F-Rank Puppeteer!! But I'll be Queen, and I'm not a narcissist!!!!!
Chapter 381: Originals
"..." Qyraen kisses me while I stare off to the side with disgust. We've been at this for hours, and resisting doesn't help — if I resist, she'll only hurt me. It took her a long time to figure out the conditions without knowing.
Especially the part about the kiss. She spent two hours doing everything, and all it took was a single kiss for the system to move to the "next" step. Thankfully, it seems to be coming to an end.
We've already done everything a couple can do on their wedding night. We even shared magic, which honestly made me want to vomit. It was something intimate I'd only ever done with Esther on our first night together.
That almost shifted the "wavelength" of my magic, but fortunately she couldn't change it, and it truly doesn't matter right now.
At this point, Qyraen is the third person to know my body this well. The first is me, and the second is obviously Esther. And honestly, the fact that my rapist knows me better than most people does disgusts me deeply.
"Nhhggm..." I let out a pained moan, aching all over my body. The constant, careless friction, the bites and slaps combined with the wounds I already had have left me in bad shape. Though Qyraen isn't much better off — she almost passed out. I think some organ of hers is bleeding internally at a slow rate, maybe a steady, weak hemorrhage.
"..." I look at Qyraen's lips. There's some kind of golden viscous substance dripping from them. Mine are the same, but it's purple. It seems to be our magic, which for some reason has turned liquid.
'My magic is purple...' Esther's is red and black, and the angel queen's is golden. I wonder if the color of magic, which never changes, holds any meaning.
"It seems we're at the final stage," she says, straddling my stomach and rubbing herself against it. She touches her own fluids and brings them to her mouth. Even her sexual fluids have taken on that golden hue. Mine have taken on a pale lilac purple shade.
"Yeah..." I just agree. This has already dragged on too long. I just want it to be over.
"..." She grabs my horns, yanking my head forward, and then kisses me, forcing me to swallow the mixture of our saliva. The blend of our saliva forms a sort of bronze-colored, coppery liquid. It reminds me of the description of mythological "Ambrosia," especially the metallic golden sheen.
She drinks this liquid too, the one full of the union of our magic, which has a somewhat bitter taste.
"[All Requirements for Evolution Have Been Met]" The system announces what Qyraen so desperately wanted to hear. And the moment that message appears, she immediately pulls away from me, spitting the mixture of our saliva onto the floor with disgust.
"It seems your usefulness has run out—" Before she can finish, she presses a hand to her chest, coughing up blood, and I feel an unpleasant pain in my chest as well.
I look at Qyraen and see her size increase by a few centimeters while her four pure-white wings take on a deep shade of black, so dark it's hard to distinguish the feathers from one another, and their size grows by about 20%.
Her hair grows slightly longer as the golden halo above her head loses its golden shine and turns silver — a pure silver tone paired with a faint cyan glow that coats the halo.
Her pupils change too, gaining a pattern that resembles a golden cross in each eye, while her magic rises to a level so high it becomes uncomfortable, and you can feel its weight in the room. Not to mention the tone of her magic shifted from golden to a beautiful pure silver.
My changes are equally drastic. I grow about 5 centimeters, reaching 168 centimeters. My horns also grow slightly, while their tips become much thinner and sharper, and their durability rises dramatically, becoming far more solid with the nerves inside more protected.
My wings grow too, gaining a more aggressive pattern with a larger wingspan, shifting from something that can merely fly to something that also serves for attack. If I were to fly fast near trees, my wings would cut through them like axes if I applied enough force.
My tail also grows, becoming longer and thicker, while the scales become more defensive, gaining a new pattern where two overlap on top and one underneath fits between them to secure the defense much better.
I also gain various tattoos across my body — or rather, a single giant tattoo that spreads across my body in an organized pattern of lines. Tattoos that, incredibly, remind me exactly of the tattoos on Saluvia, a demon who is over 19,000 years old.
But the tattoos soon vanish, and I feel they are part of the magic. So whenever I use magic, they will appear, and if I don't use magic, they will stay hidden.
Beyond that, my magic also increased and became heavy. Though its tone remained purple, it now has a faint red gleam, and instead of being contained, it became more aggressive, like a warning to stay away.
I also feel that my teeth and nails have changed. My teeth have all become pointed and sharp, as if made to crush anything I bite. And my nails, which have grown back, are sharper at the tips and now conduct more electricity without heating up.
"..." The physical changes made the restraints break, and I managed to free myself. I also notice that my breasts are about two to four centimeters larger and my thighs slightly thicker, but that's more due to the change in size since I grew.
"HahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Qyraen laughs madly, touching her face with pure euphoria. She was right — we did evolve. Qyraen looks like a "fallen angel," but in this world, that concept doesn't really exist, so the black wings aren't a symbol of corruption.
'Just as I thought...' Our appearances and auras have become more aggressive. This isn't a "Transcendence" — it's biological traits that our past versions possessed. My entire appearance screams for others not to come close or they'll be in danger. Qyraen's does too. Like how venomous creatures are brightly colored, her black wings are a dangerous lure.
It's as if our bodies warn any nearby being that we are a threat. And considering that the past was apparently a more "tribal" era, looking dangerous was probably useful. But nowadays? What good is it to look menacing?
"You look grotesque," I say, looking at her wings. That pure white has become merely a dense darkness. There's nothing divine about it. She looks like a true demon.
"Shut up," she glares at me with hatred, but I see there's no longer disgust in her gaze. Probably because, in her twisted view, we are now "Equals." Our "transcendence" makes us equal beings in a certain way.
'My powers...' I feel my powers return. I suppose the vault wasn't designed with the idea of preventing "tribal" beings from using their powers. Maybe because they're older than the vault?
[Evolution Complete. Demon Queen Evelyn has evolved into an Original Tribal Demon. Angel Queen Qyraen has evolved into an Original Tribal Angel]
I glance at the part about my race. Just reading it, it seems like a new race was added, but in this case, it's not a new race — it's an evolution as a demon.
Race = Original Tribal Demon / Demonic Storm Dragon / Asura / Hyleíade (Demonic Living Marionette) / (Spiritual Nymph of Matter)
So much so that I didn't gain any specific power. I just received an increase in all the powers I already had, a boost in magic, and a more primitive physical change.
I can't defeat Qyraen, so I take advantage of the fact that my entire body has recovered from its wounds and start flying extremely fast. I make six lines spin in front of me, using my body like a cannonball, and when I get close to the vault, I go straight at it headfirst. The lines shred the vault door while my headbutt opens the hole, and I manage to get out of the vault.
I see Shizuka, who was waiting patiently, and I hear the sound of that bitch flying this way. With lines, I make an improvised dress, but when the dress tightens against my body, I feel a slight pain. Even though our bodies have recovered, some of the milder pains still linger.
"Shizuka, prepare to fight... defeat Qyraen... make her suffer greatly," I say in an extremely dark tone. I will make a point of torturing Qyraen if she survives the fight against Shizuka. I've never liked torture, and I hate listening to the screams of suffering from the tortured, but Qyraen is a special case.
"Evelyn-sama?! Your appearance is—" Shizuka seems surprised by me, but before she can say anything, Qyraen bursts through the vault door, coming straight at me. Shizuka leaps in front, defending against her punch, beginning their battle while I fly off to hide and wait for an opportunity to attack that bitch.
'I will have my revenge for everything she made me go through.' The grinding of my new teeth produces a harsh, unpleasant metallic screech. I hate this new evolution deeply. It's as if my entire existence has been contaminated, which makes me scratch my arms until they bleed.
I cannot live in peace if the angel queen survives. She has to die, even if it's by my own hands.
