Chapter 1119: Good Wife, Good God
Chapter 1119: Good Wife, Good God
Audrina could always tell when Izanami had something on her mind.
She paced about the room for a couple of minutes even though she didn’t seem to want anything.
She would also steal glances at her whenever she was able. Silently gauged the mood of whoever she wanted to talk to.
Izanami was also bad at making sure her thoughts weren’t audible, so it was often easy to hear bits and pieces of her thinking process.
’This is much harder than I thought it would be…’
’I hope she won’t think I’m being too meddlesome.’
’I don’t know where to begin…’
Audrina listened for a few moments before she decided she’d heard enough of Izanami torturing herself.
She casually slid her pants down her skin.
Stepping over to a row of dresses, she picked out the one that complimented her legs the most and pulled it up; making sure she struggled a bit.
She knew it was working when she couldn’t hear Izanami’s thoughts anymore.
And when she didn’t get any grief about changing her clothes when they were supposed to be leaving…
“Could you zip me up..?”
Izanami swallowed, her entire face boiling red.
She knew full well that Audrina could zip that up herself. But why would she turn away her opportunity to touch her curvaceous purple goddess?
Izanami stumbled forward awkwardly.
The closer she got to Audrina, the more she was hypnotized by the smell of her.
Rose water with a lingering hint of cocoa butter. Izanami knew Audrina and Abaddon had probably been all over each other just a few moments ago. Just envisioning it made her burn up.
“Something on your mind, love?”
Izanami couldn’t think about anything complicated with her mind already occupied by smut. It was difficult enough to stop her hands from shaking.
“O-Oh… no? Why would you think that?”
“…”
Audrina wrapped her slender tail around Izanami’s upper thigh. The goddess crumbled.
“I-I was having a chat with your sister and she seemed sad about not having your parents in your lives, so I wanted to look for your mother’s soul, but I wasn’t sure if that would make you uncomfortable and I didn’t know how to bring it up because you never really talk about her, but I thought if we could get past this hurdle with Dagon then we could finally shoot him into the sun and be done with him for good and we could live happily ever after in that little inlet in Eden we love and-”
Audrina grabbed Izanami by the face.
“You’re very cute when you’re flustered, but you are my darling. Be bold when you want something. You know I can’t resist you.”
Izanami took several deep breaths and spoke slowly in a way that didn’t utilize her full lung capacity.
“I want to find your mother. Will you be comfortable with that?”
Audrina shrugged. “I guess so.”
“… You guess?”
“Is something wrong with that?”
“Well, honey, it’s not like I’m telling you I’ll pick up a charcuterie board from the grocery store…”
“Oh, that sounds lovely. I really miss our girls’ nights.” Audrina sighed.
Izanami smiled at her helplessly.
“You just… don’t seem very thrilled about it is all.”
Audrina cupped Izanami’s face in one hand.
“My darling… I am old. I’ve simply made peace with my mother not being in my life a very long time ago. I only hoped that she was living a good life free from the clutches of my father.
But if Isabelle needs her, I am certainly not averse to returning her memories and bringing her here. My sister will have whatever she requires. Besides… I’m a fan of any plan that involves shooting Dagon into the sun.”
Audrina kissed Izanami on the cheek and wrapped her in a warm hug.
“You were very sweet to think of my comfort first. I thank you.”
Audrina felt Izanami’s entire body warm up in her grasp. It felt like she was hugging a little furnace.
“… Can you be quick?”
Izanami nodded drunkenly. “I think I’m already halfway there to be honest…”
Audrina grinned.
She gently used her tail to unzip Izanami’s pants and let them fall to the floor.
At the same time, she quietly closed the door to her closet and turned off the light.
…Only for it to come flying open again a few seconds later.
“No! We had all our fun yesterday, now it’s time to act with some semblance of decorum!!” Lisa flicked on the light angrily.
Even though they were caught, Audrina didn’t stop her hand from moving and Izanami didn’t stop her whimpering.
“Don’t worry, we won’t get too into it. She’s almost there anyway. Aren’t you, honey?”
Izanami responded by nodding fiercely as she bit her lip.
Even though she wasn’t the oldest member of the group, Lisa was by far the most responsible one out of everyone else.
Being off schedule really made her feel anxious. Especially since the group usually ended up being delayed a lot because of sex.
Lisa had spent the last twenty minutes pulling Sif out of Valerie, convincing Tatiana not to touch her butt, and trying to make her husband see that he did not need to bring his cigar box on a mission.
Suddenly, Bekka poked her head into the closet. “Hey, do I have time for a hot pocket??”
“Unless you have Valerie make one for you instantly, then no.”
“I think she’s busy with Sif and Eris.”
Sure enough, the group suddenly heard moaning coming from the hallway. Lisa looked like she was going to fall over and die.
“Unbelievable… are all of you in heat or something? We spent all of yesterday in bed AND this entire morning!”
Suddenly, Seras snuck up on Lisa from behind and wrapped her arms around her waist.
“Give us a bit of grace, my love. I think we’re all just feeling a bit of empty nest syndrome. Using sex to fill up the holes left by our missing family.”
A forlorn look formed on Lisa’s face. She was a motherhood deity. She missed her children more than anyone.
If she thought about it for too long, she wanted to curl up in a ball and hibernate for the next thousand years.
“I guess… I can understand that.” Lisa dropped her gaze.
Audrina started to get more into things as she pushed Izanami onto the floor. She was halfway out of her dress when Lisa hurled a bolt of lightning at her.
“I didn’t say I was going to let you continue though. Get up, keep your clothes on, and let’s go find the dreadful world-corrupting monster.”
Audrina pouted with singed hair.
She suddenly plunged her fingers inside Izanami, burying herself all the way to the knuckle.
Izanami screamed sinfully as her back arched off the ground and she soaked the floor underneath her.
“What did I just say?!”
“We’re done, we’re done…”
Audrina removed her hand from between Izanami’s legs.
Standing up, she walked over to Lisa and brushed her slick hand over her lips.
“See? I’d say this was worth a little delay, wouldn’t you?”
Lisa couldn’t exactly answer with her tongue cleaning off Audrina’s fingers.
Her eyes however said that she was fighting to stay angry.
“…So, do I have time for a hot pocket or…?” Bekka twirled her thumbs.
Suddenly, Abaddon burst into the room, also sparsely dressed and with a neck covered in lip gloss.
“We have to go. Now.”
“We know, we know, I think everyone is almost done with-”
“Even if they’re not, we have to go right now.”
Abaddon held up his phone to show the room and everyone inside felt their minds temporarily go blank.
– Five Minutes Earlier…
“Is there anything else you need, mother?”
Asherah briefly stopped tending to her garden and looked back at her daughter.
“…As I have said many times before, your concern for me is quite touching but I believe that if you were to ask me that again I might strike you.”
Uriel gulped.
“That feels a little bit unnecessary..”
“I shall be the one to decide if it is necessary or not based on your behavior in the next few moments. So far I am not willing to rule anything out.”
Uriel pursed her lips. “… You could come back to the palace, you know? Rest a bit.”
“This is how I rest and relax.” Asherah gestured to her garden. “Though it’s effectiveness is lessened by the overabundance of worrisome children.”
Asherah sprayed Uriel with a can of Lysol. The angel coughed as she dismissed the mist with one hand.
“What was that for??”
“You reek of anxiety. You’ll spoil my marigolds at this rate.”
“…” Uriel sniffed her armpits discreetly.
Turning back to her flowerbed, Asherah continued her diligent efforts without rest.
“There, you see? Look how much life these sweet children have when they aren’t being suffocated with the worries of others? They’re a lot like humans in that way, you know?”
“Indeed…”
Asherah suddenly dropped her shovel. Uriel’s eyes became as big as saucers.
The door to the hut slowly creaked open, and an old figure slowly hobbled out…
