Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence
Chapter 671 - 380: Thor’s Strength, A One-Man Defensive Line
As large numbers of Beastmen gathered on the western defense line, the eastern side, where the Tulip Kingdom’s Commander-in-Chief was located, saw the convergence of top-level elites from the Tulip Kingdom. More than a month was enough time for nearly half of the Tulip Kingdom’s forces to mobilize, including the three most elite Knight Orders of the Kingdom.
"What’s the situation?"
A figure walked into the tent, their voice deep and resonant.
"Currently, Beastman Tribes are gathering on the western, eastern, and northern sides."
"The numbers have already exceeded two hundred thousand, especially on the northern side, where two complete Tier Six Beastman Tribes and more than a dozen Tier Five Beastman Tribes have been discovered."
As the figure walked in, a middle-aged man clad in armor spoke in a low voice, quickly reporting the current circumstances.
"Two Tier Six Beastman Tribes, have we confirmed how many Tier Six Beastmen there are?"
Listening to the middle-aged man’s report, the figure that walked in couldn’t help but furrow their brows.
It’s not just that Tier Six Beastmen and Tier Six Beastmen are different; Tier Six Beastman Tribes and Tier Six Beastman Tribes are also not the same.
A typical Tier Six Beastman Tribe usually has only one Tier Six Beastman.
But some Tier Six Beastman Tribes have two or even three Tier Six Beastmen.
The largest Tier Six Beastman Tribe even had five Tier Six Beastmen, which means that the two Tier Six Beastman Tribes could either have only two Tier Six Beastmen or as many as ten.
Two would be manageable, but if there were ten, even the Tulip Kingdom would find it hard to cope completely.
"We’re still in the process of confirming that, but it will likely take two more days."
The middle-aged man nodded, aware of this fact, and quickly responded.
"Two days, huh?"
"We need to speed things up, and also initiate the Demon Crystal transmission; the battlefield is constantly changing, don’t be afraid to burn through resources."
The man nodded, then remembered something, quickly adding to his statement.
"Demon Crystal transmission?"
The middle-aged man’s eyebrows twitched, unable to resist looking at the figure.
"Yes, start immediately!"
"Don’t worry about the resources; the scale of this war is probably larger than we imagined."
"And isn’t it strange? We requested assistance from the Empire a month ago, yet there’s been no response from their side."
The figure nodded, then chuckled wryly.
No one’s an idiot.
Even the high officials of the Tulip Kingdom sensed something amiss.
From the onset of the turmoil, they requested aid, but it’s been a month, and logically speaking, the Empire should’ve taken action by now. Yet, there’s still no movement.
Either there’s a problem with the Empire.
Or there’s trouble here.
Regardless of which it is, it indicates that the situation they face next will be more difficult than it is now.
The consumption for Demon Crystal transmission is indeed immense, costing thousands of crystals daily, and even for a kingdom, acquiring Demon Crystals isn’t easy.
The Tulip Kingdom had some gains from external wars, but even so, the number of Demon Crystals isn’t large.
Yet ensuring the Kingdom’s safety is more important than conserving resources.
"This!"
Listening to the figure’s words, the middle-aged man’s heart couldn’t help but skip a beat.
The simple words made him feel that something significant might be amiss.
"Alright!"
"Hurry up and prepare!"
The figure waved his hand, then approached to look at the sand table.
However, just as he approached.
A knight rushed in urgently.
"My lord!"
The knight walked in with urgency.
But halfway through his words, he caught sight of the figure beside him.
"Prince Marquis."
The knight quickly spoke again.
"How is it?"
The middle-aged man glanced at the figure, then swiftly spoke.
"It’s been confirmed now; those two Tier Six Beastman Tribes have one with two Tier Six Beastmen and the other with three Tier Six Beastmen, and among them should be one Tier Six Peak Beastman."
The knight quickly spoke.
As he spoke, the expressions of the two present dramatically changed.
Five.
They’re actually a full five.
Although generally, two to ten are possible.
But most have only about two to three.
Neither expected that the Beastman Tribe gathered on the east side this time would have as many as five Tier Six Beastmen.
Normally, an Official Knight is enough to deal with ordinary Tier One Beastmen, a Great Knight can handle Tier Two Beastmen, and an Earth Knight Peak might even defeat Tier Four Beastmen, but once Beastmen reach Tier Five, they no longer have any disadvantage against knights. Typically, only Holy Sanctuary Knights can deal with Tier Five Beastmen, and even Tier Six Beastmen.
Five Tier Six Beastmen require five Divine Domain Level experts to handle, and actually, more should be prepared to prevent surprises.
For the eastern defense line alone, almost all of the Tulip Kingdom’s forces will need to be mobilized.
"Are they insane!"
"Gathering like this!"
The middle-aged man murmured, his expression filled with bewilderment.
Such a massive scale is significant even for Beastmen.
Gathering like this, not only the middle-aged man, even Prince Marquis was puzzled.
"Phew!"
"Now is not the time to ponder this!"
