange realized when devouring the core and plotting against Gemez Fortress, enabling him to pull someone’s thought to move, and if someone extends their thought to probe, he can pull the other’s thought, thereby finding the other’s position.

Of course, this dragging cannot withstand too much force, but the Monarch also has Star Attraction. It’s the Star Attraction being pulled, then using the Star Attraction to drag the body, like a caterpillar, inching and inching, crawling towards the Exotic Ghost along the thought.

The Exotic Ghost was not shocked but pleased, making such a move implies that the other side has released their soul seal.

The Exotic Ghost was really troubled by the Monarch’s soul seal, originally his Soul Strength could overpower the Monarch, but because of the soul seal, that overwhelming advantage vanished.

Moreover, the Monarch was exceptionally slippery, sealing and unsealing without pattern, preventing him from attacking the Monarch’s soul during the unseal gap.

This feeling is like playing Whack-a-Mole, where you can never hit the emerging mole, making him feel so frustrated.

Now it’s better, the other dared to release the seal, to make such nimble moves requires unsealing.

Without hesitation, the Exotic Ghost smashed a Soul Impact towards him.

With a bang, a gigantic figure emerged behind the Monarch, like a copper wall, bearing the Soul Impact; not only couldn’t hurt his soul, but instead made the Exotic Ghost see stars.

The Exotic Ghost was both angry and surprised, just now he was dealing with the sealed soul, but now the aura and energy remained unchanged, yet easily withstood the soul attack, even counteracting him.

Undoubtedly, the other received protection from a more powerful being.

A stronger being? As soon as this thought arose, the Exotic Ghost felt a chill. What kind of powerful being could possess a soul stronger than his own?

He is an Exotic Ghost, a weapon specialized for attacking God Star Souls, inherently possessing Star Soul level Soul Strength, with only the Branch Lords from various branches having stronger Soul Strength than him in the Void.

This is why he never attacks the Branch Lords, he can’t win.

And now something capable of counteracting him in soul attack is surely a Branch Lord, a powerful existence of that level. Could it be that a Branch Lord got involved, or is the other ghost possessing Branch Lord level power?

"Whether you’re a Branch Lord or another ghost, today I’ll let you die under my Ghost Solid Body." the Exotic Ghost muttered through clenched teeth.

Exotic Ghost belongs to soul attack, targeting the God Star’s Star Soul while removing all life’s imprints, but causes not much physical damage to the God Star.

God Stars disintegrate because they can’t consolidate themselves after losing the Star Soul, not due to Exotic Ghost’s attacks.

This creates a shortcoming, the Exotic Ghost’s physical attacks are too weak. To make up for this weakness, the Supreme Will bestowed him a skill - Ghost Solid Body.

Using mighty forces to overlap the ghost’s body dozens of times, condensing an invincible solid body between ghost and substance, capable of breaking anything in the Void.

The Supreme Will said this when teaching him Ghost Solid Body, whether it’s that powerful, the Exotic Ghost hasn’t tried. Now’s a good time to test it on the skeleton before him.

Releasing the restraint on the Monarch, the Hell Ghost rapidly approached, swinging a punch.

The Monarch shouted: "Good timing." Stepping forward, he threw a punch.

Both fists fiercely clashed in the Void, sending the Monarch flying away.
