Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 883: Entering the Depths

The Vermilion Bird Immortality Elixir is mine, and the corpse of the Demon Saint Yin Ya is also mine!

Su Han did not let the corpse of the Demon Saint Yin Ya be swallowed by the magma; instead, he quickly stored it within the Bronze Ring.

He then used the Great Dao Treasure Vase to absorb the magma, transforming it back into Boundless Power.

Thus, the Demon Saint Yin Ya perished, and the Vermilion Bird Immortality Elixir fell into Su Han’s hands. The only pity was that the crazy wine Sword Saint died; after all, he was the Palace Master of the Spirit Sword Holy Palace and had been temporarily aligned with Su Han.

However, during the previous battle, Su Han couldn’t intervene; he was willing but lacked the capability.

"Finally, I’ve collected one of the Five Elements Immortality Medicine!"

Su Han’s eyes showed delight, and his mood was tremendously uplifted.

He didn’t linger here, as the magma posed significant harm to his Sacred Body, so he swiftly swam upwards.

At three thousand meters, Su Han sensed the fluctuations of battle, and he saw the three elders of the Spirit Sword Holy Palace still fighting against the three Saints from King Yama’s Palace. Both sides bore injuries and had yet to determine victory.

Unfortunately, they didn’t know that their Palace Master and Director had already died at the underground magma site.

"Sword of Ages, cleave the world!"

Su Han didn’t stand by watching; instead, he concealed his aura and approached, then sprang up to attack.

With the Sword Intent of Ages enhancing him, he executed the Deadly Sword Technique from the Sword Scripture of Ages. With one strike, the sword radiance flowed like a river, time slipped by unbelievably fast, assailing from behind and directly striking a Saint’s back.

Thud!

This Saint had his Heart Spirit entirely focused on the opponent in front of him and never expected anyone to attack from behind. Now struck by a single sword, he immediately lost half his life, and subsequently, in the combined assault from Su Han and the elders, this Saint from King Yama’s Palace quickly could not withstand and was killed on the spot.

"This is bad, run quickly!"

Seeing the situation unfavorably, the remaining two Saints turned to flee. With Su Han included, there were now four from the Spirit Sword Holy Palace; they couldn’t possibly fight two against four, not running would mean death.

Yet, such a golden opportunity, how could Su Han let it pass? Instantly, he and the three Saints from the Spirit Sword Holy Palace joined forces to slay the two Saints from King Yama’s Palace, thus ensuring that all Saints on this expedition from King Yama’s Palace were killed.

"Your Highness, have you seen our Palace Master?"

After the battle ended, the elders of the Spirit Sword Holy Palace anxiously inquired, worried for the Sword Saint.

"The underground magma is terrifying; after I went down to five thousand meters, I could no longer dive further. I did not see the crazy wine Sword Saint there; they most likely are deeper down."

Su Han didn’t speak the truth, as revealing that he held the Vermilion Bird Immortality Elixir could attract trouble.

Moreover, since the Sword Saint was dead, even if he told the truth, he would surely become a target of resentment from the Spirit Sword Holy Palace, a meaningless trouble Su Han preferred to avoid.

Upon hearing Su Han’s words, the elders of the Spirit Sword Holy Palace sighed in disappointment but did not doubt him. After all, the magma truly was terrifying, and although Su Han was strong, killing the Sword Saint seems out of reach.

"This place with its terrifying magma, staying further will result in injuries; let’s wait outside!"

Seeing that the three elders were injured to varying degrees, Su Han immediately suggested leaving, and they quickly agreed and left the magma, resurfacing on solid ground.

"Charge!"

By this time, there was a battle on the surface as well, involving Giant Sword Saint leading the disciples of the Spirit Sword Holy Palace against King Yama’s Palace. Both sides suffered losses, and scores of corpses lay scattered.

"Those from King Yama’s Palace deserve death!"

Su Han’s eyes brimmed with killing intent. He stepped forward and joined the fray, instantly turning the tide. Soon, King Yama’s Palace was annihilated, leaving none alive.

"Many thanks for your assistance, Your Highness!"

Giant Sword Saint was covered in blood and gasped heavily, yet didn’t forget to express gratitude to Su Han.

With no enemies left, everyone could stop to heal and rest, and as for the Sword Saint, Su Han kept his previous stance.

"In that case, let’s wait here; I believe our Palace Master will return safely!"

The Giant Sword Saint chose to trust Su Han, so everyone waited outside the magma, yet no news came for three days. Instead, the magma retracted underground, and the mountain revealed itself again.

"Your Highness, our Palace Master is likely in grave danger; if you have pressing matters, please leave first!"

The Giant Sword Saint approached Su Han and spoke up.

After three days with no message, everyone knew things were bleak. The Vermilion Bird Immortality Elixir’s power was visible to all, and in the deep underground, its domain was there, with the Sword Saint and Demon Saint Yin Ya descending in pursuit into the unknown hazards.

Now with neither the Sword Saint nor the Demon Saint appearing, it seemed evident they had both fallen deep underground!

Though no one wanted to believe this speculation, as time passed, it gradually became reality.

The Heavenly Medicine Blessed Land only opened for three months, making each moment precious, prompting the Giant Sword Saint to speak up to Su Han, not wanting him to waste time.

"If that’s so, I will go ahead; take care indeed!"

Su Han also stayed three days to dispel suspicion. Now circumstances aligned, and the Giant Sword Saint urged him forth; thus, he chose not to linger.

The Vermilion Bird’s Elixir was his, but the whereabouts of the remaining four Immortality Elixirs were unknown; Su Han had to race against time.

Besides, the difficulty in capturing Immortality Elixirs was apparent to Su Han. Just one Vermilion Bird’s Elixir led to the Sword Saint and Demon Saint Yin Ya’s demise; without fortuitous timing, Su Han wouldn’t have acquired it.

Su Han needed to quickly strengthen himself; without power, capturing any Immortality Elixir was impossible, let alone healing Fairy Sister Yun Xian.

"Farewell!"

Su Han bid farewell to Giant Sword Saint and company, leaving the dead volcano range, heading to the sixth region.

The fifth region wasn’t quite the deepest part of the Heavenly Medicine Blessed Land; encountering an Immortality Elixir here was rare, otherwise, more Saints in the Ninth Layer of the Saint Realm would have contested.

The deeper he went, the higher the chance of finding Immortality Elixirs, yet the competitors were also fiercer. Let alone the Five Elements Immortality Elixirs, even an ordinary one was tough to capture.

Su Han didn’t hesitate; he absorbed and refined the Demon Saint Yin Ya’s corpse to bolster his strength. Unfortunately, the Demon Saint was gravely injured, and much of the blood energy dispersed, merely enabling Su Han to break through one layer, reaching the Saint Realm Second Layer.

Soon, Su Han entered the sixth region; however, his luck this time showed no clues of any Immortality Elixirs, prompting him to press further into the seventh region.

The seventh region was considered deep within the Heavenly Medicine Blessed Land, with more abundant Spiritual Energy and higher grade Spiritual Medicine.

Swish!

Just as Su Han stepped into the seventh region, he suddenly spotted a Qilin stepping on clouds, its familiar aura caused Su Han’s heart to skip.

Qilin Undying Medicine!
