Chapter 994: Chapter 492: Unstable Winds

Li Ang had heard before that the Wind Dragon was somewhat different from the other Six Dragons. It enjoyed choosing two forms to walk the land of Nebis—one being the winged cat from earlier, and the other being the young girl of the Douding Family he saw now.

Her emerald green lightweight bustier and shorts were covered in feather patterns, emanating the Power of Wind, suspending her entire body in the air without touching the ground. Her eyes were as clear as amber, with a youthful beauty akin to a fairy. Her waist-length hair was a blend of pale gold and tender green, somewhat resembling the flavor of cantaloupe ice cream.

Apart from these thin pieces of clothing, she wore only accessories like collars, bracelets, and anklets made of various green gemstones and a few flowers. Compared to ordinary Douding, she had cat ears and a fluffy long-haired cat tail, appearing as extraordinary as the incarnations of the other Six Dragons, despite being in the form of a mortal race.

"Oh oh," Diao whispered softly.

When Li Ang looked over, the dark-skinned young girl leaned closer and said quietly, "I’ve seen this Dragon God’s manifestation many times in dreams, but never have I seen her transform into a human."

Li Ang nodded and listened to the young girl say, "Great Witch, do outside girls often dress like this?"

With his peripheral vision, Li Ang glanced at Annette’s outfit that almost left no place for the eye to rest: "This kind of attire exists, but it’s not common."

"Do you like this kind of outfit? I can wear it too, you know. Speaking of which, I should change into external attire."

Diao looked at the tribal Spirit Rune long robe on her body, which had attracted attention several times earlier due to its distinctive style.

In Nebis, excluding Zultin Marsh, most people dressed similarly usually come from tribal cultural islands with less development.

The young girl’s skin, dark like amber, would be overpowering if dressed similarly... Li Ang wasn’t sure if he could handle it, so he advised her against it. He thought.

Meanwhile, after Annette transformed into a human, she seemed like an arrogant little brat. She wove the air around, flying around Inanna, tugging her beast ears, pulling her hand, and then opening up her golden long dress, all the while claiming she was "observing demon traits."

Lily was helping to cover her up, and Li Ang also positioned himself to block outsiders’ view.

They had chosen a secluded resting spot initially, and with the two of them blocking the view, outsiders could not see what was happening there. Otherwise, just explaining the transformation from cat to human would be difficult.

"Demon, reveal your true face! Meow."

Even after transforming into a human, the Wind Dragon retained a cat-like manner of speaking.

Inanna looked troubled, and Li Ang felt that this interaction seemed normal for them; she didn’t really know how to handle the Wind Dragon.

From an elemental standpoint, Inanna was already the restrained one, not to mention that in situations where the world loses its sea and land, leaving only the sky, the strongest among the Six Dragons would definitely be the Wind Dragon.

Li Ang noticed the corners of the green Douding’s mouth lift into a smile, seemingly enjoying Inanna’s helplessness.

"Is this horn dyed, or sharpened with mixed paint?" Annette stretched out her hand to grab Inanna’s horn, her entire body weight hung on it, swaying back and forth.

Whether she had completely transformed into a demon, the Six Dragons should be able to discern. Even if she didn’t know the origin of Inanna’s changes, it seemed her current objective was to tease rather than uncover the truth.

"Lord Wind Dragon, let’s talk business," Li Ang interjected to help Inanna.

"Hmm? You, a mere mortal, have a demonic aura too?"

Annette turned her head, squinting at Li Ang.

"Oh dear, daring to defy me, you seem eager to meet your end, you human inferiority. My dragon’s wild wind can effortlessly tear you apart."

The revealing Douding gestured a ’grab’ motion toward Li Ang, her sharp nails resembling emerald gemstone in texture.

Inferiority? Li Ang was taken aback.

This term was seldom used by others; Zoe imitated strange contents from books, and even Elaphia expressed herself with pride and confidence. This was the first time Li Ang encountered such a tone from a Wind Dragon.

In other words, this Douding was the first true "female brat" Li Ang met.

Inanna spoke up: "Annette, this is my—"

"Only One Agent, right? Of course, I can see that, but just a mere mortal; kill him, and you can simply find another—"

"No," Inanna’s tone suddenly turned somber.

Annette raised an eyebrow at the change in the Earth Dragon.

"Could it be you came out here because of him?"

Annette tilted her head and scrutinized Li Ang. Li Ang felt a sudden gust of air, and the green Douding quickly flew up to him, her malicious smile on full display.

But in the next instant, that smile transformed into a look of shock.

"Waaaah!"

Annette’s petite frame was pulled away by the Dragon Claw formed of Earth Element.

"Inanna? How dare you!"

The green Douding transformed into a winged cat to escape from the Dragon Claw, then stirred up the airflow inside the cabin. The crew members in the distance realized something was amiss, but the Wind Element’s turbulence made their first instinct to flee away.

Strong winds surrounded the winged cat, causing Inanna’s manifested Earth Element Dragon Claw to crackle; part of the earth rock shattered into tiny sandstones, merging into the wind, but that was the limit.

The winged cat’s eyes widened, showing an expression of surprise.

Inanna was momentarily stunned upon seeing this, but she quickly composed herself, her gaze entirely fixed on Li Ang, her eyes trembling lightly.

"Annette, your wind can no longer suppress me that easily."
