Chapter 536: Chapter 526: The Third Remnant Map (2)

But just then, an ethereal voice suddenly drifted from the heavens into Mu Chen’s ears, jolting him to attention.

"Little ones, before you head back to your dorms, come to the Elder Space. Your mentors have something to say. And Little Muchen, you come as well."

"Dilaka," Mu Chen whispered.

"Go on." Pulling Little Tiger and Ta Shan aside, Zhu Jiuqian continued, "When you woke up, you all should have noticed your Elder Space sigils. Those sigils are engraved with teleportation nodes. Just activate the node, and your mentor will receive a teleportation request. Once they approve, you can instantly arrive at your mentor’s location."

Mu Chen was already familiar with the teleportation method. He had been on Holy Tomb Mountain for four days, and a great many questions had piled up in his mind. The ring Dilaka gave him was still on his finger, so after saying a quick farewell to Little Tiger, Ye Shuangshuang, and Mo Qing, he activated the node on the ring.

With a flash of golden light, Mu Chen’s figure vanished from the back of the Golden-Winged Emperor Eagle. Watching him disappear, Zhu Jiuqian’s eyes filled with keen anticipation. He then turned to the others. "You all can go now, too. This is your first day with your mentors. Remember to ask plenty of questions."

Once he finished, Zhu Jiuqian watched as the remaining nine students nodded and vanished. Then, grabbing one in each hand, he plucked Little Tiger and Ta Shan up like a pair of chicks and carried them into a Spatial Rift. Their destination was, of course, his own Elder Space. As he had mentioned earlier, Little Tiger and Ta Shan would be staying by his side to study.

...

Deep within Holy Tomb Mountain, in an Elder Space, lay a vast, golden region. Here, besides the Gold Attribute Primordial Qi that was so dense it was nearly viscous, the air was filled with tens of thousands of countless floating Sword Weapons. Longswords, short swords, two-handed swords, Heavy Swords, Dual Swords—every possible length and size was represented.

These Sword Weapons bobbed up and down, occasionally emitting orbs of light as if they were communicating with one another. As for Mu Chen, he had appeared right in the center of the golden region.

’Where is this...?’ Staring at this world, which resembled a Sword Domain, Mu Chen felt as if he had stepped into another dimension.

"This is my Independent Space. I call it the Sword Tomb. Little Muchen, come on in."

The aged, gentle voice drifted up from below the golden world. The instant the words faded, a gentle current of Primordial Power lifted Mu Chen’s body and began pulling him downward.

The force wasn’t the least bit restrictive. Mu Chen could feel that the slightest struggle would break its pull. Yet he didn’t move an inch, for he had ninety percent trust in Dilaka. He was even prepared to follow his Master’s advice; if possible, he was willing to tell him about the Nine Attributes Dantian.

Guided by this pulling force, Mu Chen soon landed on the ground. His feet made no sound as they touched down, for the surface beneath them felt incredibly soft, as if he were standing on cotton.

But that detail was insignificant. What mattered was the sight before him: a golden giant sword, thousands of meters long, thrust diagonally into the ground with only two-thirds of its blade exposed. It was Dilaka’s signature weapon, the Immortal Extinction Sword. At the very top of the Sword Hilt, there was a golden orb of light, and the pulling force was drawing him toward that very orb.

VZZHP...

With a crisp sound of passing through space, Mu Chen’s figure vanished from the golden world. When he reappeared, he was in a bright, spacious room.

Inside the room, Dilaka was intently studying a withered, yellow map fragment in his hands. Seeing that the elder was busy, Mu Chen stood quietly to the side, not wishing to disturb him. But when his gaze shifted to the map fragment, his mind suddenly went blank, and a wave of pure joy nearly burst from him!

’The third piece!!’
