Chapter 2793: Star River Tunnel
Looking at the Teleportation Formation on the ground, Puba immediately widened his eyes. This formation was something only high-level leaders of the Dwarf Tribe could possess, but he couldn’t guess who had been here. He was certain, though, that after their departure, others would come to the Myriad Heavens Divine Realm; maybe they came after waiting for news that never arrived.
Puba looked at Lin Feng and said, "I don’t understand what you mean by ’Teleportation Formation.’ In our place, it’s called the Star River Tunnel. Us low-level people can only drift in the universe using tools; only a few leaders can use this. A very high-level person must have visited."
Suddenly, Lin Feng recalled the two giant Demon Beasts he had fought in front of the mountain earlier and asked, "There were two giant metal-typed Tyrannosaurs guarding this mountain earlier, and they kept saying they were following their master’s instructions to let no one in."
He thought that if he described these two Demon Beasts, the Dwarf might be able to guess who had been here.
"Are you talking about the Farshadow Dragons? All the Demon Beasts on our planet are metal-typed, so I’m still unable to guess who the master is," Puba said helplessly, spreading his hands and looking at Lin Feng.
Hearing this response, Lin Feng was also at a loss. It seemed that the Domlir planet was indeed very strange; the humans were so small, yet the Demon Beasts were so large. It was simply a world of difference. But he wasn’t fixated on how they had been teleported; he wanted to know how to teleport back, so he asked, "Can the Star River Tunnel be repaired? How can it be activated?"
This was also the most crucial issue for Puba and his people; no one was more eager than them to return home. However, looking at the severely damaged Array Plate on the ground, repairing it would not be easy and would take a lot of time. Moreover, the data and trajectory of the Star River Tunnel must be error-free; otherwise, they would be left adrift in the boundless universe without being able to return to their planet.
After pondering for a while, Puba solemnly replied, "I think it’s possible. We have several artisans who specialize in tunnels, so they should be able to repair it, but it will take a long time."
He was also very eager, but this matter couldn’t be taken lightly. Since they had located the Star River Tunnel, there was hope of finding a way back.
Lin Feng thought for a moment. He couldn’t stay there waiting for the Teleportation Formation to be fixed; he had many things to do. Without a specific time for completion, he couldn’t keep coming back. Suddenly, an idea came to him, and he said to Puba, "Clan Leader, how about this: leave the few who are skilled at repairing the Star River here. It’s safe here, while the others remain in the Cave Heaven Mansion. Once they repair the Array Plate, I’ll set a point here so they can go directly to my Sect to find me."
Puba found this solution feasible and said to Lin Feng, "If we succeed, you must come to our hometown as a guest; it’s truly beautiful."
Saying this, his thoughts were momentarily transported back to the Domlir Planet, lost in yearning. He had been away from home for countless years, imprisoned undersea for epochs, uncertain of how their energy-deprived planet had changed. Thinking of this, he pleaded with Lin Feng, "If we can truly return, could you provide me with more Energy Crystals?"
"No problem." Since he had promised earlier, Lin Feng was determined to fulfill it. He realized that in the coming days, he would have to work hard to gather more Demon Cores for them. He knew these Dwarfs couldn’t survive without energy.
"Alas." Puba sighed heavily. He desperately longed to return, noticing Lin Feng seemed troubled. He then asked, "Are you going to use the Star River Tunnel too?"
Although he didn’t know much about Lin Feng, he could discern from Lin Feng’s eyes that he was not only happy for them but also eager to use the Star River Tunnel himself.
Lin Feng nodded. How could he not be anxious? One day in the heavens is a year on Earth. He had been in the Myriad Heavens Divine Realm for many years, uncertain how much time had passed on Earth. Previously, he considered returning through the Blood Ridge Demon Banyan, but the situation in the Demon Domain was entirely unknown, making it too dangerous to act rashly.
The Wuxiang Diviner hadn’t reappeared, leaving only a vague promise of meeting when the time was right. He couldn’t keep waiting indefinitely; his hopes were now pinned on the Star River Tunnel.
Suddenly, Puba noticed a line of characters on a black Stele on the ground and began to weep sorrowfully, saying to Lin Feng, "So, it was the leader from our place who came, but he has passed away. Before his death, he begged that anyone who saw these characters save the Domlir Planet."
Upon hearing this, Puba and the surrounding clan members broke down into tears, clutching their heads, leaving Lin Feng at a loss. He found it strange because no one in the Myriad Heavens Divine Realm could possibly read the characters on the Stele, so why were they left here? After a while, seeing their emotions had calmed, he said, "Then hurry up and repair the Star River Tunnel. The longer the delay, the more danger your homeland faces."
Hearing Lin Feng’s words, they nodded and returned to the Cave Heaven Mansion, finding the artisans specialized in tunnel repairs. Suddenly in the mansion, Puba saw a transportation tool resembling a miniature spaceship and asked him, "Clan Leader, is this a mode of transportation that can fly?"
Puba nodded, looking at Lin Feng and said, "This is used by our people for exploration, but unfortunately, it consumes energy quickly and hasn’t been used for a long time."
Looking at the small spaceship before him, Lin Feng suddenly had an idea. He thought that the road westward was becoming increasingly dangerous. He didn’t want to bring Xiao Jiu and Tangyuan, nor did he want to fly himself. Aurora wasn’t around, so borrowing this tool would be much more convenient. He directly asked, "Can I borrow it? Is it easy to operate?"
"Of course, it’s very easy to use. You just need to start by pressing that button and place your hand on the joystick," Puba said, pointing to the middle of the control panel.
Lin Feng smiled, attempting to sit inside the small spaceship, which barely accommodated him. Although it was slightly cramped, he could endure it. He then threw a handful of Demon Cores into the starter, instantly illuminating the entire small spaceship as the engine began working, and the spiral propeller started rotating. He carefully placed his hand on the joystick and gave it a push, immediately flying up into the Cave Heaven Mansion.
The speed was surprising. Though slightly slower than Aurora, it was absolutely sufficient for travel.
He stepped off the spaceship, pleased, and then took Puba and the others out of the Cave Heaven Mansion. After bidding Puba farewell, the artisans focused on studying the Star River Tunnel, and Lin Feng turned to leave...
Lin Feng still needed to continue his journey to Wangchuan Cliff at the farthest west, but when he emerged from the cave and looked at the black mountain before him, he suddenly thought of an issue. Puba and his people didn’t have any means of attack. Although it seemed safe here now, if Demon Beasts invaded, wouldn’t they be in great danger?
With this thought, he immediately spread his Divine Sense over the entire black mountain, and then countless white Formation Flags flew out from his space, beginning to set up an Isolating Formation around the mountain. As time passed, several hours later, a faint transparent Light Barrier enveloped the black mountain. Without an Array Master, neither ordinary people nor Demon Beasts could break it.
He showed a slight smile, then boarded the spaceship and flew straight into the sky...
In Thunder Valley.
Madam Xing and Yuan Su stood at Thunder Valley’s entrance. This should be the place. They journeyed from Fengcheng for several months, and the valley was extremely concealed. It took numerous inquiries before they found it.
Looking at the valley before them, Yuan Su stroked his beard and exclaimed, "Amazing! Truly amazing!"
This location, whoever found it, was a marvel of geography, perfect for establishing a Great Formation. The mountains surrounded the entire valley, leaving only a single entrance—easy to defend and hard to attack—undoubtedly the ideal choice for establishing a Sect. ℯ𝓵.
Along the way, Xing Meng and Yuan Su had become quite familiar with each other, looking out for one another. She found him obsessed with formations, while she herself didn’t know what she was pursuing. Upon reaching the Myriad Heavens Divine Realm, she took a different path than other Ascenders, forsaking luxury to join the Sect, perhaps to fulfill the original purpose of her cultivation. After all, as a fellow Ascender, contributing to the Sect was something she ought to do.
As the two were about to enter, a figure shot out of the valley at great speed, landing directly before them and creating a deep pit in the ground, causing dust and fog to rise around them.
Ma Biaohu coolly turned, scrutinizing the two individuals. He was instantly intrigued. Normal people couldn’t find Thunder Valley. Before him stood a beautiful woman and an old man, mismatched in every way—truly curious. Where did they come from? With this in mind, he asked sternly, "Who are you?"
Facing the imposing man with extraordinary strength, Xing Meng brushed her cascading hair with her slender jade hand, took two steps forward, and said gently, "Sir, Sect Master Lin sent us here."
As Xing Meng approached, a fragrance wafted over, along with her suggestive tone, causing Ma Biaohu to bristle and take two steps back immediately, exclaiming, "Boss? He sent you? For what?"
No wonder they found this place; it was on the Boss’s instructions. These two must be Ascenders. However, seeing this woman before him, adorned in a splendid gauzy gown and bedecked with gold and silver, she looked every bit the nouveau riche. Such attire—could she truly be an Ascender? He then asked, "Are you Ascenders?"
