"This rune can’t be used in public." The double said and Zhen Yuan agreed.

"I know." He said.

In fact, Zhen Yuan had created the aging rune many years ago.

However, he didn’t test it in the colloseum for worry of initiating an uncontrollable situation.

"I will let a puppet cleanup." Shen Xu said and released a puppet.

Soon after, the puppet collected the loot and used corpse dissolving water to destroy the bodies.

When that was done, it used an earth forgetting talisman before returning to the carriage.

"Let’s go." Shen Xu instructed the puppet driver, and soon after, the carriage drove away.

"Ayuan, how are you feeling?" The double asked, looking at Zhen Yuan with worried eyes.

"I am exhausted." The man said and quickly continued.

"It’s not easy to alter an immortal’s predestined fate." He said.

Shen Xu nodded when he heard this.

"Your face is pale. Let’s enter the space." He suggested.

Soon after, the two left a puppet to guard the carriage and secure their exit point before entering the space.

Because Zhen Yuan had used too much energy, he immediately began to replenish his energy while Shen Xu checked the list of people who had ascended in the past one hundred thousand years.

At a glance, the list had more than ten thousand names but only included cultivators who had ascended to the lower heaven.

"I am not sure but I know that reversing aging is not as simple as aging someone. After all, a person’s birth not only involves their past life’s karma but also touches on their family’s fate. Time laws are definitely not enough to undo someone’s birth." He said and soon sighed before continuing.

"My understanding of the nine heavenly laws is not deep enough." The man said and Shen Xu smiled.

"I always feel that there will come a day when your word will be the law that rules the universe." He said and Zhen Yuan didn’t refute because he had the same feeling.

However, he also felt that that day was in a very far horizon and it was not productive to think about it for the time being.

"Let’s check the loot." Zhen Yuan changed the subject and Shen Xu readily nodded.

"Fifth elder." A female elder greeted.

"I want to see my twelfth disciple’s soul cup." Ye Tianci ordered and the female elder sighed before leading the way.

"I was just about to message you." She said and pointed.

"It’s completely broken." She said and Ye Tianci clenched his hands in anger.

"How was it? Did it break gradually or all at once?" He asked.

"All at once." The female said and Ye Tianci fell into thought.

A moment later, the man took out his communication jade, sent a message, and left the soul hall.

Back on the fifth mountain, Ye Tianci summoned his direct disciples, and four male cultivators soon arrived.

"Master." They greeted and Ye Tianci nodded but his face was darker than the bottom of a pot.

Seeing this, the four exchanged a glance and the eldest stepped forward.

"Master, is something wrong?" He asked and Ye Tianci narrowed his eyes before speaking.

"You junior sister has fallen." He growled and the four male cultivators couldn’t help but be shocked.

"How is that possible?" One questioned and quickly continued.

"Junior sister is a peak-stage heaven immortal realm cultivator; how could she suddenly die?"

"Did she fall in the Wuhu unknown area? I heard that even great immortals have to be cautious when climbing the upper stairs." Another disciple said.

However, Ye Tianci shook his head and a trace of ruthlessness flashed in his eyes.

"I have just messaged the sixth brother, and he told me that Bing’er didn’t arrive in the Wuhu Unknown area." He said.

"Did she encounter a great immortal or a level thirteen beast or demon plant?" One of the disciples wondered.

"Bing’er messaged me three days ago and said that she found an excellent solution to her problem."

"She found a fire-element physique cultivator in Nan’an city, and was going to bring him back. I can only assume that the person killed our Bing’er." Ye Tianci revealed and the four disciples gritted their teeth in anger.

"A casual cultivator dares to offend our Eastern Immortal Palace?" One of the disciples angrily asked.

"They don’t take our Fifth branch seriously." Another said.

"Master, we can’t let junior sister die in vain."

"Mmmh." Ye Tianci agreed.

"Go back to your caves and prepare. We will leave for Nan’an city in one hour." The man said and the disciples immediately nodded.

After the disciples left, Ye Tianci took out his communication jade and messaged the patriach of Suzhou’s Li Family.

"Little bastard, I don’t know who you are, but you will pay with your life for harming my Ye Tianci’s disciple." The man muttered, and headed to the sect master’s Palace to report his impending journey.
