It had been two days since the Rampage incident, and Lumi’s life had been surprisingly quiet during that time.

She still instinctively woke up around five in the morning as usual, but every time she opened her eyes, she would lie there for a few seconds before remembering that she no longer needed to get up and prepare breakfast, clean the house, or rush to college after finishing all the chores.

Thanks to the midterm holiday, she didn’t even have classes to distract herself.

And now, she was bored.

Extremely bored.

The Caesar residence was far too big for someone who had spent most of her life living according to a strict routine. There were so many rooms that Lumi had already lost count, yet she had no idea what she was supposed to do with any of them. She had tried reading for a while, wandered around the garden, and even reorganized a small shelf in the living room before realizing that she was starting to look for chores simply because she didn’t know how else to occupy herself.

Evan had gone out early yesterday morning and hadn’t returned until almost midnight. This morning, he had left again around eight, leaving Lumi alone in the enormous house with nothing but her phone for company.

She sat curled up on one end of the sofa, staring blankly at the screen in her hand.

The phone had been left on her bedside table. She assumed Evan had placed it there sometime yesterday while she was already asleep, because she certainly didn’t remember having it before.

Lumi unlocked the screen and stared at it for a moment.

Since she was this bored, she might as well watch some Guide livestreams.

If she was really going to start learning how to Guide properly with the tutor Evan planned to arrange for her, she should at least understand the basics first.

She opened the livestream platform and searched for Guides.

Hundreds of results immediately appeared.

Lumi blinked.

There were videos explaining basic Guiding techniques, demonstrations from professional Guides, recorded training sessions, discussions about Guiding compatibility, and even livestreams where experienced Guides answered questions from ordinary citizens.

She hesitated for a moment before tapping on one of the most popular livestreams.

"Shhh..." The Guide suddenly whispered toward the camera, raising one finger to her lips. "We’re getting close to the dungeon where an Anomaly was recently detected, so everyone needs to keep quiet."

Lumi leaned closer to the screen.

The camera showed what appeared to be a dark forest, with thick trees surrounding a narrow path. Strange mist drifted between the branches, while the occasional flicker of blue light made the entire place look like a dangerous Anomaly zone.

"This dungeon was discovered recently, and according to the preliminary report, the Anomaly energy inside is extremely unstable," the Guide continued in a hushed voice. "There could be dangerous Anomalies lurking nearby, so we have to be very careful."

Lumi nodded seriously.

’This is actually useful.’

She reached for her notebook. However, before she could write anything down, the Guide suddenly stopped walking.

"Wait..."

The camera shook violently.

"What is that?"

A loud roar suddenly came from somewhere nearby.

The livestream’s chat instantly exploded.

[WHAT WAS THAT?!]

[Is that an Anomaly?!]

[Run!]

[Guide, GET OUT OF THERE!]

The Guide stared toward the darkness for a few seconds before suddenly screaming.

"AHHH! It’s a Sentinel!"

The camera swung around wildly.

A man in black appeared in the distance, surrounded by violent waves of energy. Electricity crackled around his body as he staggered forward, his eyes glowing with the unmistakable signs of a Rampage.

Lumi’s eyes widened.

’That’s a Sentinel!’

The Guide immediately looked terrified.

"Guys, what should I do?! He’s going into Rampage!" She turned the camera toward herself, her face filled with panic. "I need to guide him!"

Lumi instinctively sat straighter.

’Finally! This is exactly what I wanted to learn!’

The Guide suddenly looked at the livestream comments.

Then her expression changed.

"Wait..." She smiled. "Guys, you all know what happened last time, right?"

Lumi blinked.

The Guide pointed toward the rampaging Sentinel. "If you want me to use a kiss to guide him like before, send me coins!"

Lumi froze, "What?"

The chat immediately went insane.

[HOW MANY?!]

[DO IT!]

[KISS! KISS! KISS!]

[10K COINS IF YOU GO CLOSER!]

The Guide grinned at the camera. "When we reach 1,000 coins, I’ll rush over and give him a kiss!"

Lumi stared at the screen in disbelief.

’Is this how Guides normally work?!’

The coin counter began climbing rapidly.

100.

300.

700.

1,000.

The Guide’s expression suddenly became excited as the coin counter on the screen continued climbing.

"Alright, everyone! We’ve reached one thousand coins!"

She turned the camera toward the rampaging Sentinel and hurried toward him.

Lumi’s eyes widened.

’She’s really going to guide him with a kiss?’

She leaned closer to the screen, completely focused on what was happening.

The Guide reached the Sentinel and somehow managed to avoid the violent energy surrounding him. She raised her hands cautiously before moving closer.

"Okay, guys, remember, I’m doing this because you paid for it!"

The livestream chat immediately exploded with messages and virtual gifts.

Lumi blinked at the screen.

So Guides can really stabilize Sentinels like this?

She quickly grabbed the notebook beside her and started writing.

~ Physical contact can establish a stronger connection.

She paused. After remembering Evan’s Rampage, she added another line.

~ Kissing may also strengthen the connection.

Her face became slightly warm, but she continued watching.

The Guide then glanced at the camera again.

"And if you want me to go further..." She leaned toward the camera and whispered something that was immediately censored by a large blur.

Lumi tilted her head. She didn’t understand what the Guide had said, but the chat seemed to understand perfectly.

[10K!]

[DO IT!]

[WE’LL PAY!]

[THIS IS WHY I LOVE YOUR STREAMS!]

Lumi stared at the screen.

’Ten thousand coins for what?’

She honestly had no idea. Still, if it was another Guiding technique, she probably should learn about it.

So she continued watching. She didn’t even notice the footsteps approaching from behind.

Only when a familiar deep voice quietly spoke beside her ear did she finally freeze.

"Is this how you learned to guide me with a kiss last time?"
