First Demonic Dragon

Chapter 1179: Accident Children

Chapter 1179: Accident Children

Abaddon had split himself to make the task more efficient.

Helping as many as ten people at a time was the most practical way to get through an entire cargo hold of 1,500 split-minded gods.

However, that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt like hell.

Every time that Abaddon used the new powers that he still didn’t understand, his mind felt like it was being kicked by a professional soccer player.

By the time he had helped a hundred of them, his nose had started bleeding and his sweating had become worse.

These were symptoms that all ten of his bodies tried to hide, but when one of his wives was basically part bloodhound, that was next to impossible.

“Stareee….”

Abaddon turned to the side and pretended to be looking for the next god in need of his mystical help.

He had been ignoring Bekka’s searing gaze for so long now. It was admittedly much easier to do when you were actually working on something important.

But his wife did not take kindly to being ignored. When Abadon turned his back on her again, Bekka stepped on his tail to hold him in place.

“Not so fast, pretty boy.”

Abaddon put on a deceptive smile as he looked back at her. The sparkling innocence in his eyes easily masked any underlying discomfort.

But there was nothing a simple change of expression could do about the sweat.

“Something the matter, my love?”

“Other than the fact that you look like you’re about to make me a widow? Not really.”

“I would never. As if I could allow myself to die and have other men thinking they can be your shoulder to cry on.”

“Aww…” Bekka blushed before regaining control of herself. “Wait, no! You need to sit down and rest. This power you’re using is clearly taking a lot out of you.”

“I can rest when it’s done.”

“And when blood comes out of your eyes, ears, and mouth, too, right? Then it’ll surely be time to sit and rest.” Bekka scoffed.

“I wouldn’t be that dramatic about it…”

“Of course you wouldn’t.” Bekka rolled her eyes. “Why do you have to make it so difficult to take care of you?”

“Because I’m supposed to be the one who takes care of others, love. I cannot do that if I’m resting.”

“Who asked you to do that? When has anyone ever asked you to push yourself to the point of physical detriment for them?”

“No one, but it’s not of any real consequence. I am the most powerful force I know of. My body has been inexhaustible for millennia. I can deal with the discomfort that everyone around me has to face every day for just a little while. Especially if it is to clean up my own messes.”

“Well, I am your wife. Doesn’t that mean your duty is to me first? That you have to always listen to what I need above everyone else?”

“…It does.” Abaddon admitted.

“Then sit. Because right now, I just need a husband who doesn’t make me worry so fucking much all the time…” Bekka’s voice cracked.

When Abaddon realized that his love was frustrated enough to cry, all kinds of alarm bells began going off in his head.

He sat down as quickly as he could and dissolved his other bodies in an instant.

Bekka seemed to improve when her husband finally listened. She even had a sense of deeply buried amusement when she saw how worried he now looked.

“Why don’t you just do things when I ask you the first time..?” Bekka sighed as she helped her husband take off his cloak.

“That’s no real fun… I would deprive myself of getting to hear your pretty voice.” He smiled painfully.

“Flirting won’t make me any less mad…”

Abaddon suddenly grabbed Bekka by the waist and brought her to a standstill in front of him.

He held her firm as he kissed her exposed, rippling stomach, taking his time to leave behind the feeling of his warmth.

After he pulled away, that lingering feeling had yet to subside, and made Bekka feel several tender and erotic emotions.

Abaddon looked up at her from his seated position, his eyes tired but full of love, and his apologetic smile genuine.

“I’m sorry.” He said.

That displeasure Bekka felt with her husband had somehow gone missing…

She took his head in her grasp and pulled it close to her stomach once again. The contented swooshing of her tail might as well have been her way of saying ’apology accepted’.

“I don’t need you to apologize… I know what kind of person you are, and I love you for it. But taking care of yourself has to be a priority too, you know..? We still need you at home.”

“I get it… I’ll start taking breaks.”

Bekka ran her fingers through her husband’s thick red hair and straightened out the curls. Gently, she tied his hair into a ponytail so that he would be less hot.

At the same time, she watched the many beads of sweat roll down his extremely muscular physique.

A warm steam rolled off his body and rose into the air. He really was burning up.

As someone who had also spent years being able to regulate their own temperature at will and was immune to heat and cold, she didn’t know how he could bear it.

Bekka would have been screaming and taking her clothes off an hour ago.

She looked around the room to where the other wives were standing around waiting, unsure of whether crowding around their husband would be the best thing.

Bekka waved Sif over, and she dropped everything she was doing to get to him.

“…Mind if I ask you something?” Bekka suddenly said.

Abaddon closed his eyes as he filled his nose with the scent coming off Bekka’s body. “I am an open book.”

“…Was closing the doors really the only thing that you did..? Was there nothing else?”

Bekka knew her husband. He was a man with an infinite amount of regrets.

If he could go back to the past and change something, he would never stop at just one and move on. He would try to fix everything that he could.

All to make himself a ’better’ man. And to spare his family and those he loved an unnecessary heartache.

Abaddon’s eyes opened again.

He felt a pair of powerful, feminine arms wrap around his midsection from behind, and a sweet chill invaded his pores.

“…There were so many things that I wanted to do. That I tried to. After I shut the doors, I wanted to go back to prior timelines and mend your childhoods. Make sure you were in better environments… I even tried to go and see Yesh just one more time. To talk to him and tell him about the future.”

“…But?”

“But the changes I made caused time to ripple slightly. After my fourth, I was standing in front of a tidal wave of chronal energy. It was about to become a new timeline. I stopped the new timeline from forming, but that wave, it… forced me out. Perhaps I could have withstood it if I were not so disoriented, but…”

“You didn’t need to withstand it.” Bekka caressed his face. “Our lives that we have now more than make up for the pasts we endured. It’s not your responsibility to try and mend every single second of our lives. Just to stay with us and give us reasons not to think about it.”

Sif nodded in agreement as she gently rested her head against their husband’s back.

Abaddon folded his arms. “You say that, but if you had the opportunity, would you not have tried to change my past? My human one, or my life as a sick prince?”

Bekka and Sif both faltered. He smiled.

No one understood Abaddon as his wives did. They might have scolded him for being too selfless or trying to make everything perfect for them and their children, but at the end of the day, they would probably do the exact same thing if they were ever in his shoes.

It was the constant reciprocity that was the reason for his devotion. No mountain was too high to climb for their family. For his greatest loves.

“…So who’s past did you change..?” Sif asked quietly.

Slowly, Abaddon’s eyes drifted towards the leftmost corner of the room.

“…Lisa. I made sure she was working in the castle before my transmigration. That she was surrounded by friends.”

Bekka’s eyes started to water. She didn’t even need to ask why her husband had done what he had. “…And who else..?”

“Valerie. I made sure she was free from that program and made it so that she could make her way to Antares to become an apprentice.”

“And killed every man and woman she slept with before us?” Sif asked.

“Tragic accidents, those were…” Abaddon shook his head and clasped his hands together. “Rest in peace.”

The girls giggled at him, knowing that they would have done the same.

“Okay… who else?” Bekka asked.

Abaddon turned his head in an entirely new direction. “Well-”

Suddenly, Abaaddon’s phone began ringing.

The theme song of ’Darth Vader’ played from the speakers as a contact photo flashed on the screen. It depicted Kanami with Abaddon’s finger up her nose.

“…Christ. She only ever calls when she’s about to yell at me.” Abaddon sighed.

“You don’t know that.” Bekaa rolled her eyes. “Just answer.”

Abaddon did as requested and swiped to pick up the call.

“Home. Now.”

With a click, the line was disconnected.

Sif, Bekka, and Abaddon blinked as they stared at the phone.

Abaddon slowly looked up at them, his eyes showing clear horror.

“…I think that might have been even worse.”

A portal opened up right in the living room, and Abaddon entered along with his wives.

Everyone in the house was gathered behind a wall, stealing peeks at whatever was happening on the other side.

“What the hell are all of you-”

“SHHH!!!” The entire house brought a finger to their lips.

Abaddon was baffled.

Kanami pointed angrily towards the kitchen.

Abaddon, still not understanding, walked past his stupid, stunned family and entered.

Inside, he found something that left him fairly stumped.

An unknown dragon was sitting at the counter, eating a bowl of cereal with an annoyed look.

He was very handsome and charming. He had sharp, but masculine features over a smooth brown complexion.

His arms were covered in black scales that resembled plate armor, even in his human form.

One of his red eyes had an old scar over it, making him look like a very distinguished warrior.

He was probably the only person in the house, other than Nubby, who dressed nicely for no reason. His button-down shirt and dress slacks almost seemed out of place.

When he saw Abaddon enter, and then immediately freeze, he ran his hand through his short, curly hair and sneered.

“Not you too… Why the hell is everyone in the house being so god damn weird today!?!”
