First Demonic Dragon

Chapter 546 Straga Needs Help…

Inside of a bedroom that was large enough to qualify as a luxury apartment, a seemingly fifteen year-old Straga lay on the floor in the dark.

The curtains were drawn closed, the t.v. was off, and the young boy lay with a pillow covering his chest as he listened to the headphones covering his ears.

With the setting perfect, and his feelings running low, there was only one thing that he could do.

Sing until it didn’t hurt anymore.

“My momma told me to make it work~ But Usher told me to let it burn.

I used to see you call my phone and get butterflies~ These days my stomach turn.

I don’t know why I think about you all the time, I was hoping this is love and you ain’t just down for the ride.

Tell me, what could make a grown man lay down and cry?

Maybe what he thought was real love, he watched die-“

*BANG!*

Straga’s door was completely kicked off it’s hinges and all ten of his mothers came flying in like bullets; along with the addition of little Nubia.

Bekka: “MOUSE!”

Lailah: “Mommies are here!”

Lisa: “What’s the matter?!”

Tatiana: “A-Are you sick!? Injured!?”

Seras: “Is someone picking on you at school!?”

Valerie: “Think seriously, Seras!”

Seras: “Shit, right!”

Straga stared at his mother’s through bags in the corners of his eyes and seemed to only barely recognize their presence.

“Oh, hey moms.. I don’t want any lunch today or anything.”

This only seemed to make his mothers’ fears even worse.

Hearing Straga say that he didn’t want food was like hearing their husband say he didn’t want sex.

It just didn’t happen!

Valerie pulled off her son’s headphones and raised them up to her ear.

When she caught the end of what sounded like her other son’s moody playlist, her heart nearly broke into two.

“Baby boy… What exactly has gotten into you..?”

Straga’s mouth opened and closed for a moment before he just rolled over with his back facing his mothers.

“Nothing… I am just a little tired today I guess.”

“He’s lying!” Nubia volunteered. “He’s sad and it has something to do with Monica!”

“S-Snitch!”

“I don’t know what that means!”

Straga sat up and looked at his sister with pure betrayal in his eyes, but Nubia remained uncaring as she folded her little arms across her chest.

“This is about…Monica?” Erica asked in confusion.

The blood in Straga’s body seemed to rush to his ears as he rolled back over.

But this time, Bekka just turned him back around and placed her hand on his chest so that he couldn’t move.

Now that they knew this was about girl troubles, the wives were decidedly less panicked and even just a little bit amused.

“Straga, what does this have to do with Monica? Why would you be sad over her?” Erica asked.

The bronze dragon seemed to realize that he had no chance to escape and finally spat out the truth.

“I just… I do not think she likes me in the same way that I like her. I’m pretty sure she still sees me as a kid, and she likes that guy Brodus from the Euphrates.”

For some reason, one could see a smile on the corners of Erica’s lips. “Oh yeah? Why would you think that?”

“…”

“Come on, son. You can be honest with us.”

“…I might’ve.. went to follow her after she left the house earlier. She went to go see him and she was at his house for hours… I had to do my breathing exercises so that I didn’t blow the whole thing apart..”

Brodus, the storm dragon is something of a well-known celebrity.

He is a veteran member of the Euphrates army, and one of Konami’s best, and he also happens to be a relatively handsome young dragon.

But there was one thing Straga didn’t seem to be aware of.

“Sweetie… I don’t think you need to worry about Brodus.” Erica snickered.

“Eh? Why..?”

“Well… he’s like your sister.”

“Annoying? Muscular? Bloodthirsty? Smart? A twin?”

‘Which am I..?’ Nubia wondered.

“N-no, not that.” Erica said. “You two aren’t playing for the same team.”

“Eh? But I like all sports!”

“Y-Yes honey, but what I’m trying to say is-“

Tatiana finally decided to cut her explanation short, since she was failing so miserably at it.”He likes men, big guy.”

“Oh…OHHHH!!”

“Uh-huh.”

Straga finally sat up, and his eyes were no longer despondent.

“You sure, mom?? What are your sources?? Ms. Teage says we have to cite those if we make a claim!”

Tatiana rolled her eyes as she was once again amused by her son’s interest in school.

“Sources..? I think everyone knows that. It isn’t a secret.”

Straga saw all of his mothers nodding in agreement and he suddenly felt like he’d been let in on a massive secret.

But again, he hadn’t.

“So then… Why would she stay over there for all of those hours?”

“The Euphrates admittance trial is coming up in a couple of weeks.” Erica answered. “Monica has decided that she wants to apply, so I connected her with Brodus so that he could help her brush up on some skills before the test.”

“Oh… I had no idea.” Straga said, somewhat embarrassed and extremely relieved.

Lailah ruffled her son’s inky black hair as she laughed. “Next time, try asking questions instead of stalking her, dear. You’ll spare yourself some heartache that way.”

Straga nodded, but he seemed to be doing quite a bit of internal reflection.

“I… I don’t know what’s wrong with me. It seems like the more I grow, the harder it gets to talk to her. She makes me feel… I can’t explain it. I just want to be closer to her than anyone else.”

“AWWWWWWWEEEEEE!!!!!!”

The collective coos nearly deafened young Straga, and he was assaulted with embraces from every one of his monstrous mothers.

They were talking all at once and so fast that Straga could only barely manage to hear what they were saying.

Long story short, they were all trying to give their advice at once.

But in the midst of this maternal TED talk, young Straga had an epiphany.

If he wanted to do this right, there was one person he felt could help him more than anyone else.

He suddenly stood up, already knowing what he had to do.

“I’m going to wake up dad and get him to help me!”

*Flash!*

In a burst of light, Straga was gone from the room, leaving his mothers dazed and confused before they inevitably realized what their son had just said.

All: “NOO!!!!”

Teleporting into the room where Abaddon slept, the wives found that Straga had already gotten to child Abaddon first.

He had already yanked the poor young lad out of bed and was now shaking him like he had never heard of ‘shaken baby syndrome’ in his life.

“Dad, you gotta turn back to normal, I need your help! I need to know how to get the women of my dreams but I’m no good with talking! Help me! I don’t wanna die a virgin like you did before!”

Abaddon had quite literally gotten whiplash from the way that Straga jerked him around so desperately, and it looked like his head was about to fly off at any second.

Simultaneously, Abaddon’s mind was a jumbled mess.

‘What is this crazy kid talking about!?’

‘Who is he calling dad, whose his dad!?’

‘What’s a virgin??!

‘Somebody get this guy off of me please! He’s hurting me!’

“Dad, you really gotta help me!” Straga pleaded. “I want to be just like you!!”

As if he was struck by a right hook from a professional fighter, Abaddon felt his brain be rattled in a way that was completely different from his son’s shaking.

He began to experience a headache similar to earlier, only this one was much worse.

Lailah was finally able to pry Straga away from his father but by then it was too late.

Instead of flopping back onto the bed, Abaddon instead began to float upwards as his eyes rolled into the back of his head.

“Eh? Honey…?”

Abaddon gave no answer to Lisa as all of his flesh and skin burned away.

All that was left behind was a mass of energy so powerful and profound that if the wives were not actively trying to contain it, it might have blown the whole house apart again.

No, more like the whole forest.

Out of the mass of light, a deeply unfamiliar and incredibly monstrous voice rang out into the room.

“Si mi guawy… kagh ferakle. Shio drong for ve, shio zklaen rannox ekess ve.”

Straga winced as he lightly tugged on Lisa’s dress. “Ma, what’d he say..? I can’t quite understand him.”

Lisa wiped away the small trail of blood running from Straga’s ears as she tried to figure out why they could understand Abaddon and their son could not, even though the words were still spoken in draconic.

“Ah… He said; I am heaven… and oblivion. All will long for me, all must return to me.”

As soon as Lisa translated, the energy started to condense and shape itself, and a new figure started to come back into view.
