Lucas carried Sora from the other side of the cliff, flying steadily toward dead Valley.

The wind rushed past them as Lucas flapped his wings, carrying Sora securely through the air. Below them, the familiar landscape of the valley gradually came into view.

Along the narrow path of Dead Valley, Martin had already been waiting with several members of the Wolf Tribe for quite some time.

Behind him were several enormous piles of dried red Smoke Grass, along with large rocks that had been prepared beforehand.

The moment Martin saw Sora arriving, he immediately stepped forward.

"The grass and stones are all ready," he said. "Should we move them up now?"

Sora nodded.

"They’ve already started fighting."

A faint smile appeared on her face.

"Then it’s time for us to join the show."

Martin understood immediately.

"Then I’ll have the men carry them up."

He turned around and prepared to call the werewolves behind him.

However, before he could say anything else, Ace glanced at the enormous bundles of Smoke Grass.

"There’s no need to trouble them."

He waved one hand casually.

"The few of us can carry them up ourselves."

Before anyone could react, Ace bent down and grabbed two enormous bundles of Smoke Grass, one in each hand.

Then—

Whoosh!

His figure disappeared.

Martin stared at the empty space where Ace had just been standing.

Before he could recover, Lucas had already moved.

He grabbed two more enormous bundles of Smoke Grass with his claws, spread his wings, and flew away.

Ryan looked at the final two bundles.

Without saying a word, he bent down, picked them up, and followed the others.

In practically an instant, the large pile of Smoke Grass that had taken the Wolf Tribe considerable effort to prepare had disappeared.

Martin stood there dumbfounded.

He stared at the empty ground.

Then he looked at Sora.

"Their physical strength is really that good?"

Sora blinked.

She was honestly a little surprised herself.

No wonder these Beast Husbands had such terrifying physical strength.

Their ability to carry heavy things was truly astonishing.

And judging from how easily they had moved those enormous bundles, their strength was far beyond what an ordinary Beastman could compare with.

Sora quietly glanced in the direction they had disappeared.

No wonder their waist strength is so impressive.

Martin had no idea what Sora was thinking.

After a moment, he subconsciously glanced toward her stomach.

His expression became slightly strange.

With six Beast Husbands around her, and with her pregnancy already progressing, there were probably quite a few little cubs growing inside.

Sora immediately noticed Martin’s gaze.

Her expression stiffened.

She quickly changed the subject.

"Father, did you pay attention to what I mentioned earlier?"

The moment serious business was brought up, Martin’s expression became solemn.

"I did."

He lowered his voice.

"I’ve already had people watch Red Frost. When we sent those things over, I made sure she didn’t know beforehand."

Sora nodded.

That was exactly the answer she wanted.

Compared with the others, Martin’s way of handling matters always made her feel more at ease.

Whenever she gave him important information, he listened carefully.

He did not immediately question her judgment.

He did not insist on knowing every detail before acting.

And most importantly, when she asked him to be careful, he actually took her warnings seriously.

This kind of trust between Father and daughter made Sora trust Martin even more.

Although Sora still had no idea exactly what Red Frost wanted from the Wolf Tribe, her intuition continued to warn her that something was wrong.

She had learned long ago that ignoring her instincts could be dangerous.

Red Frost had approached the Wolf Tribe too deliberately.

She was interested in too many things.

And Sora had never believed that someone who constantly tried to get close to her Tribe was doing so without a reason.

Therefore, she would rather be cautious than regret it later.

After Ace and Xavier had moved the prepared materials, Sora and the others followed Martin and several werewolves toward the Salt Well Cave.

None of them spoke loudly.

Everything was being done carefully.

After all, the battle inside the cave was still ongoing.

The Beastmen inside had absolutely no idea that Sora had already arrived.

They did not know that the person who had arranged this entire situation was standing just outside their battlefield.

Inside the Salt Well Cave, however, the situation had already become chaotic.

"What trap?"

Ben sneered at Serena.

"I, the great Flower Jackal Chief, am the real trump card here!"

His voice was filled with confidence.

"What trap could there possibly be?"

He looked around.

Only members of his own Tribe had come with him today.

So far, they were still alive and had managed to occupy the Salt Well.

As for Sora?

He had never even heard of her.

The name sounded like that of a Female.

And in his mind, Females could not possibly possess powerful Supernatural Abilities.

What was there to fear?

Could one Female really turn the entire world upside down?

Ben completely ignored Serena’s warnings.

Instead, he grabbed her with one hand and dragged her toward the Salt Well.

"What you need to do is tell me how to get the salt out."

Serena shook her head desperately.

Her voice was almost pleading.

"Please, let’s leave quickly! If we stay any longer, we won’t be able to leave!"

"I told you to Purify Salt, so Purify Salt!"

Ben’s patience finally snapped.

"Why are you talking so much nonsense?"

Serena continued trying to persuade him.

"We really need to leave!"

But the more she spoke, the more irritated Ben became.

He grabbed the back of her head and shoved her toward the Salt Well.

"I’m telling you right now!"

His expression became fierce.

"If you don’t get the salt out for me today, don’t even think about staying alive!"

This Female clearly knew how to Purify Salt.

Yet she refused to tell him.

In his eyes, that meant she obviously had ulterior motives.

If she had not been useful, he would have dealt with her long ago.

At that moment, Henry finally managed to get rid of the lumps and swelling on his face.

He walked into the cave just in time to see Serena being forced toward the Salt Well by Ben.

His expression changed.

Without hesitation, he struck out with a Gale Palm.

"Stop!"

Henry rushed forward and caught Serena.

Ben raised an eyebrow.

"You’re looking for death."

As soon as he finished speaking, flames gathered in his palm.

A fireball condensed in his hand.

Then—

Whoosh!

The fireball shot toward Henry.

Henry’s expression changed.

He hurriedly held Serena and stepped backward while grabbing a nearby rock with his other hand.

Bang!

The fireball struck the rock.

The enormous stone shattered instantly.

Fragments exploded through the flames.

Henry was hit by the force and slammed heavily against the cave wall.

"Ugh!"

A mouthful of blood sprayed from his mouth.

Because Henry had been holding Serena and had not released her in time, the force of the impact sent her toward the burning rock fragments.

Sparks landed across her body.

Then her Beast-hide Skirt caught fire.

"Ah!"

Serena screamed.

"My hair!"

She frantically slapped at herself.

"My Beast-hide Skirt is on fire!"

She immediately dropped to the ground and began rolling desperately.

"Serena!"

Henry wanted to save her.

But his internal meridians had already been damaged.

The impact had left him unable to stand properly.

He could only crawl toward her.

Ben looked down at the two of them with disdain.

These two were truly troublesome.

They refused to listen to reason and insisted on making everything more complicated.

If Serena had not been useful, he would not have bothered saving her.

With an impatient expression, Ben scooped up some saltwater from the Salt Well and threw it toward Serena.

Splash!

The water extinguished the flames.

But Serena’s appearance was already miserable.

Her hair had been burned into a tangled mess.

Her body was covered with burns and injuries.

Most of her Beast-hide Skirt had also been burned away, leaving most of her backside exposed.

Serena immediately curled herself up.

She sat on the ground, humiliated and furious, not daring to stand.

Outside the cave, Sora had been listening to everything.

A smile slowly curved across her lips.

She nodded toward Xavier.

Xavier immediately understood.

The next moment—

Boom!

A massive rock was pushed into position.

It completely blocked the entrance of the Salt Well Cave.

At almost the same time, Ace swiftly placed the prepared bundles of Smoke Grass around the entrance.

He lit them with a torch.

Flames quickly spread through the dry grass.

Then—

Smoke began pouring into the cave.

The wind pushed the thick gray smoke inside.

Almost immediately, coughing erupted from within.

"Cough! Cough!"

"What is happening?"

"Where is this smoke coming from?"

"Put out the fire!"

"It’s useless! The flames haven’t entered the cave! It’s only smoke!"

"Ah! My eyes!"

"My nose!"

"Something is wrong!"

"The cave entrance is blocked!"

"We can’t get out!"

The Salt Well Cave descended into complete chaos.

The smoke continued pouring inside.

Beastmen coughed violently.

Some covered their noses.

Others rubbed their burning eyes.

Ben frowned.

He reached toward Serena again.

But before he could grab her, he suddenly coughed.

"Cough!"

His eyes narrowed.

"What is this?"

Serena looked toward the gray smoke pouring continuously into the cave.

Her face turned pale.

"Cough... cough..."

"I told you this was a trap!"

She looked at Ben.

"But you wouldn’t believe me."

She coughed again before continuing.

"This is Smoke Grass. Someone is burning it outside."

"If you inhale too much of it, you’ll suffocate to death."

Ben’s expression became ugly.

"I don’t care whether it is Smoke Grass or Fire Grass!"

He turned toward his Tribe members.

"Everyone, listen to my command!"

"Charge out of the cave entrance!"

One of the Flower Jackal Beastmen immediately shouted,

"Chief, we can’t get out!"

"The entrance has been completely blocked!"

"Useless!"

Ben pushed through the crowd.

"Move aside!"

"I’ll do it myself!"

He walked toward the enormous rock blocking the entrance.

He raised his palm.

He was preparing to smash the stone apart.

But at that exact moment—

Something round suddenly fell from above.

Bang!

It struck the ground directly in front of Ben.

His expression instantly changed.

His face turned pale.

The strength in his limbs suddenly began disappearing.

"What..."

He looked down in confusion.

"What is this?"

"Cough... cough..."

"Why don’t I have any strength?"

Outside the cave, Sora held a slingshot in her hand.

She pulled the string back.

Then she released another ball of Smoke Grass.

The projectile flew straight toward Ben’s face.

Bang!

It struck him.

Sora’s laughter echoed from outside.

"Take a taste of my Soul-Confusing Bomb!"

Her voice carried clearly through the cave.

"Ben, prepare to die!"

"This shot is my gift to you!"

"And it’s for the Wolf Tribe members you killed!"

Ben’s expression changed dramatically when he heard a Female’s voice.

So this was Sora!

His brow furrowed.

But fear quickly overwhelmed his anger.

He immediately shouted,

"Lady!"

"Everything is negotiable!"

"If you want this Salt Well Cave, we’ll give it to you!"

"Please spare our lives!"

He was terrified that Sora would refuse.

So he quickly added,

"We have a Female named Serena inside!"

"She knows how to make salt!"

"If you burn us all to death, you’ll get the Salt Well, but you won’t know how to Purify Salt!"

"That would be a great pity!"

Ben immediately pushed Serena forward.

Sora’s expression remained cold.

"We don’t care."

Her voice was calm.

"This Salt Well originally belonged to our Wolf Tribe."

"Since you killed members of our Tribe, then it’s a life for a life."

Ben’s face changed.

"Killed Wolf Tribe members?"

"I didn’t!"

"I never killed any Wolf Tribe members!"

Sora’s eyes narrowed.

"If it wasn’t you, then who was it?"

Ben immediately pointed toward Serena.

"I know!"

"It was her!"

"It was Serena!"

"The Black Pig Tribe did it!"

His voice became increasingly frantic.

"When we came here that day, someone had already entered this Salt Well Cave!"

"It was her!"

"She must have been the one!"

"She was also the one who told us where this Salt Well Cave was!"

The moment those words were spoken, the atmosphere became strangely silent.

So it really had been Serena.

She truly had been ruthless.

When Martin had first heard Sora say that Serena was behind everything, he had been somewhat unable to believe it.

After all, he had never treated Serena badly.

Even though she was not his biological daughter, he had always regarded her as part of the family.

He had never allowed her to go hungry.

He had never deliberately made her suffer.

Yet she had still been willing to scheme against the Wolf Tribe and put their lives in danger.

Now, hearing Ben admit everything personally, Martin’s heart filled with complicated emotions.

He had trusted the wrong person.

And the person who had suffered because of that mistake was his own Tribe.

Especially Mark, who had been following behind them.

When Serena had left previously, Mark had even questioned Sora for being too heartless toward her.

At that time, he had believed Sora was being unnecessarily cruel.

Now...

It seemed he had been the foolish one.

Inside the cave, Serena’s face turned completely pale.

She had never expected Ben to betray her so quickly.

The moment she realized she was about to be handed over, she frantically shook her head.

"No!"

"Don’t!"

Her eyes immediately turned toward Henry.

"Henry!"

She stretched out her hands desperately.

"Save me!"
