Chapter 1323: Chapter 532: The Lone Monarch Overlooking the World (Part 2)
“Master, there is still some distance between the Western Continent and the other territories.”
Richard hesitated to speak, his tone cautious.
“In between, there lies a vast expanse of open Sea.”
“If our army marches rashly, I fear…”
Zhang Beixing smiled faintly, brimming with confidence.
“This ocean is nothing more than a stepping stone on my campaign.”
“I will build a port here.”
“Let it become the bridgehead for the Empire’s expedition!”
His words rang out like iron, stirring the blood.
Alina and Richard exchanged a glance, and saw the same resolve in each other’s eyes.
“As you command, Your Majesty!”
“We are willing to spill liver and brain, to give our lives in service to you!”
The vow of loyalty echoed through the great hall.
Zhang Beixing nodded in satisfaction and turned to gaze out the window.
Beneath the towering mountains stretched an endless forest.
Farther still lay that boundless, unknown ocean.
Ambition, in that instant, was completely ignited.
With a single order, the Dark Empire’s army began a new round of operations.
Countless soldiers sweated like rain, marching day and night.
With the cooperation of the Elf Race, a magnificent port rose from the ground.
A thousand sails unfurled, ten thousand ships put out to sea.
The spirit of the army surged, morale soared.
On the great vessel, Zhang Beixing was full of confidence, heroic passion surging to the heavens.
“When the Iron Cavalry tramples the coastline flat one day.”
“In this world, who will still be able to block my steps?”
His words fell, heavy as stone.
[Master, caution above all.]
[On the other end of this ocean, there likewise lurk enemies that must not be underestimated.]
The System once more offered its advice, voice grave.
[If anything goes wrong, all previous efforts may be ruined.]
Hearing this, Zhang Beixing only snorted in disdain.
“Mere ants, and they dare to be insolent before me?”
He gave a cold smile, hands folded behind his back.
Murderous aura billowed around him as he gazed down upon the world.
“Don’t forget, I am—”
“The king who rules heaven and earth!”
His domineering presence was chilling, a king without rival.
The great ship cleaved the waves, charging toward the unknown shore in triumphant advance.
And at this very moment, on the other side of the Sea.
A mysterious man in a black robe suddenly raised his head.
“Hm? This aura…”
He narrowed his eyes, his gaze like lightning.
“Seems a remarkable figure is about to come pay us a visit.”
Before his voice had fallen, a playful smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
As though he were awaiting a world-shaking encounter.
“Good. I was just worrying I had no opponent.”
“Let me see what qualifications he has to dare step into my domain!”
Murderous intent soared to the sky, killing will spread in all directions.
Smoke of war rose, blood mist filled the air.
With a heaven-shaking roar, a slaughter of blood and storm had already begun…
A new journey had already opened.
A new legend was being staged.
This era would, in the end, be completely rewritten by that man!
Who will be the one laughing last?
Who will be the one to rule everything?
The answer to that question can only be sought in the clash of sword against sword.
“Hahaha, interesting!”
Zhang Beixing laughed loudly, heroic spirit surging.
“No matter who stands ahead, they can forget about blocking my stride!”
“Come then, send everything you’ve got!”
“I want to see what kind of enemy is hidden at the other end of this Sea!”
The Vampire King, with a posture that looked down upon the world, was welcoming a new challenge.
His ambition to unify the world had never burned so fiercely as in this moment.
Is it glory, or is it downfall?
Is it domination, or is it destruction?
This battle was destined to become the watershed of a new era.
And Zhang Beixing was the king of this cruel game.
His legend had only just begun.
The earth was calling, expectant—
for the immortal chapter that belonged to him.
Richard and Alina followed close at his side, fighting spirit high.
The Persuasion System constantly offered pointers, accompanying him forward.
In this world where darkness and light intertwined.
The road ahead was long, opportunity and challenge coexisting.
But with an unyielding will, extraordinary insight, and overwhelming Power.
He would, in the end, ascend to the very pinnacle of this era.
Unifying all directions, standing proudly over all heroes.
Becoming the legendary king revered by the masses.
This was what belonged to him—
Ruling the world, seeking defeat in lonely supremacy!
This sentence, like the most intense declaration, echoed within Zhang Beixing’s heart.
He knew he was born destined to become the true king of this era.
No matter how many hardships and dangers lie ahead, he will conquer them one by one.
With his unmatched strength and wisdom, he will make the entire world submit beneath his feet.
The great ship cleaved through the waves and surged toward the unknown shore.
The sea wind howled, whipping up Zhang Beixing’s black cape.
The fluttering hem of his cloak was like a king’s banner, proclaiming his unstoppable momentum.
“Beixing, what kind of enemies do you think are waiting for us on the other side?”
Alina’s red lips parted slightly, her beautiful eyes brimming with anticipation and battle intent.
As the Princess of the Vampire Race, she knew full well how powerful the man in her heart was.
No matter what kind of formidable foes they met, none could shake his resolve.
“No matter who it is, they can forget about blocking my advance.”
Zhang Beixing’s lips curled into a disdainful smile, his tone absolute and unyielding.
“I’ll let them know that this world now bears the name Zhang.”
His words rang out like metal, each syllable as heavy as a mountain.
His entire body radiated an aura that made others shudder involuntarily.
“Master, your subordinate is willing to blaze a trail of thorns for you and flatten all obstacles!”
Richard gripped his longsword tightly and knelt on one knee.
His vow was filled with loyalty and grim determination.
He knew that his mission was to assist his lord in dominating the world and unifying the eight directions.
[With the Elf Race submitting, your power has improved quite a bit again.]
[Coupled with Soul Devourer and Angel’s Wing, I have a hunch that in this battle you’ll be invincible.]
The voice of the Persuasion System sounded in his mind at just the right moment.
It added another few degrees to Zhang Beixing’s confidence.
“Right now I only want to know how many treasures are waiting for me at the end of this sea.”
He gazed into the distance, his handsome face full of eagerness to try.
“The secrets buried there… I’m afraid even gods don’t know them, right?”
It was as if he could already see the glorious scene of possessing all of it.
Endless wealth, boundless honor, bowing low at his feet.
Under heaven, there would be no one left who could contend with him.
Just as Zhang Beixing and his party were sailing toward the far shore full of longing…
The originally calm sea surface suddenly rippled.
A surge of powerful energy fluctuations quietly spread out across the seabed.
It was as if something had been disturbed.
And what followed was a voice that made everyone’s blood run cold.
“Who dares trespass into my territory?”
Deep and ethereal, like a divine oracle.
Yet laced with icy killing intent.
Before anyone could react, a sudden mutation erupted!
A heaven–shaking, earth–shattering boom detonated out of nowhere.
It was deafening, as if it would tear a person’s soul into shreds.
The next second, towering waves surged up across the sea surface.
Wave crests dozens of meters high crashed toward the fleet, blotting out the sky.
In an instant, they swallowed all the ships.
“Who dares make a move against me?”
Zhang Beixing frowned slightly and barked out.
He stood with his hands behind his back, utterly motionless.
Letting the fierce wind and sudden rain rampage around him, he remained completely unafraid.
“Beixing, be careful! That power seems to be coming from the seabed…”
Alina’s delicate body trembled, and she hurriedly called out in warning.
She sharply sensed that a powerful existence was closing in.
“My lord, your subordinate is willing to fight at your side and defend your safety to the death!”
Richard stepped forward, his gaze like blazing torches.
He swore to cut down all threats beneath his horse.
“All of you, fall back.”
Zhang Beixing only smiled faintly and raised a hand to stop the two of them.
“A mere Sea Demon isn’t even worthy of my notice.”
“You just watch from the side—I’ll show it what ‘difference in level’ truly means!”
As soon as the words left his mouth, he suddenly leaped up.
Both feet stepped onto the roaring waves, yet he was as steady as Mount Tai.
The next moment, a pair of pure white wings abruptly unfurled behind his back.
Angel’s Wing!
It was the embodiment of sanctity and majesty, a symbol of ruling over the world.
“Come out, stop hiding in the shadows.”
Zhang Beixing spoke; his voice wasn’t loud, yet every word resounded like a bell.
Like an oracle, not to be disobeyed.
Before his voice had faded, a layer of eerie blue light suddenly spread across the sea surface.
A colossal form slowly rose from beneath the water.
It was a half-man, half-fish monstrosity!
Its upper body was a towering human torso, while its lower half was a fish tail.
A chilling aura radiated from its entire body as it looked down on all living things.
“Human, are you aware of your crime?”
The Sea Demon spoke, its voice booming like a great bell.
“Trespassing in my territory—how could you not pay the price?”
Its gaze was sharp as a torch, locked straight onto Zhang Beixing.
As if it wanted to swallow him alive with its eyes alone.
“Heh, with just that little bit of ability, you dare act arrogant in front of me?”
Zhang Beixing let out a cold laugh, not taking it seriously in the slightest.
“I’d like to see what you can possibly do to me.”
With that, he suddenly thrust out his right hand.
His five fingers hooked like claws, going straight for the Sea Demon’s throat.
That was strength cultivated to the extreme, enough to tear the firmament.
“Courting death!”
The Sea Demon’s expression changed drastically as it roared in fury.
