I giggled to myself as I swayed my legs in the air behind me. I wrote down in my diary, making accounts, without leaving anything out.

I haven’t stopped giggling like a fool either, as though everything was just so... amusing.

I paused, chewing the inside of my mouth. God, what am I doing?

I sat up holding my diary, and flipping through the pages about my dirty little secret. Zade.

A man I knew nothing about. I met him at the club with a bullet wound and then everything turned side ways. We crossed paths again and from then on it became a habit.

Club Rouge became our meeting spot. He was always there... waiting as though he knew I would come, like he knew I couldn’t resist him.

In fact, I can’t. There was just something about him... I knew he was dangerous, and I knew whatever this was-was so wrong, and I should probably stop before things get ugly.

But this was different. Zade was the first man that had ever looked at me and wasn’t influenced by my sister.

I know, I know. That sounded really dumb, but it was just how I felt.

Ever since I could understand things, I realized I was always in my sister’s shadow. We shared a lot of things growing up, and my friends were hers. None of them were my true friends.

The main reason I picked ballet was that it was something I loved and something that she didn’t.

In some way, everything I have always owned and wanted was hers. It didn’t seem fair. I love my sister, but I don’t wanna spend the rest of my life living in her shadow.

I’m Anastasia Morri. Shouldn’t I have something I should call my own?

Zade. He was a secret... and he was mine.

I froze. Whoa whoa whoa! What was that about? I shook my head. Did I just call that impossible, sexiest man I have ever met... mine?

I scoffed at myself. Really, Ana? That walking Greek god probably has tons of women throwing themselves at him and dropping their panties at the sound of that irresistible voice that could bring down the walls of your heart.

However, the moment that thought spawned as well as a foul feeling, I recalled how he couldn’t take his eyes off me, he always had his full attention on me as if everything else was a distraction.

I jolted when my phone buzzed from an incoming text. I grabbed it and froze. H-He texted me. I wasn’t really sure he would when I flat-out gave him my number!

After pulling that stunt, it bit me in the ass when I got home, and I spent the night screaming into my pillow like a maniac.

With shaky hands, I opened the message box and a smile curled on my lips.

UNKNOWN: Hello, little kitten.

I quickly typed a reply.

Me: It’s been two days since I gave you my number.

Was that too desperate? I mean, it’s not like I have been gaping at my phone at the opportunity of that one text.

UNKNOWN: I didn’t realize you miss me already.

I licked my lips, still caught up on that taste of whiskey and mint. God, it was so intoxicating, and I was instantly teleported to the day we kissed at that club.

I was such a clumsy kisser, and I ran on the fuel that I was just eager to feel his lips on mine because it was so addicting, but at the same time I was in turmoil with myself.

Zade on other hand, when he kissed me it was like I was something to devour, something that made him insatiable.

I wanna kiss him again.

I was brought back to earth when my phone rang. H-He’s calling me. Without so much as thinking, I slide the answer button.

I slowly pressed the phone to my ear, my breath coming off shakily and covering the tight silence that lingered with heat. Where’s the heat coming from?

Breathe Ana. Breathe. And fucking say something!

"Cat got your tongue, little kitten?"

Lord help me!

That muscular voice through the phone was something else entirely. Add that to the speaker.

I’m in fucking trouble.

I collapsed on my bed. "Should you be calling me at this hour, Zadey?"

"Careful how you throw that name around... especially when you say it with such disrespect."

Someone’s on a bad edge this hot afternoon.

"I’ve always been disrespectful," I teased, tracing my finger up and down my thigh, feeling chills each time his voice rolled off like thunder.

"That’s because I let you."

I rolled onto my front and raised my legs in the air and swayed them behind me.

"How about you don’t?" I challenged him, feeling a swirl of thrill race through me. "What are you gonna do about it?"

There was silence until I thought maybe he had ended the call.

I checked, but the call was still on.

"Have you ever touched yourself, little kitten?"

My breath caught, and I just stayed there frozen... until my mouth moved, almost robotic.

"N-No?"

He chuckled, and my speaker vibrated from that mere sound.

"Liar. You’re gonna regret that."

I swallowed a thick breath and turned onto my back, my chest rising and falling heavily.

"What are you wearing?"

"My nightdress. It’s easier for the heat."

"Let me guess, blue."

"How did you—"

"It’s easy to tell."

"I-I mean..." I couldn’t find the right words.

I knew he was very observant, but this was just.. I felt a warmth creep around my chest.

"Now tell me, kitten."

My breath shuddered.

"How about I take it out on you from here? Do you want that?"

My legs spread wide automatically, my finger moving along my thigh.

"Yes..." I whispered, thinking he hadn’t heard me. Yet somehow, I could feel the smile tugging at his lips.

"Are you wet? Or do I need to do the honors?"

I moved my hand further, pushing my panties aside as I felt the mess I was already making since the moment I saw his text.

"I’m wet."

I heard him exhale heavily, followed by a low rumble. "Good girl."
