Chapter 379 Belloc Tathamet : The Death Dragon
Chapter 379 Belloc Tathamet : The Death Dragon
“AGGHHHHH!! I HATE YOU FOR DOING THIS TO MEE!!!”
“You don’t mean that, love. He is almost here, just keep pushing.”
“I-I’M TRYING, BUT OUR SON INHERITED YOUR BIG ASS HORNS!”
“Yours aren’t that much smaller than mine though…”
“ABADDONNNNNN!!!”
“Right, just relax.”
Abaddon placed his hand across Audrina’s sweaty forehead and a small pink light encased his palm.
His wife’s body became noticeably less tense, and the frightening amount of rage in her system began to flee at a rapid rate.
The rest of the wives were standing around the bed, wearing matching expressions of worry and nervousness.
Seras : “Hey… I wasn’t this bad, was-“
All: “Yes.”
Seras: “Y-You guys don’t mean tha-“
Bekka: “Yes we do.”
Lailah: “Actually you were worse than her.”
Eris: “We never knew if you were going to try to fuck us to death or bite or heads off.”
Abaddon: “I was away during the time, but I am told this is an accurate depiction of events.”
Despondent, Seras poked out her lips and squatted down in the corner as she traced a circle in the ground.
“I-It wasn’t my fault… I was just dealing with a hormone imbalance…I wasn’t prepared for the mood swings and cravings and stuff…”
“I-It’s coming!” Audrina cried.
With Lillian and Lisa waiting to receive the baby, Audrina squeezed Abaddon’s hand for the final time as she gave it one last push.
A head finally popped out, and Lisa pulled ever so gently until the baby finally came out with a wet popping sound, and a gust of power.
WHOOSH!!
The eyes of all of the adults in the room went wide as they watched their fifth child shine with a dull glow.
“I don’t believe this…”
“He was just born but…”
“He’s a demigod…” Abaddon muttered.
Suddenly, a pouch sitting on a dresser in the corner of the room started to float upwards, and a small black stone slipped out of the opening.
In the next moment, the stone flew towards the baby and disappeared within his forehead, causing Abaddon and his wives to become even more surprised.
Upon killing Hel, Abaddon looted four stones upon destroying her soul that represented her divinities.
Abaddon had been saving them and was planning to dole them out to his wives at a later time, but it seemed as though one had already chosen his son.
And judging by the familiar wispy dark aura that was nw drifting off the baby, he knew exactly which one his son had taken.
‘The death element… My, aren’t we such an overachiever already.’
Abaddon stared down fondly at his son who was just beginning to open his eyes.
Like all of his children, he was a very cute baby.
He had rich dark skin that was currently being cleaned of birth goop and a head of steel-grey hair that contained, as Audrina had pointed out, a pair of big ass horns that were a mix of hers and Abaddon’s.
He had deep black eyes that appeared to be empty at first glance, but to everyone here they could sense an unyielding curiosity from them.
Lisa fought the urge to smother her new son outright as she passed him to Audrina with great difficulty.
Though she was exhausted, the goddess was clearly elated to see that her baby had been delivered safely.
“My dear Belloc… I am very glad to meet you again.”
Belloc looked around at all of the women in the room and spoke in a small and cute voice. “Mother… Which…?”
Belloc could feel familiarity with every single one of Abaddon’s wives.
And to make matters even stranger, he could tell that he somehow shared blood with all of them as well.
It was impossible for him to tell exactly which of them had given birth to him.
Audrina smiled fondly as she held her son gently and introduced him to their family.
“We are all your mother’s dear, and we all love you very very much. And this…”
Audrina suddenly pulled Abaddon closer and held out Belloc as if she were waiting for him to take him.
“Is your father, dear. Say hello~”
Belloc wanted to say something, but the newborn was completely frozen instead.
As it stared at this egregiously handsome man with long blooded hair and alarming inhuman eyes, it was filled with feelings of fear and reverence.
No one had bothered to put a diaper on him yet, but he was already mere seconds away from shitting himself.
Abaddon reached out and took the newborn into his arms and held him fondly with a small smile on his face.
“My son is afraid of me? I confess to feeling a bit hurt, since you certainly have no need to be.”𝔬𝐯xt.𝗇t
Belloc seemed to relax just a bit due to some sort of outside force but he still seemed not to quite understand what he was seeing in front of him.
“Father.. power… bottomless..?”
“Oh? Trying to become my favorite already?”
“…?”
Belloc wasn’t much for spoken language in his old life and even though everyone here was speaking in dohvazul, he still wasn’t sure if he was properly comprehending conversation.
Because Abaddon noticed his confusion, he also became confused.
“When your sister was being born she sifted through a fair bit of our memories to gain understanding. Are you incapable of doing the same?”
“I… slumbered… instead.”
Abaddon / Bekka : “You really are my son…”
Abaddon placed a small finger against his child’s temple and an influx of memories ere shared with his newborn.
After a few seconds, Belloc blinked a few more times before looking around with a renewed sense of clarity.
“Oh… family.. I get it now.”
Belloc floated out of his father’s grasp and drifted around the room and met the rest of his mothers.
For the most part, he seemed to like them all and even allowed the girls to give him kisses; showing that he wasn’t quite as standoffish when it came to affection as Gabbrielle had been at first.
However, when he ended up in front of Eris he froze once again.
No one could exactly say why, but it just seemed as though he was afraid that something would happen if she touched him.
And naturally, Eris had a slightly crestfallen look.
“Belloc-“
Knok, knock, knock!
“Hey! Can we come in now??” A voice yelled from outside the door.
Belloc tilted his head as he stared at the door curiously. “Who are all of those people outside?”
“Oh, those are the rest of your family. Would you like to meet them, my son?” Lailah asked.
Lailah opened the door with a wave of her hand, and like a damn that had been broken a stream of new faces came crashing in.
In the blink of an eye, the room was filled with guests.
Asmodeus, Yara, Kirina, Sei, Hajun, Apophis, Thea, Gabbrielle, Mira, Kanami, Malenia, and even the always bubbly Lusamine had all shown up with gifts for the new baby.
Most of the adults had shown up with more practical items like clothes or other trinkets.
Sei even gifted the young child some of the best spell books in her collection.
However, Hajun undoubtedly came the best prepared.
Stepping forward, he smiled proudly with one arm full of toys and the other holding a great weapon.
“It’s nice to meet you, grandson! When I heard you were coming, I was so excited that I could hardly rest peacefully as I tried to think of the perfect gifts for you!”
“Ohhh…”
Belloc’s eyes became locked onto the giant battle axe that his grandfather held in his hand that was even taller than he was.
“That is for me..?”
“Of course! Would you… oh?”
Suddenly, the battle axe started to float out of Hajun’s grasp and floated towards the baby that was still wrapped in a blanket.
Belloc freed one of his small hands and touched the weapon on the enormous blade.
Immediately, the weapon coursed with deathly power that most in the room had shrank back in front of.
“Why does it feel as if new brother is strangely powerful..?” Gabbrielle asked suspiciously.
“Your brother was born an incomplete demigod, my dear.” Abaddon explained.
Needless to say, the Tathamet children each wanted to cry as they stared at their floating baby brother.
Thea: “I-I… I’m still the oldest so you have to listen to me and let me hug you!”
Apophis: “I was looking forward to teaching a brother how to fight.. now I feel as if I am not in your weight class…”
Mira: “Big sister Mira will still teach you to skin animals!” (And torture people.)
Gabbrielle: “I’m still the baby here though…You will not take that away from me.”
Belloc thought that these siblings of his were strange, but they were still likeable.
Eventually he floated into Thea’s arms and allowed her to hold him as if he were a loaf of bread.
“Thank you for the gifts everyone… they are very much appreciated.”
“AWWW!!”
Immediately, everyone in the room became smitten with the newest member of the family, and their excitement reached a fever pitch.
Yara: “We have to tell the people that the second prince has been born!”
Hajun: “Our first festival in our new home…. We have to put on the greatest show yet.”
Lusamine: “I want to get drunk and wake up in a bed full of men and women I don’t even know!”
Malenia: “You already do that every Saturday, you slut…”
Valerie: “I wonder how my festival divinity will react once I’m in the midst of one…”
Abaddon hated to be the one to ruin everyone’s plans, but he had to burst their bubbles just a bit.
“I am sorry, all. Unfortunately we will have to take a break from festivities for a while, since we have to be ready for war in ten days.”
Sei: “E-Eh?!”
Malenia: “Against who?!”
Mira: “I can be ready in two!”
Abaddon found his daughter’s response to be the cutest, and he patted her on the head while wearing a small smile.
“That’s my girl. I may very well select you as one of my representatives.”
“Representative??”
Abaddon explained to his family the full extent of his wager with Asherah and their clash against Samyaza’s nephilim.
He explained the stipulations, rewards, as well as the fact that he wasn’t allowed to participate.
While everyone was surprised, they did not shy away from the battle ahead of them and immediately began to think of next steps forward.
“It is strange to know that you will not be able to fight alongside us, brother. But I assure you that your forces will make you proud.” Malenia said.
“But have you put any serious thought into your representatives? You have a lot of competent vassals to choose from.” asked Kirina.
Abaddon ran his hands through his hair as he let out a deep sigh.
“I was still making up my mind about that. I was planning to come to a firm decision tonight and inform everyone in the morning.”
Suddenly, the smallest voice in the room chirped up from within the arms of his big sister.
“Can I participate?”
