Exiled!? Ha! I have An Infinite Space
Chapter 235: THE END
That night, everyone gathered for a big dinner at the Fu house. Long tables were set up in the yard, filled with hot food and big bowls of rice. Every person in the family sat together, their faces bright in the warm lantern light.
Madame Fu and Bai Ming brought out the last bowls of soup, placing them down with happy smiles before sitting down.
Just as everyone picked up their chopsticks to eat, the wooden doors opened.
Master Fu walked out into the yard.
Every single person stopped moving. Master Fu was not using his walking stick. He was walking all by himself, taking strong, steady steps!
Fu Tong opened his mouth wide, almost dropping his bowl. Fu Li clapped her hands over her mouth, and Fu Sheng stood up so fast his chair made a loud noise.
“Father!” Fu Sheng cried out, his eyes big with shock. “You… you are walking!”
Everyone at the table gasped with joy. Madame Fu had happy tears in her eyes, and Bai Ming smiled brightly.
Master Fu walked right to the main seat at the top of the table. He stood tall, looked at his happy family, and then turned his eyes to Su Long.
“I do not need my walking stick anymore,” Master Fu said, his voice full of happiness. “For a long time, I could not walk. But because of Su Long’s good medicine and kindness, my legs are completely healed.”
Master Fu lifted his tea cup high in the air and looked at Su Long with big respect.
“I want to say something to everyone,” Master Fu said loudly so everyone could hear. “When we first got exiled, I thought our lives were ruined. I thought our family was finished. But then Su Long came into our home. She protected us when we were weak. She gave us food when we were hungry. She healed my legs and made our whole village peaceful. We are so lucky to have such a smart and brave daughter-in-law!”
“To Su Long!” Master Fu shouted, holding his cup up.
“To Su Long!” everyone cheered together loudly.
Madame Fu smiled sweetly at her. “Thank you, my dear child, for keeping our family safe.”
Fu Sheng looked at Su Long with deep love and gently took her hand under the table. He squeezed her fingers softly, his eyes shining as he spoke to his father.
“Father, you are right,” Fu Sheng said loudly, his voice filled with pride. “Su Long is the best thing that ever happened to me and to this family. I am the luckiest man alive to have her as my wife.”
Fu Tong grinned big, waving a chicken leg in the air. “Thank you, Sister Su! Because of you, we have a roof over our head, food to eat and have gained a name for ourselves in the barren lands!”
“Thank you, Sister Su!” Fu Li, Fu Fei, and Zhao Yin yelled out happily.
Su Long stood up politely from her chair. She raised her cup and looked at every face, her loving family who had stayed by her side.
“Thank you, Father, Mother, Fu Sheng, and everyone,” Su Long said softly with a beautiful smile. “I did not do this alone. We survived because we helped each other as one family. As long as I am the leader of Unit Fifty, no one will ever hurt you again.”
She drank her tea, and everyone clapped their hands and cheered loudly. The night was full of laughter, yummy food, and fun.
When dinner was almost finished, Han Fuji put his cup down. He looked at the family with a serious smile.
“I have something important to tell you,” Han Fuji said, and everyone went quiet to listen. “A messenger came from the Emperor. He sent me an official letter.”
Everyone listened carefully.
“My work in these dry lands is finished,” Han Fuji explained simply. “The Emperor wants me to come back to the big city. I will leave tomorrow morning.”
He looked at Bai Ming and the little kids. “Bai Ming and the children will come with me.”
They all felt sad to say goodbye, but Han Fuji looked at Master Fu and Su Long with strong eyes.
“I know bad people lied about the Fu family and forced you to come here,” Han Fuji said bravely. “I promise you all tonight, when I get back to the big city, I will fix everything. I will tell the Emperor the truth, clear your family name, and bring you all back home!”
Master Fu felt so much joy in his heart. He stood up and bowed politely to Han Fuji. “Thank you, Lord Han. We trust you.”
Su Long looked at Han Fuji and nodded. “Have a safe trip, Lord Han. We will wait for your good news.”
Under the bright stars, the family cheered one last time for their happy future, knowing that good days were finally here.
…
Later that night, the house was finally quiet. Su Long stood by the window in her room, watching the peaceful moonlight wash over the courtyard.
Fu Sheng walked up softly behind her. He wrapped his warm arms around her waist, pulling her gently against his chest, and placed a soft, loving kiss on the back of her neck.
“I am going to take a bath now, my love,” Fu Sheng murmured softly near her ear, his touch tender and sweet.
Su Long smiled, nodding her head. “Go on. I will be waiting.”
He let her go with a gentle squeeze of her hand and walked into the bathing area, closing the door behind him.
Su Long turned around, intending to walk over to the bed to rest. But before her feet could even touch the rug, the world around her suddenly glitched.
The walls of the room dissolved into thin air. The moonlight vanished. Everything became pitch black.
Su Long gasped as she found herself standing in the middle of a vast, silent darkness. It was the exact same empty void she had been in right before she transmigrated into this novel world.
Suddenly, a bright, glowing blue screen materialized right in front of her face. Clean white letters appeared across the screen, line by line:
[Congratulations, Host!]
[You have successfully completed the story!]
[Main Goal Achieved: Gained the full love and trust of your husband, in-laws, and children.]
[Your Final Reward: You are granted the choice to come back to life in your original world and return to your past life!]
Su Long stared at the glowing blue words, her chest tightening instantly. A wave of conflicting feelings washed over her. She didn’t know whether she should feel happy or heartbroken.
She looked at the empty black void around her and asked the system in a shaking voice, “What about the family? If I leave… what happens to Su Long? What happens to Fu Sheng and the kids?”
The system screen flashed gently, new words forming across the glass:
[To them, Su Long will still exist.]
[She will live on smoothly, loving her family just as you did.]
[Remember, Host, this is a story. And every story keeps living on, even after the words ‘THE END’ appear on the final page.]
Su Long’s eyes welled with tears, a deep ache swelling in her heart.
She looked back toward the darkness where her room used to be. She loved Fu Sheng with all her heart. She loved his gentle touch, his quiet strength, and the way he looked at her with endless devotion. She loved the kids, the chaotic house, and the life they had built together from nothing. She truly did not want to leave him.
But at the same time, she had a real life waiting for her back in her own world. Before transmigrating, she was a top actress with a sparkling career. She had loving parents who were probably weeping over her body, and a best friend who was waiting for her to wake up.
Tears spilled down her cheeks as she stood in the cold, dark void, torn between two completely different lives and two completely different kinds of love.
Su Long stood alone in the void, her breath coming in soft and heavy.
On one side of her heart lay her modern life, her career as a top actress, her crying parents, and her best friend waiting for her to open her eyes in a hospital room. On the other side lay Fu Sheng’s warm embrace, the smiles of the Fu family, and the peaceful, thriving home they had built together in Unit Fifty.
She looked at the glowing blue screen floating before her.
[System Query: Host, please state your final decision.]
[Option A: Return to the Modern World.]
[Option B: Remain in the Story World.]
And slowly she brought her hands towards the screen.. and with a click of her fingertips… she choose her answer.
THE END
Dear Readers,
We have officially reached the end of Exiled!? I have an Infinite Space.
First of all, I want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to every single one of you who read, commented, voted, and supported me throughout this journey. Your encouragement truly kept me going, especially during a time when writing this book was not emotionally easy for me.
I began writing this story while grieving the painful loss of my mom. There were many days when finding the motivation or creativity to write felt overwhelming, but seeing your kind words and continuous support gave me the strength to push through and complete this book. I could not have reached this point without you all.
You might notice that the story concludes with an open ending. Because of that, I leave the final choice in your hands! You have the full freedom to imagine whichever ending feels right to you for Su Long and her family.
As I reached the end, I felt that my creative energy for this particular story had run its course, which is why I decided to bring it to a close here. But I promise you that my ongoing projects and future books will feature even better, more fully realized endings.
Thank you once again for taking this journey with me, for loving these characters, and for being such an amazing community
