And they certainly had.

’I’d only been on the red carpet for a few seconds before the Hovercars showed up, leading to... this.’

The Hovercars seemed to be parked randomly in the sky, but they actually maintained a kind of formation.

The five men emerged from the colored smoke, their handsome faces coming into focus from a hazy blur. For a moment, Shi Lan felt as if she was crossing through time and space.
