First Demonic Dragon

Chapter 1278 1278: The Black Sea

“So… What does this one do..?”

Courtney scantily dragged her fingers over a console lined with bright buttons and fancy levers.

Fiona gulped, knowing that her girlfriend likely didn’t care very much about the functions of her technology. Just the same, she didn’t know if she cared enough to explain it.

The dragon was overbearingly eye-catching.

In her simple outfit of a black sports bra and baggy sweatpants, most of her gorgeous body was on display for Fiona to admire or drool at whenever she got the urge.

…Fiona got that urge a lot.

“That’s, umm…Actually, I’m having a hard time remembering at the moment…”

The giggle that Courtney released sounded more beautiful than any song.

She slipped her arm around Fiona’s waist and pulled her in close. “Be honest… just how many other people have you brought on board this thing other than me?”

“Are you asking because you might be jealous?”

“No… Just feeling a little competitive. If you have good memories here with other women, then I would have to do my best to overwrite them with new ones. Can’t have you thinking about anyone else if-“

“I brought a lot of women here. Tons. Men too. Orgies all over the place. Vaginal and anal. I was strapped and strapped on. Real hardcore fantasy stuff. Especially in my chair over there, specifically.” Fiona hooked her thumb over her shoulder.

Courtney giggled again as she lifted her chatty girlfriend into her arms. “Oh wow. Seems like we’ve got a whole lot of ground to cover. Best we get started now then~.”

Fiona’s body hit her chair rather abruptly. Courtney placed a finger on her belt buckle and began snaking it into the loop.

Her anticipation had nearly reached a fever pitch, but then… Courtney was suddenly sitting in her lap with her headphones on and an open comic book in her hand.

“…What?”

The sound of the bay doors sliding open came from behind her, and a familiar southern voice echoed shortly afterward.

“Little Fi-fi, you in here?”

Fiona died a little bit inside. “Yeah… I’m here.”

Abaddon walked around to the front of the bridge, where Fiona’s chair sat nestled in the middle of the room.

When Courtney saw her father’s foot out of the corner of her eye, she looked up at him innocently, removing her headphones. “Dad? What are you doing up so late?”

“Ah… A monarch’s life is never peaceful, my dear daughter. Perhaps you’ll find that out for yourself one day.” He kissed her on top of her head.

“…I’ve literally seen you and moms sleep for like a week at a time.”

“Hush, girl, you don’t know what you’re talking about.” Abaddon covered his daughter’s ears with her headphones once again before turning to Fiona.

“I’m sorry to come changing our plans this late at night, but my wives and I are going to have to take a small detour.”

Fiona raised her brow. “Missing your love nest already?”

“Almost every second of every day, but that’s not the point.”

“Gross.”

“You brought it up. Anyway, Bashenga has asked us for help with something, so we’ll be stepping out for a bit.”

Courtney and Fiona both looked concerned for different reasons.

“I don’t wanna tell you not to go off to help your son, but does it really have to be you who goes…? I mean, the ship is still looking for the rock 24/7, but your senses are still a lot better than our scanners. You’d probably pick it up a lot sooner than we would.”

Fiona wouldn’t voice her fears aloud, but she didn’t have to.

She was so desperate not to miss anything because she had no earthly idea what might happen if Abaddon’s alternate got ahold of a stone with his blood on it.

The chance that he would not be as easygoing and altruistic as the dragon she had come to know was all too high.

Abaddon was only the way he was because of his family and the people around him. But if his variant was different in any way, then he might become a greater enemy than their forces were equipped to deal with.

Not to mention there was no way to know what might happen to the version she already knew…

“Try not to worry so much, you’ll end up as wrinkly as your father.” Abaddon patted Fiona on the head.

Somewhere deep within the ship, Shin sat up, irritated for a reason he could not easily identify.

“I’m just saying we’re in a bit of a race against time here… If we can’t find the stone quickly, then we’re going to have to deal with final boss evil you.”

“Mm! Already met that guy.” Courtney interrupted. “He came out when I was eight, after I told him I liked boxed mac and cheese instead of baked.”

Flames spurted from Abaddon’s nose. He closed his eyes before he got dragged into more of his daughter’s attempts to rage-bait him.

“Children are a blessing… children are a blessing… children are… a blessing.” he sighed.

Courtney pointed to her father as if to say. ‘See?’

The dragon took a deep breath to control himself.

“That aside… Bashenga isn’t usually one to ask for help. So if he’s contacting me, then it must be something that dire. My duplicates are still flying around searching. I’ll leave Apophis and Mira on board, since they’re the best trackers we have. I don’t believe we’ll miss anything, so try not to worry so much.”

“I’ll try…” Fiona sighed.

Abaddon turned back toward the door, waving the girls goodbye.

“We’re heading out now, since we don’t want to keep him waiting. If all goes well, it shouldn’t take that long.”

“Good luck old man.” Courtney held up a peace sign.

“Thanks, little lotus. You two can go back to whatever degeneracy you were doing before I walked in.”

Bashenga sat cross-legged atop a large stone, his gaze firmly locked into the distance.

“You do not look very happy with the knowledge that your parents are coming.”

Everdra circled Bashenga like an inquisitive hound with her hands clasped behind her back.

“I have not met your parents before. Why do you dread their arrival so? Are they cruel to you?”

Bashenga showed a rare half smile at the notion that his parents could treat him cruelly. He honestly didn’t believe they were capable of the act.

“They are… an enthusiastic bunch.”

“About?”

“My siblings. Each other. Our family.”

“That sounds nice.”

“It… can be. When they aren’t being overly enthusiastic.”

“What do you mean by over-“

“You might want to step back.”

Everdra tilted her head as she stepped back, not understanding why Bashenga was staring up at the clouds with a slightly exhausted expression.

And then, a blast of lightning rushed down from the sky, taking the form of a busty yellow dragoness with curly chestnut colored hair.

The ground shook terribly at the goddess’s landing. Displaced earth tumbled through the air before falling into the newly created crater.

Lisa took Bashenga into her arms and planted kisses on the cheek by the dozens. “My baby!!!”

“…I am not-“

The rest of Bashenga’s mothers began dropping out of the sky after Lisa.

They each took turns taking the boy into their arms, embracing him as if they had not seen him in person for twenty years. (It had been two weeks.)

Abaddon and K’ael descended from the sky at a much slower pace. The young prince was still gnawing on the popcorn from their impromptu binge night.

“Father… Is this what happens when one moves out?”

“Sure is, son. That’s why you need to think very carefully before you break your mothers’ hearts.”

K’ael shivered as the dragons touched the ground.

Rather than immediately go and join in on all of the hugging, Abaddon stepped around the mass of bodies to gaze at the horizon.

What he saw made him pause and knit his brows in a concerned frown.

“I assume… this is what brother needed our help with?” K’ael swallowed.

“…It seems like it.”

The dragons continued to marvel at the seemingly endless black landscape stretched out before them. Shifting black tentacles covered every tree, blade of grass, and infested every body of water.

Numerous beady yellow eyes trained on Abaddon as soon as he arrived.

Without warning, a giant wave of ink lurched into the sky, intent on consuming this great prize…
