Chapter 510 - Madness Land
Chapter 510: Madness Land
Once Charles finished constructing this spell, he used his name 'Charles' inside the spell model and activated it.
'Hmm? There no one thinking about me in this universe? Well, everyone must be busy with their works, right?' He shook his head and then decided to stop the spell model construction process.
After that, he left his Inner World, took control over his body, and checked the progression of his body.
"I still need to exercise more than three years to reach the realm of Radiant Knight, huh?" He wasn't surprised at all. He knew that increasing his progression would take more time and decided to take things slowly.
After checking his body for a while, he took a long bath in hot water and walked out.
He then took a black and gray dress from the wardrobe, put it on, and cast [Flame Teleportation] spell on himself.
A second later, he disappeared from there and reappeared in the underground basement hall.
He then glanced at the cloning pods on the right side and shifted his attention towards the farther end of the hall.
At that moment, he noticed that the Red Cube was shining in bright reddish color and emitting dense spatial-elemental fluctuations. Meanwhile, Runeth sat next to the Red Cube and was in the middle of engraving something on the floor!
He also noticed that an invisible layer appeared in the middle of the hall to stop anyone from interfering.
Seeing that Runeth was busy with his work, Charles didn't disturb him and quietly probed the hall.
Soon, he shifted his attention towards the right side and looked at a greenish gem-like leaf attached to the wall.
'Hmm, it seems that girl child from the Fire-Elemental Plane hasn't awakened yet. No, there is a high possibility that Chaos Maiden might not have made it to the Twilight Land.' He thought to himself and walked towards the Twin Leaf.
Within a few seconds, he arrived in front of the leaf, touched it with his right hand, and checked whether someone had already put their soul imprinted in it.
After confirming that there was none, he placed his soul imprint on it and created a short chant for a passcode.
A second later, he recited the short chant and disappeared from there.
...
The next instant, he noticed that his surroundings started to distort and soon found himself traveling in space at an unimaginable speed.
Before he could even blink, his vision blurred once again, and he found himself standing in the middle of a strange valley filled with red mist and ember rocks.
The surrounding air started to emit a deep red and warm-hot gust and then gradually began to fill with dark and intense spatial-elemental fluctuations.
At that moment, more than three spatial vortexes appeared in the crimson sky and looked eerie.
'I'm in a Valley? Isn't this the Blood Valley that separates the Twilight Land from the rest of Fire Elemental Plane?' Charles also encountered a strange astral being in this land and had some unforgettable memory.
First, he looked down and soon saw a greenish-gem-like leaf remained on an ember rock. But the thing that made him raise his eyebrows was the skeletons that appeared nearby.
'Hmm? So, the refugees from the Red Human City died, huh? Although I had some hope for the Chaos Maiden, it seems even she-'
At that moment, he noticed that a strange invisible power appeared out of nowhere and welcomed his arrival.
"World's Will?" He exclaimed in shock.
The invisible power suddenly pulled him somewhere while he was stunned by its behavior.
Although it's wasn't powerful enough to pull his body, Charles noticed a sense of urgency in its action.
'It is seeking my help?' It was the first time he had seen a World's Will acting like this one.
In some sense, he considered this World's Will as a good one while comparing it with the Edhen World's bitchy one.
Although he couldn't understand the situation, he decided to check it out.
Without any delay, Charles took the Twin Leaf from the ember rock, stored it in his space ring, and started walking towards the opposite cliff.
Although Blood Mosquitoes and poisonous fog tried to affect him, he didn't face difficulty at all.
Before long, he arrived near the bottom of the valley's cliff and directly flew upward using his wisdom power.
Within seconds, he reached the Twilight Land and released his full wisdom power in all directions.
A moment later, he enveloped his body in a crimson flame and disappeared from there.
The next instant, he reappeared more than 500 meters up in the sky and cast [Fallen Angel's Wings] spell.
Then, he closed his eyes and checked which direction the invisible power was leading him.
A second later, he opened his eyes, looked in a particular direction, and asked towards the surrounding air.
"You want me to move in that eastern direction?"
He flapped his wings forcefully and shot in that direction.
Within a few minutes, he flew across a rocky region filled with red sand and embers and soon saw a large settlement in the middle of a desert-like land.
In truth, he knew of this settlement.
'Flamebind City... It's a city ruled by a noble Warlock Efreet and is one of the largest settlements in the Twilight Land.' Just as he was about to stop, the invisible power again appeared around his body and pulled him further.
"Not here? I have to fly across this city?" He understood what it was trying to convey and followed its guidance.
He flew across the Flamebind City in a few seconds and reached a land filled with dense trees and elemental plants.
It wasn't the Savage Forest but a different one.
Charles continued to fly above the forest while searching for the target and soon stopped as he entered a strange domain.
Even though he was still in the forest, he felt a strange divine power in the surrounding air!
What's more shocking was that this divine power was trying its best to enter his consciousness!
'Wait... It's the Madness Land. Anyone who stays in this land would be affected by this strange curse and lose their memories. I also thought of exploring it long ago.' He recalled the memories about this place.
At that moment, he also noticed that the World's Will was leading him deeper into this forest.
He instantly searched the surroundings as he flew forward and soon stopped as the World's Will stopped pulling him when he arrived at a particular place.
