Wen Ran’s tone was gentle and calm. She looked at Bai Yuqin’s haggard face, which made it clear she hadn’t had a good night’s rest.

“Ranran, did Yiyi tell you why she left G City? And what arrangements she made for Tongtong?” Bai Yuqin hesitated momentarily before asking, her tone uncertain.

Wen Ran’s eyes flickered. “Yiyi didn’t tell me why, only that she had left G City and that we shouldn’t try to find her. She may never return.”

“What about Tongtong?”

“She asked me to tell my brother that he should be the one raising Tongtong.”
