After infusing a large amount of memory, the white crystal didn’t explode, but that consciousness went insane, letting out meaningless roars and howls inside the white crystal, with grotesque shadowy faces continuously stretching outward.

Negris asked, "What’s going on here?"

Durken scratched his head and awkwardly said, "Memory conflict. I stuffed several different memories into his consciousness, and I didn’t expect them to conflict."

Negris questioned in confusion, "Why did you put several different memories inside?"

Durken replied, "The information from one memory was too little to fill up its consciousness."

Negris remarked with frustration, "If you think the information is too little, give it a star map, or climate change data, or even dimension trajectory calculations. If that doesn’t work, you can stuff it with magic epics."

Durken spat out a mouthful of old blood, "The whole set of more than three hundred thousand volumes, each with two hundred pages, all of them are magic epics murmured by Elemental Sprites? Who in their right mind would read that? Writing such things down is a waste of paper."

Negris suddenly realized, "Right, the information from your memory isn’t enough to fill the white crystal. Let me handle it, but first, wipe its memory."

Durken erased the consciousness’s memory, allowing Negris to re-inject it.

Quickly, Negris filled its consciousness with various common knowledge and data until it was completely full. Trying to add any more memory would just cause the previous ones to be forgotten, yet the white crystal still showed no change.

Ursman said, "It seems that just filling it with memory isn’t enough; it needs other conditions, like its level. Did you reach the Void-level when you awakened?"

The last question was directed at the Star Forger.

After inquiring about what a Void-level is, the Star Forger gave a positive answer, "Of course, only the strongest Star Descendants qualify to participate in the awakening ceremony."

Durken then sought help from Ange again, to elevate the Star Descendant to Void-level.

Seeing Ange tap twice, a white crystal that was blank just minutes ago, forcibly elevated to Void. The Star Forger’s eyes almost popped out, "Is this the God of Star Race?"

"The God of Star Race, if you want to think of it that way, you can," said Magris with hands on hips.

Isn’t the God Star just the god of Star Descendants? Ange has several God Stars and the status of Lord of the Divine Star, way higher than the God of Star Race.

With the level raised to the highest and memory fully loaded, yet the white crystal still showed no change.

Ursman pondered, "All conditions have been met, but the reason it can’t metamorphose might be due to the lack of a catalyst. Memory awakening might be such a catalyst, re-expanding the white crystal that was already packed with memory. This method, when applied to organisms, is called the functional compensation mechanism; we can give it a try."

Ange sealed some memories and inserted them into the white crystal. Then he lifted the seal.

Crack! The white crystal immediately split open.

Negris regretfully murmured, "Failed again."

But Ursman and Anthony shook their heads, "No, it succeeded."

Negris angrily said, "It clearly failed. The white crystal cracked open."

Anthony explained, "No, removing the seal triggered a reaction in the white crystal, indicating that it’s an effective action. The reason for failure isn’t the action itself but the intensity of the action. The next step is to compare and find the safe threshold for sealing memories."

Upon hearing about comparison, Ange got moving. He was very familiar with control experiments.

He saw Ange point his finger at the broken white crystal; with his other hand, he twisted counterclockwise. The originally shattered crystal reassembled as if being played in reverse; the cracks vanished, the seal disappeared, returning to the moment before the memory was sealed.

"Hiss... Time reversal? You can use this maneuver outside too?" Negris inhaled sharply.

Ange had only used time reversal in the Space-Time Domain before; little did they expect he could use it outside as well.

Time reversal is simply a divine technique for control experiments. Ange continuously adjusted the amount of information being sealed: twenty-five percent, fifty percent, seventy-five percent...

At seventy percent of this information level, the white crystal cracked with tiny fissures then healed, then cracked again, and healed once more. After repeating three to five times, the white crystal doubled in size.

Negris excitedly said, "Sure enough, as long as the white crystal and consciousness are elevated to the highest level, and then expanded with the right amount of information, you can enlarge the white crystal."

"The change is that significant? Comparable to a Dark Star?" Negris asked in astonishment.

The gap between a God Star and a Star Descendant is tremendous, akin to the gap between a Plane and humans. Even a Dark Star isn’t something a Star Descendant can be compared to.

Durken’s implication is that what can be contained within a human body is comparable to what’s contained within a Plane, which is indeed surprising.

However, after a second thought, Negris asked, "What good is there in having a large memory capacity?"

Durken said, "I don’t know what the benefit of having a large memory capacity is, but the feedback from consciousness fragments to the God Star is an increment. A larger carrying capacity implies a stronger consciousness, potentially resulting in a larger feedback increment. But these are just my speculations and need to be validated by you, my Lords, as I can’t see the increment."

Everyone was invigorated, "What? It can also enhance the feedback increment?"

What is increment? The Void is conserved, its total amount is fixed. A God Star explodes, turning into various substances and energy, dispersing around. The dispersed matter aggregates and ignites, recombining into a God Star.

A seed germinates into a towering tree, which after death, decays to nourish the land. Animals are born, grow, and die, climates change, tides rise and fall, water flows downward. Everything—all of it—the total amount is fixed, only the forms keep changing.

Increment, however, is the only increasing energy within these constant totals. With increment, a God Star can exist eternally; with it, living beings can achieve eternal life.

Ange scratched his head, and after a while, said, "Compare."
