Chapter 127: Chapter 127: Flawless Men’s Attire

Wei Shu looked at Tuantuan as if he were staring at a heartless betrayer. Even a little toddler with a heart of stone would instinctively feel a twinge of guilt under such a gaze.

Tuantuan smiled mischievously, leaning in to kiss Wei Shu’s cheek. "Good Brother Xiao Shu, don’t be angry anymore. Let’s go play~"

Wei Shu turned his face away. Little kids were just like that; even if they were dying for affection on the inside, they had to put on a bit of a front, hoping their friend would coax them a little longer.

Tuantuan’s first reaction, however, was to take advantage of Wei Shu letting his guard down. She let go of his hand, flashing back to her mother’s leg like lightning. She opened her arms for a hug. "Mom, Brother Xiao Shu doesn’t want to play with Tuantuan right now. Tuantuan is a little sad. Mom, hug Tuantuan."

Wei Shu was flabbergasted. His little face instantly crumpled into a pout.

Wei Yin coughed twice from the sidelines. "Tuantuan, do you want to turn around and look at Brother Xiao Shu again? He doesn’t seem to mean that."

As if having made up her mind, Tuantuan didn’t even turn her head. Instead, she reached out and tugged at Deng Yuyuan’s pant leg, signaling her mother to pick her up.

Wei Shu’s eyes grew even redder. At such a young age, he had already grasped a universal truth: the person who wrongs you knows exactly how wronged you are, even better than you do.

Deng Yuyuan thought, "You rascal, hurry up and think of something!"

It was understandable that Tuantuan acted this way because she missed her mother too much after not seeing her for a whole night. However, Wei Shu was one of her few good friends since she arrived in Beijing, and he truly cared about her. Tuantuan’s behavior toward him was inexcusable...

Deng Yuyuan felt a headache coming on. A high-quality friendship should be a two-way street, not a one-sided drain like Tuantuan was making it.

She followed Tuantuan’s wishes and picked her up, then walked forward a few steps to pick up Wei Shu as well. Wei Shu wasn’t awkward this time. Terrified that Deng Yuyuan might misunderstand his intentions, he couldn’t wait to stretch out both his little arms.

Deng Yuyuan carried the two children into the house while verbally reprimanding Tuantuan. "Tuantuan, you can’t deliberately ignore your brother. How did Mom teach you before? You have to be a child who considers others’ feelings. You can’t act recklessly just because others treat you well and accommodate you."

Tuantuan responded listlessly.

Wei Shu softly defended her. "It’s not that serious. I’m the older brother, so I should yield to my younger sister."

"No, that’s not fair," Deng Yuyuan said, looking straight ahead. "There isn’t much of an age gap between the two of you, so that logic doesn’t apply. Besides, I asked your mother, and your family doesn’t have a tradition of the older brother having to yield to the younger sibling."

Tuantuan wrapped her arms around her mother’s neck and whispered, "Tuantuan knows she was wrong. I’m sorry, Brother Xiao Shu. Mom, Tuantuan has already apologized. Can Tuantuan still be your good little baby?"

Wei Shu poked Tuantuan and muttered, "Tuantuan, when you’re talking to me, you should look at me, not at Aunt Deng."

Tuantuan’s mouth moved faster than her brain. "Tuantuan wasn’t talking to you—ah, o-okay, Tuantuan will look at Brother Xiao Shu next time."

Wei Shu manually turned Tuantuan’s little head over, and the two children were finally able to chat face-to-face.

Once indoors, Deng Yuyuan put Tuantuan and Wei Shu down. The two children quickly started playing together again, while she and Wei Yin went up to the second floor.

Wei’s mother sat in the living room, watching this scene while trying hard to maintain a smile.

Grandma leaned over and whispered to her, "Your dad and I will help keep an eye on the kids, and there are two nannies here as well. If you want to go take a look like Wei Yin did, just go. Even though you’re a mother now, in your dad’s and my eyes, you’re still a junior who needs looking after by your elders."

Wei’s mother’s eyes lit up. Unable to maintain her feigned composure any longer, she let her curiosity take over and ran upstairs as well.

On the second floor, Wei Yin was already hugging and groping Deng Yuyuan. Wei’s mother eagerly joined this somewhat perverted-looking procession.

Wigs, shoulder pads, a muscle suit, elevator shoes, binding cloths...

"Stop, stop, stop! If you strip off any more, I’m going to cry sexual assault!" Deng Yuyuan said, shielding her chest.

The two women exchanged a smile and finally stopped their antics, helping Deng Yuyuan tidy up her appearance instead.

Wei Yin asked curiously, "Are you going to pretend to be mute when the time comes?"

"Why would I pretend to be mute?" Deng Yuyuan tilted her head to look at her. The voice that came out was magnetic—a sexy, youthful male voice.

The tone wasn’t particularly deep, but it possessed a perfectly pitched low-frequency resonance. It felt as if it were brushing right against the listener’s ear, sending a tingling sensation straight to the heart. It matched her slightly melancholic, androgynous face in a bizarrely perfect way, creating a unique magnetic appeal—like a long-neglected cello being played once more.

Wei Yin covered her eyes. "Oh no, I’m going to be completely spellbound by you."

Wei’s mother also felt her heart pounding like a trapped deer. When dressed in women’s clothing, perhaps out of a basic need for safety, Deng Yuyuan rarely let her charm radiate so openly. Most of the time, her temperament was reserved and aloof, a trait that diluted the natural vibrancy of her stunning looks.

However, her male disguise ruthlessly unleashed its owner’s natural advantages. It was bold yet decadent, melancholic yet intoxicating.

"Do you have any brothers?" Wei Yin asked, grabbing her hands. She then blurted out subconsciously, "Remember to wear a pair of gloves when you’re in disguise. These are obviously a woman’s hands."

Deng Yuyuan nodded. "I have a younger brother. However, he pales in comparison to me. He’s probably just a bit better looking than the average person, and his personality is terrible."

Upon hearing this, Wei Yin instantly lost interest and resumed her hands-on exploration of Deng Yuyuan’s disguise.

"Wah, wear this outfit when you come over tomorrow too. No, I’ll just go buy some men’s clothes tomorrow, and you can come to my house to change!"

"Sure," Deng Yuyuan replied. "But I have to wear this specific outfit on the day I pretend to be your boyfriend. These clothes fit the props perfectly, making it much harder to blow my cover."

"Oh, right. Tuantuan won’t be coming to your house tomorrow." She leaned back into the old rocking chair, letting out a comfortable sigh.

"What’s wrong? Is it because Tuantuan got hurt today?" Wei’s mother immediately tensed up.

Deng Yuyuan closed her eyes, taking advantage of the conversation to rest slightly. Last night, in order to properly fix Wu Ying’s posture, she had slept fitfully. "Of course not. I was just reflecting on myself. I’ve been sending Tuantuan over way too frequently lately, which isn’t good for her growth. Moreover, when Tuantuan feels a lack of security, she can easily and subconsciously attack the people or things around her, completely forgetting all the morals I taught her."

"It’s fine, it’s fine. Our Little Shu doesn’t mind at all. Tuantuan is still little, so it’s perfectly understandable that she loves her mother more." Just as Wei’s mother finished speaking, she recalled the scene from that morning when Tuantuan had attacked Shi Tou with her head. Uh, she was definitely aggressive, but her attacks weren’t very harmful to others—they were just massively damaging to herself.

"Tuantuan felt terrible inside but didn’t want to throw a tantrum, which is why she took her anger out on Shi Tou." Deng Yuyuan opened her eyes. Thinking about it from another angle, Tuantuan was actually a baby with remarkably strong self-control, capable of seeking out inappropriate but highly moral punching bags.
