Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence
Chapter 666 - 377: The Legend of the Dressrosa Family (Part 2)
But half a day has passed, and the new Knight Order has still not arrived. Even though they are the elite of the Dressrosa Family, they feel a terrifying crisis looming.
If no new Knight Order arrives by dusk, their strength will be utterly incapable of holding out.
"Morris, you’ve got more ties in the North. Do you know what’s going on?"
Amidst the silence, one person couldn’t help but look at Morris, speaking in a low voice.
"Enough, Bo’er, shut up."
"Now is not the time to dwell on this. Regaining strength is the most important thing."
Brian couldn’t help but speak.
"Brother Brian, but!"
Bo’er couldn’t help but want to speak, but under Brian’s gaze, he managed to suppress it.
Among those present, Brian’s strength is the strongest, reaching Earth Knight Peak, and he’s also a Court Count. Although he isn’t feudal nobility, his long involvement in the Northern Territory War has given him the highest prestige in such conflicts.
Even Morris would obey his orders.
"Someone!"
"Reinforcements!"
"There really are reinforcements!"
In the midst of the silence, an excited voice arose from the lookout tower.
Accompanied by this voice.
The next moment, at the battlements.
Members of the Dressrosa Family stood up involuntarily.
"Really, truly reinforcements?"
Bo’er’s expression was tinged with excitement.
The others were equally affected.
Many even breathed a sigh of relief.
The greatest fear of people is despair.
If their strength had to withstand the upcoming Beastman assault, it would be sheer folly.
It would mean they’d been nearly abandoned.
Now, with reinforcements, they were undeniably given hope.
However, as the distant cavalry gradually approached.
Everyone couldn’t help but freeze.
"Eagle?"
"Is it the family?"
Someone muttered, their expression showing a hint of surprise.
And in the distance.
Thor and his group also gradually approached the western defensive garrison.
Looking at the massive garrison in the distance, Thor couldn’t help but let out a long breath.
As expected, for the next several months, he would need to hold on at this garrison.
And the assault here might be even greater than anyone imagined.
For the Church of Gods is ostensibly located in the Blazing Kingdom, yet its actual choice is the Purple Gold Flower Kingdom. Here, it’s already less than fifty miles from the Purple Gold Flower Kingdom.
This distance, to ordinary people, is far enough, but to Deities, it’s exceedingly simple.
The scale of the Divine War will inevitably spread through this region.
If things go wrong, he and the Knight Order he brought could be swept into it.
However, amid the massive crisis lies infinite opportunity.
Just after the Divine War, there will be an opportunity he’s never encountered, perhaps never again in his life.
If he can seize it.
Then, unquestionably, he and the entire family could experience a complete transformation and sublimation.
This is one of the primary reasons he asked that Court Marquis to gather the family members.
"Clop clop!"
Hooves striking the ground.
In the massive garrison in the distance.
One after another, Knight Orders came out to greet them.
And as the distance between them grew closer.
Soon, those people noticed Thor.
They were initially puzzled, but soon, a few of them couldn’t help but brighten their eyes.
Brian and Morris quickly rode out.
"Thor, it’s you!"
"Thor!"
Brian and Morris exclaimed with excitement.
"Brother Morris."
"Brother Brian!"
Thor spoke with a smile.
He hadn’t expected that upon entering the defensive garrison, he would encounter two familiar figures.
One was his brother Morris, and the other was Brother Brian, whom he had previously interacted with.
"I didn’t expect the reinforcements to be you. With you here, our garrison is surely secure."
Morris laughed heartily as he spoke.
He was completely relieved.
Though Morris wasn’t entirely sure of Thor’s strength, he knew roughly.
His brother at least possessed the strength of the Holy Sanctuary.
Maybe not capable of defeating Tier Five Beastman, but certainly able to hold out.
Especially since he noticed Reine.
He felt even less pressure.
Listening to Morris’s words, Brian also wore a relaxed smile, due in part to his son’s involvement. He was somewhat aware, though not fully clear.
But Morris said so, and he had no doubt.
And as some chatted, others gazed at Thor with shining eyes, excited or curious.
Over the past few years, Thor had become a legend within the family.
Yes, a legend.
Becoming a Pioneer Knight, being ennobled as a Baron, Viscount so quickly.
And in the Kingdom War, elevating the family to the rank of Marquis, while he himself was promoted to Count.
These stories have turned Thor into an idol for countless members of the Dressrosa Family.
Seeing him in person now, many had shining eyes.
"You, are you Brother Thor?"
Bo’er couldn’t help but speak excitedly.
"Bor Dressrosa, a descendant of Uncle Myomi."
Morris whispered to Thor in a low voice.
"Yes, Bor Dressrosa, pleasure to meet you."
Thor nodded with a smile.
"It’s an honor, Brother Thor."
Bo’er immediately said.
Thor smiled.
Afterward, Brian and Morris introduced Thor to some of the family members currently at the western garrison.
At the moment, the family Knight Orders at the western garrison numbered five.
Apart from Brian, Morris, and Bo’er, there were two more, though these two were weaker.
Brian and Morris were Earth Knights; Bo’er was also a Great Knight.
While the other two were only Official Knights.
There were relatively fewer of them.
Originally just under the Northern Pioneer Knights, but once the war began, they were inevitably drawn in.
Fortunately, they gathered with family members; otherwise, they might’ve ended up as cannon fodder.
"Brother Morris, Brother Brian, please organize. There will likely be more family members arriving next. I applied to the Kingdom, and our family members will be dispatched."
Thor contemplated briefly, then spoke to Brian and Morris.
"Okay!"
"I’ll handle it right away!"
Brian and Morris exchanged a glance, their expressions shocked.
The Beastman War is no joke.
Normally, the nobility couldn’t be controlled.
The Kingdom would do its best to gather the family together.
But that was only trying.
In truth, many family members were scattered.
Now Thor said all family will gather, which is unimaginable.
Soon, the two considered Thor’s status, then felt relieved.
For others, it might be difficult, but Thor, as a special recruit of Canaan Academy, and presumably with strength in the Peak of the Holy Domain, it might not be an issue.
The two began processing quickly.
And the previously turbulent hearts at the garrison calmed with Thor’s arrival.
Before, they were somewhat panicked.
Their strength couldn’t fight the unending tide of Beastmen.
Once things went awry, total annihilation was possible.
But with Thor present, the worries vanished.
He is the legendary existence of the Dressrosa Family.
With Thor here, everyone believed there’d be no problems.
Even Bo’er couldn’t help but keep smiling, occasionally turning to other Knight Order lords and excitedly recounting Thor’s stories.
